FIRST SIGNS OF SPRING! As soon as we drove up to the store looking for garden planters, we noticed the beautiful flowers that are just in time for spring. Although it is still early, they had a colorful selection of early bloomers. They also have a limited selection of small trees and shrubs. When selecting your plants this season, (especially the unique and unfamiliar), don't forget to make sure that you have a marker because there is nothing worse than trying to find a rare plant based purely on a physical description. Having the name and picture is very helpful. They did have a planter that we liked but it was shorter than what is needed. However, the price was very reasonable. We will just wait a few more weeks and check back since they are still in limited supply. I like being able to go out ahead of the crowds to identify what I like and check for quality so that when everything is in stock, I can just pounce. Timing is everything! The flowers displayed today looked deliciously healthy and fresh. Can't wait to get some new planters and start planting! read more

In general, I prefer Home Depot over Lowe's, however when I do shop at Lowe's I shop at this location. This is a very large store and seems to offer many more items than other Lowe's that I've visited. Wide aisles, good lighting and attentive staff when you can find them. That last is more a sign of the times than a complaint, as even Home Depot seems to have cut staff - actually HD seems to have a more knowledgeable staff in the particular departments if you need advice. I've found that each chain offers a slightly different experience - Lowe's is geared more for the cart-shopper with a larger selection of appliance, lighting and accessory type items rather than building and hardware fundamentals. Each also price-matches the other so if something is on sale at one and is available in the other store (same make and model) you can purchase for a bit extra off - convenient when one chain's sale has reduced inventory and the other chain is both closer and has inventory. The garden center is exeptional at this location with a large inventory. If you're nearby and need appliances, lighting or stuff for your lawn/garden then this location is particularly good. For other materials more for suited for he building or actual home improvement you might want to consider Home Depot, especially if you have questions regarding application or installation. This store is located on the corner of Beaver Ruin and Indian Trail Rd - it's actually easier to approach from I285 using the indian Trail Rd exit and traveling West - there's an entrance before you get to Beaver Ruin. It's also right next to CarMax - one complaint that I have is that the parking is a little ackward - there's plenty of spaces but you may have to walk a bit or enter through the garden center. read more

There are several Lowe's Home Improvement Stores in my area, so I'm not a "regular" at any of them. But I think that just might change after my last 2 experiences with the Lowe's on Beaver Ruin Rd in Norcross. First of all, I stopped by on the 4th of July to check prices on some new appliances for my on-going kitchen remodel. I found my dream Fridge and Dishwasher that day - and the special sale price made it even better! The salesguy - Glenn - was very helpful and so nice to work with. He gave me all the details on scheduling delivery, warranties and who to call for what! Last night, I returned a light that I had purchased at the "other Lowe's" in my area. No problem! Then I browsed around to see if they had a different selection of lighting and they did. I made another purchase and was treated like their #1 customer when I checked out. This store has a horrible customer service especially on wed around 4 pm. They forget who is the customer and where the money come from for their salaries. I got called different things while picking up and online order. It took like twenty minutes before I canceled my order. I was asked how could I be help on mom 17 of waiting. I said that the waiting was stupid. The clerk called everybody in my family stupid. She even called me a fag. The supervisor just stood there smiling. I told him to make her shut up. He didn't. I guess they don't like that kind of costumers there. She called my wife stupid too. I heard of some places hiring ex convicts to give them a second chance. I wouldn't not go to that store anymore. The location is easy accessible from the interstate and clean. HOWEVER the customer service was poor. The cashier Mariana was unwilling to assist and or contact another team to assist us. After several attempts to probe for help still to no avail. The team member could benefit from re training on importance of customer service and role it plays on repeat business or the lack thereof. read more

Beware! This location is notorious for closing 10-15 minutes early before closing time. Be there at least 30 minutes before closing time.

I recently purchased my refrigerator, washer and dryer from the Norcross Lowe's. When, of no fault of their own, the 3rd party delivery company didn't show, the delivery manager, immediately stepped in to assist. He worked with me for days to find replacement appliances that could be delivered in an acceptable timeframe. In my opinion he went above and beyond to make sure that I selected and received my appliances. He followed up on the delivery day to make sure that I was satisfied. To be honest, prior this experience, I don't remember that last time I've received such outstanding customer service. Kudos to Ray and this Norcross team!!! read more

Ordered multiple appliances online that were supposed to ship from this location. Multiple emails, texts and calls confirmed my delivery date; I took a day off work and waited at the house for 6 hours without a delivery. Called delivery service and they said that Lowes cancelled the order. No call, no email, nothing. Wasted an entire day waiting then another day wasted on the phone trying to fix the issue. Lesson learned, Will never make a large purchase from Lowes again. Back to home depot for all my purchases. read more

Rude, rude, RUDE cashier outside in the garden center. The hubs and I stopped by here on our way home from work because it was convenient and they had better prices on mulch than HD. My husband loaded up a flat bed with the mulch we needed and we went to check out. The cashier asked us how many bags we had. My husband responded 7. The cashier made a big deal out of it insisting that we had way more bags that 7 - he basically called my husband a liar without flat out saying it. So he proceeded to count the bags and sure enough we had 7 bags. There was no apology or anything from the guy. It's just ridiculously rude to treat a customer like that. We usually shop at HD anyway and I will definitely think twice before shopping at this Lowe's location in the future. read more

I have TRIED & TRIED with this store!!!!! Every time an EPIC fail!!! Nobody knows what they're doing. They do not close till 10 PM I arrived at 8:15 pm. Needed assistance in appliances was told to come back tomorrow because the employee that works the appliances department has gone home for the night. You mean to tell me no one else in that store could help me with freaking appliances!!!! I'm done!!! We went to Lowe's because they had the washer and dryer we wanted, and I have to agree with Luke - the employees here are infinitely more helpful than those at HD. They seem to actually enjoy working there and will take as much time as needed. Also, when they don't know the answer to a question they are fine telling you that and getting someone who does know to help. Awesome service. Friendly cashiers. I'm all about this place. read more

Ordered a product online stating that this was the only store which had the product I needed. I was sent an email stating that my order was processed and that I would be contacted when it was ready for pick up. After a few hours I received a call from a Lowe's employee who told me that they no longer carry the product. They even gave some insider information! If you ever order anything online that shows 2-3 items in stock... that means they dont have it! This was ver batum per the employee. When I asked how to get the product that I need... she suggested their competitors Home Depot! Wow!!! I am sick of dealing with this nonsense. read more

The staff through out the building is really great and helpfull my issues seam to only come about at the checkout. yesterday I went and no less than 6 employees standing behind the regesters looking at thier buddy playing in the parking lot, 2 regesters with the light lit but no cashier behind them. than I go to the automated and start my transaction. but the machine feels like it needs assitance from a person. nobody to found. I had tto call out for one of the empoloyees to break away from their entertainment to help me out. I guess that is why we are autmoting store fronts becasue we cant find anyone that wants to help the guest and work a cash regester. read more

UPDATE: After protesting this store for a year, I'm sad to say still horrible. We sat in the window/door dept for 30 minutes with no assistance. A Lowes employee who called twice for us and I call directly into the store letting them know we need assistance. Not a soul to be found. After speaking with another Lowes- it is know to be horrible for customer service but all large orders /online are pulled from this store, I guess they have no incentive to provide service to the walk-in consumer. Non-helpful staff made shopping here a very frustrating experience. I had some loose machine bolts and washers and the young lady at the register actually wasn't at all interested in doing her job and looking up the items to ring them up. Purchased a lawn mower last week...got a good deal and associates were helpful. Been here many times for small purchases but this was the biggest so far. Due to order issues and staff complaints, I have had the opportunity to speak to many of the department heads and managers. I would give this lowes zero if possible. The staff will walk right by you and not even offer to help. You have to wait forever someone to help and they cant answer your question so they have to ask someone else and you wait forever on them. Sunday, I visited store #1507 and had a HORRID experience attempting to rent a truck. I was told the truck could not be leased due to the air pressure being low. I asked the cashier if they were putting air in it & was told I could not rent it due to it being a liability with insurance. It made absolutely NO SENSE to not rent the truck for low air pressure. I ask for a manager. A woman named Quanisha (?) came to assist. I questioned her about the air pressure & she didn't seem confident in her answer. I noticed her name tag said 'head cashier' (not manager). Next thing I know, a guy walks by & says, "They're going to let you rent the truck." I walk back over to the counter and a hispanic female (who was not scheduled to work) requests my ID/proof of insurance.I provide my license & she asks how long will I need the truck.I tell her less than an hour. I need to take a dining room set home and the box is too big to fit in my car.I provide my ins card on my phone & she says it's unacceptable bc it isn't a hard copy. Even the police accept this & I do not keep physical copies. I noticed a printer behind her & offered to fwd it so they can print it to satisfy their policy requirements. She decides to accept the proof I have instead. Next, she asks me who is Gary Shine. I explain he is the policyholder/my father. The rep tells me she won't accept my ins bc the policy is not in my name.I call my mother & she logs online to send cards displaying my name.I come back to the counter to be questioned by the 'manager.' I ask her what's the issue bc they're giving me the run around with no explanation. She asks how did I get an ins card with my name so quickly. I told her it was 2016, what did she mean? She is also irritated & tells me she cannot rent the truck bc I have to move Lowe's merchandise only (though they'd been informed of this). The staff refused me service & I STILL don't have a VALID reason as to why. read more

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE!!! As I read all the reviews I notice the pattern of this Lowe's terrible service. I placed an order online for my dad for a Christmas gift with my first paycheck. There was some equipment he wanted for a while and my order got canceled. I placed an order on Black Friday for a Miter Saw for a Black Friday sale price and got a confirmation email and everything. Then I got an email saying the order got delayed and to confirm it in order for it to not get canceled. When I called the person told me there were no more in stock and that I missed my chance to get the deal. I MADE THE ORDER AT A SPECIFIC LOWES THAT HAD THE ITEM IN STOCK. I searched everywhere because others were sold out and found it and made the order, got the order confirmed, then got it canceled. I then tried to reorder it and they said I would have to pay full price for the sale is now over. This is unfair for me, who searched for the item and went out of my way to find the location that was in stock. I'm so dumbfounded by this service that I wanted to expose this behavior. I would not be so extra if it was my fault but I have no fault and I made my order on time at a location that CLAIMED to be in stock and then confirmed my order only to cancel it without any consent. This is false advertisement and I refuse to let them slide. My dad was so disappointed and let down because of this incident. read more

Worst customer service ever. Should have shopped at Home Depot instead. Bought three new appliances on November 1st after moving to Georgia, still waiting for delivery and installation (that I paid for) for a dishwasher and the replacement of a new Samsung Microwave that they installed (three days later) and after a few hours stopped working. Called them right away and still no nothing. Note, today is the 14th of November. Most of the time my calls go straight to hold and when I am lucky enough to get a hold of a customer service person, they put me on continues, endless hold. Of the two or more dozen times I have called this month, only four times did my call go through, with a promise that the items I purchased would be delivered (following a call from their delivery company, which never came). None of their managers follow though, something on heard of to me personally who have worked in sales, customer service and management for over thirty years! The only good purchase from their appliance section was a Samsung gas range which they promptly delivered and installed. At this point I'm about ready to report them to the better Business Bureau. read more

After puuulllling the card apart. it simply said "Count on us for all your projects"!
