    Calentado de chicharrón
    Karleni A.

Excellent place for a Brunch with friends, the food was delicious and the place transports you to Latin America, they have animals outside and a great atmosphere, the attention is very pleasant. I ordered the "calentado de chicharrón" and it was everything I expected, it was delicious and they serve a large portion. Pandebono's waffles were also very tasty.

I love this place! Especially outside. So many birds! Caged lorikeets and other varieties. Plus wild chickens. However right now it's too hot to be outside. My only complaint about being indoors is that the ceiling vents are condensating and dripping on my plate. The empanadas are delicious! Our waiter was happy and friendly.

LPCX Cafe, located near Seminole Heights in Tampa, has definitely become one of our family's favorite breakfast spots! It's an easy 10/10 for us! The service is great, the food is delicious, and everything comes out pretty quickly. The atmosphere is truly beautiful, making you feel like you're in the backyard of a local home in Colombia! So cozy, outdoorsy, and homey There is indoor seating is available, but the chickens roaming around the outdoor area really make it a unique experience, especially with little ones! This spot is definitely worth a visit! 6204 N Armenia Ave. Tampa, FL 33604 #WorthTheStop #LPCXCafe #TampaEats #tampafoodie

Come here for the amazing patio ambiance! The chickens clucking around, fountains flowing, greenery surrounding you- it's amazing . I enjoyed a large cup of cafe con leche- very good! The food was less impressive to me for the money- I ordered the avocado toast- the bread was soggy and it just didn't wow- the side salad was nice- pretty pricey for what it was. The service was very attentive and friendly. I will definitely go back and try a different menu item - that patio will bring me back for sure!

LPCX Cafe is fantastic! The staff is always friendly, welcoming, and attentive, which makes every visit enjoyable. They serve excellent coffee and delicious Colombian food, and everything I've tried has been great. One of my favorite things about this cafe is the beautiful outdoor patio. It's the perfect spot to relax, enjoy an amazing cup of coffee, and spend some time outside. I always look forward to coming here, and I'll definitely be back again soon!

Everything was amazing! I recommend reservations, especially if you want to sit outside! Food was amazing and service was excellent! It's an experience for sure!

This is my second visit to L.P.C.X. Café and while my first experience was the more impressive of the two, I'd still absolutely recommend checking it out with a caveat or two. First, the patio. It is genuinely one of the most beautiful outdoor dining spaces I've come across in Tampa... lush greenery, birds, chickens wandering around, and an all-around vibe that just makes you want to linger. On a sunny day, it is unmatched! My second visit fell on a cold and grey morning, and unfortunately the food followed suit... the arepa special (my go-to here) and the pandebono waffles both came out kinda cold, which took away from the experience a bit. I know what the food is capable of on a good day, so it was a little bit of a bummer. To be fair, my friend ordered the same arepa special and really enjoyed hers, so it may have just been mine! The flavors were still there either way. My boyfriend ordered the passion fruit juice (with milk)... I would say this was more like a smoothie than a juice, but it was so SO good. Definitely getting this again next time I come! He also had the pandebono benedict which was okay, though benedicts in general run rich and one-note for me personally... so take that note with a grain of salt depending on your preferences. First visit? Hot, fresh, delicious, gorgeous weather, stunning patio. I'd go back in a heartbeat on a sunny day and I think you should too... maybe just check the forecast first!

Don't let the outside fool you, LPCX Cafe has outdoor seating that is stunning and unique with a tropical atmosphere. It honestly feels like a whole different world, you forget you're even in Tampa! My friend and I went for breakfast. The service was very friendly and attentive, and the staff was knowledgeable with recommendations. Parking was ample, and seating was comfortable without feeling crowded. It's a very cozy space, great for catching up with family or friends. What I ordered: * Pandenono waffle ($9): a bit underwhelming, just served with syrup and felt pricey for only 4 pieces * Arepa special ($15): delicious, but the portion was very small and didn't feel worth it Overall, beautiful space and great vibe, but mixed feelings on value. I'd consider coming back for the atmosphere,

Loved LPCX Cafe! The food was great, staff super friendly, and the atmosphere is wonderful. Only friendly suggestions: add more fans to the outdoor patio (it was hot out there) and give the restrooms a quick check. It was also quite busy, so maybe bringing on a bit more staff during weekends would help keep things running smoothly for everyone. Overall, a fantastic experience. I'll be back!

I decided to treat myself to lunch. I arrived around lunchtime and was greeted and seated right away. The service was warm and welcoming; my server was incredibly sweet and helpful in answering my questions about the menu. I ordered the blackberry juice, Spanish latte, and bistec a caballo. Everything was delicious. The Spanish latte was easily one of the best I've had and as a self proclaimed coffee connoisseur, that's saying something lol. The steak dish was flavorful, well-seasoned, and the portion size was just right. Was able to save some for later. I sat outside on the patio, and it was such a vibe! Clean, beautifully decorated, and peaceful. You really can't beat the ambiance. If you're craving Colombian cuisine, friendly service, and a relaxed atmosphere, LPCX is the spot. I'll definitely be back!

I can't believe it has taken me this long to write a review for LPCX Café. This place is one of my absolute favorite weekday breakfast and brunch spots in Tampa. First things first -- the food is amazing. They offer a great selection of Colombian breakfast and lunch options, and many of the dishes are naturally gluten-free, which is always a plus. On this visit I ordered the Calentado with grilled steak and eggs over easy, served with a sweet arepa, and a Café con Leche. Everything was delicious and perfectly cooked. The steak was flavorful, the eggs were just right, and the calentado (rice and beans) made the whole plate hearty and comforting. My husband ordered the Desayuno Sencillo with sunny-side-up eggs, bacon, and the savory arepa -- simple, classic, and done really well. Speaking of coffee -- their Café con Leche is on point. Smooth, rich, and beautifully made. But what really makes this place special is the atmosphere. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, but unless it's raining, always choose outdoor dining. The moment you sit outside you feel like you've been transported somewhere else. There's lush greenery, music playing in the background, and even chickens and roosters wandering around while little birds sing nearby. It feels relaxed, vibrant, and completely unique. While I love coming on weekdays, don't expect it to be empty -- this hidden gem has plenty of weekday regulars who know exactly how good it is. I can only imagine weekends get pretty packed. If you're looking for authentic Colombian breakfast, great coffee, and a fun outdoor vibe, LPCX Café is definitely worth the visit.

Wonderful food, amazing vibes, and stellar service! We had an absolutely fantastic experience here. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm, welcoming, and deeply relaxing. The decor is really nice, and I loved that they have projectors showcasing sporting events, it adds such a great energy to the space. If you get the chance, you absolutely have to sit outside. Their outdoor patio area is beautiful and makes for a perfect dining setting. The entire staff was incredibly sweet and accommodating, but I have to give a special shoutout to our server, Melissa. She was so kind and patient, taking the time to thoroughly answer all of our questions about the menu. Everything we ordered was incredibly fresh and tasted great. I definitely recommend coming here to anyone looking for a hidden gem in Tampa.

Great place for breakfast and lunch. I love how you can sit outside, see some animals, and enjoy a large place to eat and enjoy! Service was very friendly.

I thought we would love it, but we ended up finding it just OK…read more This is a super popular spot. We came at about 9 AM on a Sunday and there was a 15 minute wait. A lot of people bring their children here and it makes sense that they're here early since children wake up early. They also have a really cute treasure box with prizes for the kids, so if I was here with my family, I probably would bump this up a star. However, I was here with my husband and our couple friend. The decor is beautiful. I love how bright and cheery all the decorations are. Parking can get difficult, it seems like they have just enough parking for the amount of people there. The food is what I found just OK. I got their yogurt bowl, which I guess I can't really expect to be wow'd by a yogurt bowl, but I found it to be fine. My options were limited since I don't eat pork and a majority of their meat is pork. They do have a chicken sausage, but looking at pictures. It looks like the casing may possibly be pork so I decided to avoid it just in case. I also got their cold brew, it didn't come with any cream or sweetener or anything to add. I probably should've asked for some, because I found the cold brew to just be OK. My husband got the chicken pot pie and said he expected more chicken in it. I think our overall feel of the food was it was fine, but not great. I won't run to come back here, but I also wouldn't be opposed to someone wanted to. I think that's the definition of three stars for me. Price is super reasonable, this meal will not break the bank.

Fair warning: this place has two personalities -- a restaurant side and a much louder dance-party side that share the same building. We opted for the restaurant side, which was surprisingly not busy despite the earliest reservation we could get being 7:30pm on a weeknight. The menu blends classic soul food (fried chicken, mac and cheese) with a strong New Orleans Creole influence -- gumbo, jambalaya, fried seafood, cornbread. Portions are enormous. We started with the deviled eggs ("D'Evils"), topped with fried chicken bites and lemon pepper dust -- excellent and surprisingly filling for just four halves. We also got the Nolia Clip, a vegan gumbo base loaded with fried shrimp, crabmeat, turkey sausage, and a full catfish filet -- essentially an entree-sized bowl on its own. For entrees, the fried chicken plate ("Let's Stay Together") was a standout -- moist chicken, crispy crust, great mac and cheese and collard greens, though the cornbread muffins were bland and watery-tasting. My jambalaya ("Burning Blues") turned out to be nearly identical in ingredients to the gumbo appetizer we'd already had, just a bit thicker and in a bigger portion -- worth knowing before you order both. We left with a full meal's worth of leftovers and zero room for dessert. Food quality was great across the board (minus the cornbread), and portions are a serious value. Service was the weak point -- slow to seat and slow table-side all night. Good pick if you're after soul food with Creole flair and don't mind a leisurely pace.

Delicious food with a lively atmosphere and welcoming staff - what more could you ask for?…read more I visited Oak and Ola for a birthday dinner and had an amazing time. Rather than trying to search for parking, we just paid $20 for the lot right nearby and it worked out great for us. We had a large group and our waiter, Zachary, was amazing. He had plenty of recommendations, anecdotes, stories, and jokes to keep everyone happy and full. He was definitely a highlight for all of us. We had a variety of drinks, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed them. I had the Sacred Empress and was so impressed with the balance of flavors - mostly sweet with a slight punch from the serrano cilantro simple syrup. It sounds funky but trust me on this! We also split a bottle of the Lagar De Costa Albariño, at the recommendation of our waiter, and we all loved it. For food, we started with the Lobster Ravioli, Truffle Frites, Crispy Pork Belly Bites, Crunch Love Caesar Salad, and Olives. All were devoured and I think the crowd favorites were the Lobster Ravioli (though expensive, $26 for 3) and the Pork Belly Bites. For mains, most people tended to get either the Steak Frites or the Gulf Fish Amandine (which was snapper). My steak and another at the table were both way overcooked on the first go around but they very quickly remade them (and the fries) and got them back to us in 5 minutes, perfectly cooked. It was a delicious and filling dish. The Gulf Fish Amandine was also really tasty, but it felt like it was missing something like a starch. It's a very simple and classic dish. The Pork Chop was also well loved amongst the table and many people wished they got it after trying a bite! For dessert, you absolutely have to get the Toffee Cake - it was everyone's favorite dessert. Super soft, warm, and comforting, plus that vanilla ice cream just took it to another level. We also enjoyed the Chocolate Mousse, and the free birthday dessert they kindly brought out for us. Overall, the restaurant is fun and lively, with an eclectic feel in the mismatched dining sets and decor. I really loved how it felt. It's definitely a nicer spot for a date or celebration, but worth it!

The Ahi tuna was absolutely delicious.
