I'm not happy with this place! I been eating here for 7 years, before it became ltk. I introduced myself when the ownership changed. I order the same thing every week on a regular basis. But today he acted like he didn't know me and wanted to charge me $3.99 more for exactly what I ordered last week! Not happy. They were very rude as well. Best crawfish in town! If you get garlic flavor, they are not shy with the garlic and I love that! The fried rice is amazing as well. Staff is friendly but not chatty, which for me is good enough. Great prices for simple boiled crawfish. I ordered some to go, flavor was decent but slightly over cooked. The lines were long, but once our order was placed, the crawfish and food came out quick. Crawfish here is ok. But good for the price. Just not enough flavor and the garlic is mushy. Ordered some last week and they were small but understandable since it's not in season anymore. I remember going to LSU and stopping to their location in Baton Rouge all during lent season. Still taste the same.. delicious and affordable! I always order the Cajun spicy crawfish as it is always juicy. I took off a star Bc the boiled shrimp are never consistent. First time I ordered shrimp it was fresh and easy to peel. Second time I ordered shrimp it tasted bland and was extremely difficult to peel that I gave up! I also don't like their potatoes as it tastes like it's been sitting in the crawfish water all day. So after two days straight on trying this place out I'm honestly still undecided. Other than how convenient it is to get boiled sea food to go, everything else about it is just, meh. The Po-boy is just dry and the lettuce looks like they scrapped it off a Micky D's cheese burger. The Crawfish , sausage or potato's had me in the bathroom on multiple accounts through the day. Staff is always friendly, prices are good and we have never had issues getting a sack! Crawfish are good size and all alive. If you are in the mood for crawfish/mudbugs this is an excellent place to go. Pricing and service were both excellent. And they serve them live if you want to cook them yourself. Since we discovered LTK a month ago, we have eaten there every week. The crawfish have been huge and the shrimp is much bigger than it's namesake.I'm not sure how long the giant crawfish can last into June but I will eat the meat in the class as long as it does. read more

To give a frame of reference BB's on white oak is my favorite crawfish in town. My son and I wanted to try a new place so came in on a Saturday. First it's self serve. No waiters so when you want more crawfish you get back in line. Second thing I found odd is how they serve the crawfish. We we're given 3 large stainless bowls and two bags. 1 bag was full of crawfish and one had our sausage and potatoes. I dumped everything in one of the bowls and used the other for shells. The crawfish were good. And if you need more seasoning they have it out for you for free. The garlic sauce was delicious. They are still very small. I blame that on the timing and not on the restaurant. The sausage was mediocre. Didn't care for it. The crawfish are 7 bucks a lb so I think considering they are the same price here and I like the atmosphere and service at bbs better we will be going back there. read more

The food is extremely good. Had the crawfish, snow crab, and some of the fish basket. Definitely will recommend this place to my family and friends. Only thing I was uneasy about was that they did not have any crab leg crackers so make sure to bring your own. And the service could've been a little better, they need to probably hire more staff. I visited the establishment and was not pleased.I ask to sample a crawfish and was told they do not offer this service.I politely brought a pound to try the crawfish.The crawfish had no flavor and it tasted as if they just boiled it in water with no season.The crawfish are big but not tasty.I lived in Louisiana were the other LTK is located and the crawfish are different.They also have scales in place where the customer is able to view the pounds given.Im not sure why this location is not doing this. read more
