    Visible damages were I to install it. Fixes would be blatantly obvious, and I paid for a new shower.

    Update: I'm furious. They delivered the walls of the shower, broken again, and the base piece that was delivered was completely the wrong item. It was a tub in the box of the shower base I ordered... Had to cancel contractors again. It's a foregone conclusion now that I've officially lost more money with this shower than the product itself cost.

    This Lowe's is located off Beaver Ruin Road in Norcross next to CarMax. We like Lowe's better than Home Depot. Point blank. This Lowe's is the closest one to us. Hubby finds more quality products at Lowe's, plus the staff is much more helpful. We've been going to Lowe's more lately now because of that reason. 16/2021

    The metal roller and metal base for the sanding belt are scuffed up! Clearly not new and was used!

    Lowe's is unreliable and unprofessional by selling used and damaged equipment. I went to their store in Norcross yesterday to purchase a belt sander and I opened the box with a salesperson's help to check if it was okay. The sander was in a plastic bag, but it didn't look neat, I assumed it was okay. I took it to a job site to use it and when I pulled it out of the plastic bag the sanding roller and bottom of the sander metal was all scuffed up as it had been clearly used. I called Lowe's immediately to tell them what had happened and that I was going to return it. I needed to use it anyway because it was emergent for a job, but when I put the sanding belt on the sander it didn't work! Not only did they sell me a used sander but it was also broken! They clearly have no quality control with their employees to check the merchandise and just put it back on the shelf without checking it. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!

I looked on the lowes website for a drill battery pack and saw that the norcross store had it in stock and listed on the lowes website for $79.00. No where does it say online price only! when I went to the store and got my item to check out, the item rang up for $100. I asked the checkout lady to price match the item and she said I would have to go to customer service desk to do this. Ok not a problem I thought to myself. However, when I showed the customer service desk representative on the lowes app the 79.00 price they said "ohh, that's the online price. If you want it for that price you'll have to order it from online". I asked to speak to their manager about it and they said that the manager would just tell me the same. So I stood there at the desk while I spent about 15mins updating/logging on, putting in credit card and address info on the lowes app to place an app order for instore pickup. Then to just be like. Ok I ordered it online. Here is my order info. Can I go now? Lowes price match guarantee my a$$. They don't even price match their own price.

    I only shop at this Lowe's location because it's the closest to my house. Never trust what their inventory shows. I've searched their website/app for various products on numerous occasions and it will show that they have the products I'm looking for. When you actually go to the store to buy it, they never have it in stock! For example, I called today to confirm that they have pine straw in stock because their website says that have it. I talked to a lady on the phone and she confirmed they did have it and she said I should go to the Garden Center to purchase it and they would load it for me. I rented a truck to go pick up the pine straw, I went to the store, and got in line to buy it; and, of course, the guy tells me they don't have any in stock and they haven't had any for weeks. This is absolutely ridiculous and I wasted my money renting a truck for nothing. Thanks a lot, Lowe's!!!!

I guess that's the price we pay for convenience.

    TLDR: I would strongly recommend not purchasing equipment from this location. This location does…read morenot have the capability to be an authorized Stihl dealer. I expect it's the same with all the high dollar equipment including BGE. I purchased a Stihl RB400 pressure washer in the morning to strip paint off my house, as my old pressure washer wasn't up to the task. I used it for about 20 minutes before all 4 anti vibration mounts sheared off the chassis and the engine and pump fell to the ground. After looking at it, it looks like the mounts were severely over-torqued by Ace during assembly. It was a little frustrating to have that happen to a brand new $850 piece of equipment that's supposed to be top of the line, but whatever, things happen and Stihl has a great warranty right? So I called the store to make a warranty claim, and I was informed they do not have any repair staff on site and would have to ship it to a repair facility. I've owned a lot of Stihl equipment, I've never had an issue with a warranty claim until now. They gave me an estimate of 2 weeks to repair, but since I have a halfway unpainted house now, I told them I just wanted to return it. On the phone they told me no problem and to bring it in. I loaded it up and took it in. When I got there they told me they can't take Stihl returns and I'd have to send it in for repairs. I run all Stihl equipment at my house, and I own a business that runs Stihl equipment in all our crew trucks. I've made plenty of returns and had plenty of warranty claims at other Stihl dealers without ever having a problem. This Ace is either unwilling to help or unable to help, both cases are simply unacceptable. If you'll be purchasing major equipment, purchase somewhere that can stand behind it and make you whole. That's kind of the whole point of paying a premium for Stihl.

I have a plumbing problem and hoped I could resolve it, even if temporarily, before spending a couple hundred bucks on a plumber. Simple and reasonable, at least to me. I went in the store, showed the part to the guy at the counter, I folliwed him to the plumbing aisle, he did not have the replacement part and recommended a plumber. He said the part could not be repaired and did not want to sell me something that I could not use. He walked away to do something else. It took 5, maybe 6 minutes of his time. Ok, fine. I continued to look hoping for a temporary solution. I went to the counter and asked his opinion. 2 minutes of his time. He instantly became exasperated and impatient. He exhaled and grew increasingly irritated because I asked his opinion. He was rude, and clearly my presence in the store was annoying him. He provided a contact number for a plumber - of course I would never call his contact after my experience with him. I am so disappointed.

I had just did a trade-in a couple days earlier at Lowes and used the tank about 30 minutes on low while I sat out back to enjoy a cigar and a glass of bourbon. So since I would do the same on New Years, I wanted to simply top off the tank. The tank was still at least 3/4 full. I carried the tank to the front and the guy told me to leave the tank up front and they would take it back to be filled. While I waited 3 other people came in to fill their tanks. Now, I am used to how the East Point Hardware operates as they allow you to see them fill the tank and then they write down the amount of propane filled and you simply take it to the register and pay and then pull your car up to grab the tank as they do not allow tanks in the store due to it being a fire hazard. When (she) manager brough my tank and receipt it read full price for a full refill. I knew this was impossible as the tank was barely used. I asked her to show me the amount placed in the tank and she simply said it was a full refill. When I told her this was impossible, she stated all of the tanks she received were full refills. I asked again, how could a tank that was 3/4 full need a full refill (price)? She could not even look me in the face when she said this as I knew she was not telling the truth even after questioning this a few times with her. Unfortunately, I bet this has happened to a lot of customers that did not pay attention to their receipt as it looks like this location will charge you for a full refill no matter how much propane is in the tank at the time of receiving for refill. This is truly an unscrupulous way to do business. Not everyone waits until their tanks are completely empty before getting refills. I am not sure if this is the manager's business practice or if she was trained to do it this way. Either way, it's not good!! Overcharging for propane refills I guess is an easy way to additionally get additional profit from customers. I am all for making sure a business makes their profit margins on their products, services etc, but do it ETHICALLY! By the way, the 2 young high school looking guys at the front of the store were very friendly.

I get the easy stuff at those locations. But when I have questions or need help finding the right product, I go to Howard Brothers where the employees make an effort to be knowledgeable of what they sell. Prices are a little higher, but you won't find yourself going back-and-forth exchanging what you purchased the first time making a return and purchasing the 'right' product on multiple trips. The Home Depot and Lowe's have gotten so bad, even the employees tell you to purchase 2 or 3 of something, try them all, keep the one that works, then return the ones that did not work. As far as that goes, I may as well just order stuff off websites which give you equally unhelpful knowledge of what you need. Yep, I'll continue to drive past The Home Depot and Lowe's to get to Howard Brothers when I know I need help or have questions purchasing the correct product the first time.
