We recently decided we needed a new artificial Christmas Tree. The Family has allergies so can't go with the real tree thing. Besides, our last Tree lasted over 10 years. We needed a 9 to 10 feet tree that looked real and was pre-lit. We went everywhere and couldn't find the quality we were after. Finally we checked with Lowe's. They had THE BEST Trees at prices that were a phenomenal value compared to the competition. We got a 9 foot Robinson Fir tree, pre-lit. It looks like the real McCoy and it was only $187. Plus they shipped it to our front door for only $40. The folks at Lowe's couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. read more

Went to Lowe's this morning to return an item, it was 7:00am and no one was in line. The woman who was working told me she'd be right with me and proceeded to do her own thing while talking to other employees. After almost 10 min of being ignored I quite loudly asked for help again to which she responded "I told you I'd be there"! Meanwhile a line was building of people not keeping the required social distance and it took another customer to start cursing loudly to wake this so called essential worker up to the fact she was there to work and not socialize! Worst customer service experience of my life!! Bought new washer dryer from them except couldn't actually get it because of issues with delivery. Their delivery guys are incredibly rude and insensitive and what Lowe's has to say about it is "they are third party companies, we can't do anything about it". They are totally taking advantage of being the major appliance store that delivers during this pandemic. But guess what? They can't get my business with this behavior. Returned the washer dryer!!! So I purchased a glass shower panel from Lowe's in Temecula. When it arrived it was in a cardboard box that's not unusual, It's the way it was packed. The glass weighs 45lbs, you would think it would have been in between Styrofoam from preventing it from breaking or cracking. When I opened the box and picked it up it exploded no bullshit. Cutting my left bicep and forearm. My wives shoulder also got cut. I called the manufacturer and told them what happened there reply was that sometimes it happens if the glass was defected. So now I go to Lowe's in Temecula show them the pictures and explain what happened. To be blunt they didn't give a crap and offered no solution. If it was Home Depot they would've done something. This location in Temecula is one of the most disorganized Lowes I've ever been to. I ordered flooring online, got the email to come pick it up and they couldn't find it. Wasted about an hour of my life while they looked all over the place. And this is not a one off. Happens every single time I order flooring. Whether 1 box or 10 they end up making me wait 30-45 mins while they go look for my order. This time they couldn't find it and I'm completely done shopping at this store. read more

Ok, so I usually go to Lowe's when I need something quick or I know exactly what I need. I know I am going pay a little more than if I made the drive to Home Depot. The customer service is usually better at Lowes. But.... something changed recently. I went to Lowes and I had to ring the service buzzer three times before I got the pissed off employee to come and help me. I would understand if it was a Saturday but I was there during the week and it was a ghost town. Maybe my experience is an isolated incident but it would be nice if employees at retail stores understood that we the average Joe pay their salaries and would appreciate a little courtesy when patronizing their stores. By comparison I went to Home Depot the same day and I was greeted by at least 5 employees as I walked thru the store. I bought some carpeting at Lowe's. The entire transaction was terrific. Although I have not received my purchases as yet, the salesperson, Ed Rausch, is completely dependable and I am sure he will call when it is appropriate regarding my purchases. Not the best service anymore. Lowes has brought on many kids who just don't want to work but take breaks instead. Last time I was in I needed help in Lighting and had to ask three different people then I finally asked for a manager that never came over and all while there was at least 10 people standing in the Return area all just standing around like it was a party. Bought a water heater here on January 2018 and had it installed by Lowe's through their contractor. They charged $315 for installation plus $168 for materials! As per City code and regulation, new water heater installation must have a permit and inspected by city safety inspector. Had an inspection today and FAILED lol The installation contractor was All Star Heaters & plumbing. First and foremost I will not or even go into this establishment ever again. I purchased a deep freezer 15cu ft with a 5-year warranty. The employee that sold me the freezer and warranty. Showed me in the system 7/12 delivery between 8 am-12 pm. The associate had colored hair. Later in the day, I received a call from DSI logistics informing me that my delivery was between 2 pm-6 pm on 7/12. I called them back informing them that the colored hair associate at Lowes Temecula told me 8 am -12 pm. DSI said Lowes was wrong. I called Lowes and spoke to the manager on duty. Who showed no empathy or sympathy. He said the employee was wrong and he would be coached. I asked for a follow-up call. The manager on duty said that no one would call me back. I told the manager on duty that I needed to get all my frozen groceries after the 8 am - 12 pm delivery window. I couldn't afford to wait all day on 7/12. Again he on behalf of Lowes Temecula showed no empathy or sympathy. It's sad that we are in a pandemic. However, the way I was treated by Lowes and DSI logistics. Makes me to never patronage the Lowes in Temecula. They all lack empathy and sympathy. It's all about the bottom line and the customer is treated like "shit" on the bottom of a person's shoe. okay so I looked up some concrete acid stain on line on home depots site and found what I wanted, I get there and they don't even have it!! the guy in paint has no clue what im talking about and tells me its prolly a customer service special order thing but still no clue. I called Lows to find out if they have it and they carry in in store and the clerk checked while on the phone. I get there and get all the help I need about the product and in there ad it showes stain and paint im getting with a rebate. when I pay its not the right product on the rebate but they decide to just take the $5 off each gallon right there since it was the brand of stuff that was on the rebate. I never have a good experience here. I placed an online order which was delivered by truck this morning. In the special instructions, I requested they bring a pallet jack so the pallets could be delivered to my backyard instead of the driveway. I received an automated call last night saying the delivery was coming today between the 2 hour time frame of 8am and noon. The truck showed up at 7:30am without a pallet jack. Also, one of the items I received was incorrect. I spent 20 minutes on the phone this morning with the store and they are exchanging the item but say they do not have access to a pallet jack. If it wasn't a further drive, I would always go to Home Depot since I've never had a single issue there and the staff is always much more helpful. This was just one bad experience of many I've had at Lowes so I avoid this store whenever possible. read more

I'm giving this location a 1 star as their is no way to make a negative star. I purchased a gas dryer and was going to get shipped and installed to my residency. The sales associate told me I got to get the gas lines, and other items as well. So I went with his recommendation on what was needed, set up a delivery time/date... It was delivered when I was at work; dropped off, still in the box with the recommended hardware on top. I called and spoke to the manager; she said she will take care of it-that the reason why it wasn't installed was the line was the wrong size. She said that in two days they will come by and with the correct line to complete the installation...well it never did happen and same excuse... I do have disabilities that make this task difficult and painful to do. Local church felt bad and they finished what Lowes could not do. read more

Do not leave your cart for 2 minutes. We just got back from Lowes. We have the cart piled high with stuff. While we were looking at fixtures, we turned out back on our cart for 2 minutes. I turn around and see an employee scanning my two fans. I said, "excuse me, what are you doing?" I thought this was abandoned he said. I said it's not please don't touch the cart. 1.5 hours later, the cart is piled high. We walked away from our cart for 3 minutes and it was gone. Some employee starting putting all our stuff back. The manager said the employee thought it was abandoned. How about waiting for a full 10 minutes before pushing shoppers carts away to restock those items. Lesson learned. Do NOT leave your cart by itself at LOWES. This trip turned out to be a HUGE waste of time. read more

I am only giving this review because of a young man in appliances named Brody. My husband and I had purchased a kitchen aid dishwasher, range and microwave. We received everything but the range and got the run around for the last few months. Our range finally came in and we had to purchase the line. Brody not only helped us, but he went above and beyond to make sure that our delivery was Set up, we had been promised a discount that never happened, he got manager approval on the spot and took care of it. Got approval to waive the haul away for the range when it wasn't added correctly the first time. I will continue to shop at Lowe's only because of Brody. Thank you!!! read more

Last Saturday I bought a refrigerator. I was so excited. It was on sale and they said they had it in stock. They even said they could deliver it the next day. I was so happy. I told them that they didn't need to deliver it until Friday. Friday comes and I did not get any text to let me know it was being delivered. Fortunately I put a second contact number and they texted my husband so at least we knew when they were coming. The fridge was the wrong color and dented. They lady from Lowe's said it comes like that. My question is this: How hard it is to look at the invoice for the correct color and how hard it is to look and see if the item is in stock. We were told that we had to wait another week because they did not have it in stock. So I cancelled my order and was on the phone for over 20 minutes trying to cancel my order and was told they couldn't cancel until they received the refrigerator back because we "refused " delivery. We do not have the wrong color fridge. Lowe's is ridiculous. I won't be back for a long time. read more

Walked in to the store on 12/10/17 and purchased a new refrigerator. Was due to be delivered the following day on 12/11/17. Fridge had significant damage to the door so we refused it. Rescheduled new delivery for the next day. Delivery drivers claimed they couldn't find the house and allegedly called us multiple times. When we finally contacted someone, they refused to deliver it. It's now 930 pm on 12/13/17. We had to call to ask when our delivery for Thursday (tomorrow) would be coming. They just told us they are unaware of a delivery for us. Lowes will be refunding our money as soon as they open tomorrow. I've never experienced such incompetence. We have had to rearrange our schedules too many times and this is absolutely unacceptable. read more

These are probably the slowest contractors around. 15months to complete an est 6week project for a master bathroom upgrade: complete demo, order and install new tube, shower, floor, countertops, fixtures and tiles (no walls or plumbing changes). The project schedule was blown 3wks in, due to an order mixup. Next, my inspections of the work site exposed substandard craftsmenship and poor solutions used to cover up tile and shower installation mistakes. After months of negotiations, Lowes agreed to demo and redo shower and tiles. The cost and est time to complete were on the high side of all the estimates I received; however, the customer satisfaction agreement was the best. Temecula store...Do not use The Millworks Department! We have been dealing with them since May and have heard every excuse in the book. New staff, new system, distribution, COVID...the bottom Line is they give you a delivery date and then no call/no show. They don't give you the courtesy of letting you know the dates have changed..:you have to call them, and good luck getting someone in the department to answer. The store manager was no help until we emailed the regional manager and then guess what?! Delivery scheduled for two days later. When the doors do come they are beat up and damaged. Not worth the money or the wait. The pint jobs were so bad we ordered the next few unpainted to just do the job ourselves, can't be much worse. We've returned two so far because we didn't wait 6 months to settle. Oh and you pay in full up front so good luck holding them accountable. Make sure you get a receipt and check it before you leave the store because the measurements to several doors were wrong on the invoice! read more

I purchased a quart of VELSPAR semi gloss interior which was highly recommended by there paint expert. I got to work. Prepped etc. Take a look at the photos the paint is falling apart and crumbling. I had a local painter come by and he said they sold you bad paint take it back. I also forwarded pictures to another well known painter he said the exact same thing. I proceeded to go to Lowe's and before going to customer confirmed with there paint expert and again bad paint. I had the receipt the empty quart because it's on my flaking away. I asked to speak to a supervisor and explain the god awful situation. Long story she told me "tough shit it needs to be at least 3/4 filled. Lowe's Temecula has the worst customer service no people skills and the supervisor was dumb as rocks. She told me to bring it up with the manufacturer, which I will. However, I will file a complaint with the FTC and send in a demand letter in prelude to filing suit in small claims court for the maximum amount allowed. Stay away from this place read more

This Xmas season, I bought a large lawn Xmas decoration from this Lowes....when I opened the box, there was a hole in it, and some parts were missing. Took it back for a refund. Then I bought another large Xmas decoration from the same store, and when I opened it, the support parts were incorrect for the item... a obviously would not work. Took it back and again got a refund. Told the clerk I had been buying stuff from this store for 17 years.....but no more! I am beyond upset! My refrigerator went out last Wednesday. I just had my hip replaced and was at my friends and families mercy to help me unload my refrigerator/freezer and take me shopping for a new one. I found one at Action Appliances on Ynez Rd in Temecula (they are great) however, they couldn't deliver until that Saturday. We went to Lowe's and they had one in stock that could be delivered the next day (Thursday). A couple hundred more but worth it because I could get it the next day... (I have medication that has to be refrigerated). NO delivery Thursday! Called the store, NO answer 3 times! Had to have someone come pick me up and drive me to the store...sorry, sorry, sorry, it will be delivered Friday. NO delivery Friday! Had to go back to the store because again, NO answer at the store! It will be delivered tomorrow (Saturday), the delivery company will call you today. NO call from the delivery company Friday or Saturday morning! BACK TO LOWE'S BECAUSE NO ONE TO TALK TO ON THE PHONE! My sales person Eddie looked into it (he was so good) came back and said that it was on the delivery truck and would be there this afternoon. Lo and behold at 4:30 I got my new refrigerator. After, having to throw away a lot of food because it had been days in coolers, and spending $38.00 in ice. IT'S NOT OVER!!! The freezer door is dented in two places, the lights don't work on the right side and 2 bins are cracked! Finally spoke to my salesperson, no more in stock or in the warehouse at that price, go on line and pick a new one. Again, I called the store to speak with him, transfers your call to no-where land! Not happy. Apparently Lowe's has come up with some change in their policy regarding military and veteran discounts. It used to be all I had to do was show my valid veteran ID card with my name and picture on it from the VA. Not anymore more. Now they do it by your phone number but you have to first go register at customer service which always has a long line. Not to mention I just waited in line to mKe my purchase. Sorry Lowe's but I'm not jumping through your hoops for the tiny discount. Not worth it. I would probably rate this store higher but I bought over $1,400 in paint. The HGTV Sherwin Williams Infinity brand and it did not perform. I primed before hand and used an airless sprayer. I can still see specks of white coming through the paint. Incredibly disappointed. I talked to them & all they said was sorry and they gave me the paint reps card. Like he's gonna do anything!!!
