Tried this for the first time a couple of weeks ago when my employer catered some of their food. It was really good so I decided to pick up their family meal tonight. I ordered on line and went and picked up. They are located in a very busy shopping center, parking is hard to get. Walked up and the food was ready. Lots of tables so you can go in to eat. I got their bbq beef, lemon pepper chicken, fried shrimp, with half rice half Mac salad. Everything was delicious. Oh the cabbage is under the meat. A couple of weeks ago I had their pork and chicken katsu, and that was good too. I like the fact that they have a variety to choose from. Salads, bowls, combos, mini meals, family meals. I will definitely be picking me up a salad for lunch. read more

Visited from out of the area and it was such a good meal. We decided to order in person after seeing the prices to order online and I'm glad we did. Significant savings to order in person but that may just be the platform they use. Anywhoo, food was delicious - we ordered pork, chicken katsu, teriyaki chicken and beef. One combo meal was enough for two people and it was so good. Rice and macaroni was on point. Friendly staff and the wait is a bit longer but not a deal breaker. Highly recommend! read more

The food was excellent and freshly made. You can watch the cooks prepare your meal. The also have a wonderful shave wither on interpretation. Almost as good as Matsamoto's" on Oahu. It is casual dining. The service was great as well You can eat in or take out and several companies that deliver. read more

The portion size is amazing the one plate is two meals for me. The katsu has got a nice crunch. I did the all rice : warm comforting and moist to survive a small reheating. The Beef is tender and not too sweet. It does not need any additional sauce. I will edit this review when i have gotten to the musubis. read more

I was just craving Hawaiian food and seen this place. I know the place was new so wanted to give it a try and honestly I'm glad I did. The food was outstanding and over exceeded my expectations. The price was good, the portion amounts were fantastic. I had the chicken katsu and bbq chicken plate. Also got an extra side of macaroni salad which was a great idea and spam Mesubi. The service was great the guy welcomed me in and treated me how a customer should be treated. The ambiance itself is nice inside not too big but also not small either. Definitely coming back for more soon. Definitely need to give this place a try trust me the food is amazing and you will not be disappointed! read more

We got a big family style meal. It did take a while but it was yummy. The cashier was obviously brand new and couldn't really answer many questions but wasn't afraid to get the answers for us. Went here originally wanting to check out another new restaurant nearby but didn't want to wait and was happy to have a second option that was on my radar as a check out soon place to eat as well. Per usual I was with my husband and he usually rushes me when we go to order so I didn't get to really check out the menu the way I wish I could have. I decided on the Kalua combo with Katsu chicken. I'm not a fan of Hawaiian macaroni salad so I got the veggies instead. I'm sad because I didn't even think to get the Loco Moco but that just means I'll have to come back. I was pleased with the friendly service, quick preparation of the food, and tastiness of each item. My chief complaint is that Katsu sauce was a little thin and not as flavorful as others I've tried but the Kalua pork was so good and flavorful and didn't need any additional sauce. The veggies and rice were cooked well and the portions were huge. I also got a canned Hawaiian beverage as my drink (passion/guava) and it was perfect and not too sweet. My Luau grill was just delivered promptly. Food was amazing! Great portions and very tasty . Kalbi beef was delicious and very generous in their meals. Macaroni salad and rice were awesome. The only suggestion for their menu, maybe adding a Chinese chicken salad. There other salads that looked appetizing but I was hoping for a different one. Keep up the great work. read more

So fresh and delicious! You can taste the quality in their dishes and all plates are reasonably priced. Portions are large (even the kids menu) and customer service is excellent. The chicken katsu is the way to go! Not greasy at all yet sooo crispy and juicy. Can't wait to visit again!! read more

Bigger portions compared to Ono but the food is much saltier. Even the teriyaki sauce is salty when it should be traditionally sweeter. The spam masubi doesn't have any sauce which made it mediocre. Chicken katsu and beef was alright but nothing special read more

This compared to Ono. Meat quality here is better, and the portions seem pretty good too. I wasn't crazy about the rice I got, was a bit dry but thankfully you can just pour sauce on it. Their sauce is not hot like Ono so expect cold or room temperature sauce being put on your food. Besides siracha they don't really have spicy options. We tried the bbq beef and the khalbi ribs. Wife enjoyed the macaroni salad. Last we got the spam masubi, nothing too special there, they do t put any said like Ono does so it was a bit plain and we had to put some on(not included). That can be taste preference so not going to dock them to much. Staff was friendly! And overall our experience was good. I would go to either depending on where I'm at. 3.9/5 read more

Katsu was not given with sauce. Cashier Dorylee said only duck sauce at the condiment bar. She said that's all it comes with. What Hawaiian place doesn't include the tonkatsu sauce?? Very disappointing read more

Went in a bit after lunch hour - not too busy few clients waiting for food Ordered couple dishes to go - ambience was nice and service was friendly Kalbi meal - portion was good beef was ok, a touch sweet. Macaroni salad was just standard and rice was nice and soft Loco Moco - the beef patties were dry & bland and the gravy was not enough for the meat and rice. Eggs were a bit overcooked Please note they do not ask how you want your eggs cooked For a good Loco moco the meat needs more flavor and not be overcooked, the gravy flavorful and plentiful, the eggs typically should be over easy (or should ask how the eggs should be cooked) Overall decent meal. Tried this place for take out and the flavor and portions were awesome I got the BBQ chicken and beef combo and spam musubi, my fiancé got the luau combo with chicken katsu and kahlua pork. Both were delicious and more food than either of us could eat. Will definitely be back. read more

Great fresh food for a good price. We tried a variety of the menu. Everything was delicious! Service was very friendly and fast. Food has an amazing flavor and taste. Service is so helpful and they greet you as soon as you walk in. The restaurant itself self is clean and the ambiance is chill with the music they play.
