They recently changed their system so I encountered difficulty exchanging my item, especially because I had ordered through DoorDash and could not have it be refunded to the card that it was paid through. However the employee who was helping me went above and beyond! It took some time and calling multiple people, but eventually she was able to help me after speaking to a supervisor on the phone who had gone home for the day. They figured out they needed to use a different computer for the exchange and they put it on a giftcard so I could repurchase the item I wanted to exchange it for. It was the same item but in a different color. I did not know that the Lowe's return and exchange policy was so complicated! Make sure to read up on their policy if you're making a purchase you are unsure about. This was my first experience doing so, and despite the wait, I really appreciated how the employee was so committed to helping me that she went above and beyond to get it figured out. I had a great experience! While waiting, the employees were also very fun and nice to talk to, which made my experience very pleasant. I liked their dynamic a lot. Quarantine seemed like a good time to start those home projects I never seemed to have time for before so there's been more trips to home improvement stores lately and while I usually go to Home Depot out of convenience, I really like the selection of paint samples Lowe's carries. For $4 you get an almost 8 oz. sample so you're really able to test out a color before you commit. I also like that you can order on-line and p/u in the store so that limits how much contact you have since you're not wandering around looking for things. Normally I like to browse but during these uncertain times I'll pass, lol. Shout out to all the staff who works at this location, especially to the team who takes care of the online pickup order. They were fantastic. I ordered more than 50 boxes of vinyl floors because they had a great deal with the color I wanted. By the time I got there, they had all the boxes ready in a pallet, and they even helped us load it in our car. Super great service. Don't order a custom door from here. It's been nearly 6 months and my door has yet to arrive. They tried to send out a door that was the wrong size and incorrect swing... even though they had someone come out and measure before ordering it. Then the guy who came to install the temporary door left the interior of my home exposed so now we have to cover that with tarp because it's starting to rain. We bought a window here - because it was the only place for miles that had this size. The person lives in Sacramento. as we were doing the final placement and installation, we discovered a small crack in the glass - under the sticker. So we had to remove the window, and drive ALL the way back to Stockton for a replacement. Computer Inventory showed eight in stock. Well there wasn't eight. There were THREE. One was damaged and had no screen and another one looked used and was FILTHY dirty. The third was a little battered - but should be easily cleaned up and installed. AND We had to finish THAT DAY! Lynndra was helping us at the Returns Desk. She was AWESOME. Very Friendly, helpful and understanding. We left the bad one at the desk and went to pick out the replacement. Went to the garden center looking for a cocktail fruit tree. Couldn't find one employee to help me. Had someone page for help in the garden center. After 10min still no one. Asked cashier at front for help but she told to ask another employee because she didn't understand what I was looking for. The other employee tells me cocktail fruit trees are only available during the summer time. I told him that's not true. Delivery crew showed up with my appliance 2 hours early but blocked driveway and got a total attitude and refused to deliver and left with my appliance, then they said my spouse cussed at them and they didn't feel safe. Worst experience ever at this Lowe's! I bought window blinds and had them cut in store. They cut two of the six I purchased wrong (one 1 1/2 inches short and the other 3/4 too long). To make matters worse, I made 5 phone calls with that store 1. Call on Monday (9/5/22) - Manager "What do you want me to do about it" ( initial response), after we got over that, they promised they would have them ready within two days. 2. Call back on Wednesday - Manager (same one I spoke with before) "Sorry, they didn't come in. I will send some to another store to pick them up and have them ready by Thursday ". No follow up 3. Call store again on Thursday 9/8/22 to find out the status - Customer Service - "The person who runs that department is out to lunch, I will have them call you back as soon as they return" No call back!!! 4. Call again on Saturday afternoon - Different Manager - when I explained to them what has occurred thus far, they state "No one entered anything into our system then said i don't have time for this" and hung up on me. 5. Call again on Monday (9/12/22) to ask about the status- Customer service - "No, we don't have that in stock, you'll need to go to another store" Can you see the trend? Managers don't care about their customers or the service that comes from their location. No follow up, extremely poor communication (Never entered into their system) and lack of empathy for a mistake they created. Do not shop at this Lowes, you will be severely let down. District Manager seriously needs to review the leadership at this store. Pathetic! On a positive note, the Lowes on Hammer Lane was able to take care of everything (and very pleasant and apologetic about my experience with this store) within 20 minutes. I purchased a dishwasher on Marxh 12th ( or so I thought ) and even though the sales person Flor was AWSOME there is something WRONG with lowes, they said they had the washer in stock but it took about 2 hours to schedule delivery and installation, then I was told someone would call Monday to advise me about the delivery, on Wednesday I called and talked to Gustavo and when I asked what happened to my delivery he said the dishwasher had just gotten to the store on Tuesday, What? They told me and confirmed they had 2when I did the purchase, anyways Gustavo discounted me installation fee of $170 for the inconvenience, I thought GREAT! However that discount only works if the appliance is actually delivered and Installed which it never happened, no one called me for any deliveries EVER! So on Saturday 7 days later I went into lowes to cancel everything, and they explained to me that I never got my dishwasher because I was supposed to pick it up my self! What a JOKE! so I paid for delivery and installation but I never got it because I didn't pick the dishwasher my self ?...Honestly I I won't ever buy any appliances at this lowes and you shouldn't either if you don't want to go through this nonsense, I mean look at their reviews, the majority had issues with appliances deliveries and or installation, I don't know who is to blame but upper management is completely CLUELESS If they haven't addressed this issues with so many low rating reviews from people who have been dessapointed by Lowes appliances department on trinity Parkway stockton, the only ones not disappointed are the homeless just down the road who go to lowes and steal what they need to build their housing projects, LOWES YOUR NAME SHOULD JUST BE LOW, As in low expectations from anyone who walks in your store, you should put a banner that reads " WE CAN'T PROMISE YOU ANYTHING SO PLEASE DON'T EXPECT YOUR APPLIANCES DREAMS TO COME TRUE" ......LOWE-SERS! read more

Looking for a new stovetop, I went to this Lowe's. They had a 30" G.E. on sale; however, Lowe's would not sell it to me until after their installer came to my home to take measurements (even though I had already measured). The costs of measuring is $45 and will be taken off the price of installation if I should choose to purchase from them. The installer came out two days later, took the measurements and left. I waited over a week for the sales clerk to call me, and finally just drove back to the stove to make the purchase. I discovered that the installer's measurements were 1/4" smaller than my measurements and they wanted to cut my countertop. The cost of this G.E. stovetop was about $540. Lowe's wanted an additional $467.50 for installation. With the installation charge, the price was almost double! I don't want to accuse Lowe's of being dishonest, but I found it pretty fishy that their measurements were 1/4" smaller than mine (and I remeasured to make sure). It almost felt like they mismeasured on purpose to get a higher installation fee. Of course they kept my $45. I think I will cross this store off of my preferred list of hardware stores. read more
