Professional, fast, honest and comfortable. This has been my regular oil change place for the past couple of years, and I'm only now getting to a review because they were extra nice during my last oil change (saved me money that any other shop would have gladly taken from me). Simply put, they are honest, they are quick (always knock out the oil change during lunch hour with plenty of time to spare), and this is really important to me: They treat all of their customers with respect and deference, regardless of their gender or ethnicity: That's right, no talking down to women because they think they don't know anything about their cars. This is so refreshing, and all too uncommon when it comes to automotive stuff! People: don't go to Jiffy Lube or any of those places. They will always try to upsell you by saying you need a new filter, etc. The Lube Center does NONE of that. And if you do need a filter, they will show you what yours looks like and let you decide with no pressure. Finally, those people who are getting mad at this place because their car manufacturer recommends the more expensive synthetic oil simply don't understand that an oil change place has zero to do with that---You are taking out your outrage on the wrong people. Join a class action law suit against your car maker, not the guys who are just telling you what the car maker is saying you should put in your car. read more

Being tired of being completely robbed every time I tried a new mechanic or treated like I didn't know jack... I decided to try The Lube Center on a friend's recommendation. I'm so glad I did. Brent & Ron are so friendly and has never made to feel like I don't know squat just because I'm a girl, they've stayed late to check on something for me, they've never suggested additional services and have been completely honest with me regarding my Jeep. My hubby, local family and friends also now go there. They also know that I'm a busy mom and try to get whatever services my Jeep needs done as quickly as possible. Love! Love this place!! Was referred by a friend. Showed up same day for AC inspection (FREE). No appointment needed. I thought I was going to be there for a while but they inspected my car right away and it took them 10 minutes to tell me the diagnoses. They gave me a ride to my place (which they didn't have to do ) and even picked me back up from my place to get my car when it as ready. These gentleman were professional, patient, knowledgeable and kind to me. Very inexpensive too. I HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE GUYS! read more

They are friendly and they do oil changes fast, BUT they told me I needed front and rear brakes replaced. I took my vehicle somewhere else and they said only rear brakes were bad. Good for oil change, but not to be trusted with anything else apparently. read more

I had taken my car here before and had no problems but this last time was different. My car was shaking and it turned out to be the motor mounts. These guys first said it was idling too low and that it needed $600 worth of repair. Then after it was fixed they said it needs motor mounts but the shake is gone by 50%. The shake was the same. So I went somewhere else and it was the motor mounts. I don't think it needed the idle repairs. I will not be returning. read more

For many years I had a mom & pop-type place where I would get my oil changed and never went anywhere else as they were great. Then, about two years ago, they sold the place and it was never the same. I had given up hope that I would find another great place until yesterday. I found the Lube Center. They actually communicate superbly, really care, know what in the sam hill they are doing, etc., etc. I will never go anywhere else and sure hope the owner never sells the place. The lube center is SO honest! I went there expecting a lot of problems with my car and a lot of money I would have to spend. After a thorough investigation, Brent and his team said I just needed to get my rotors spun back at pep boys (pep boys didn't do a complete job the first time) and some new break pads. If I can give this place 10 stars I would. I have never been to an auto shop with such great customer service as this place. I made the mistake of buying a groupon for a cheap oil change somewhere else. I went to the location and the guy gave me the dirtiest look for stepping into his business. He rudely asks what I want. I ask for an oil change and he snaps back if I have an appointment. I tell him that I was told to come at this exact time. Then he rudely says he hasn't had his lunch and tells me to come back. I leave that place and quickly rush over to The Lube Center, regretting going somewhere else in the first place. When I pull up my car, a mechanic quickly walks up to me and asks very politely if I need an oil change. I tell him yes and he says, "You got it". I try to go back to my car to pull it up but he insists on pulling it up for me. They mention that my wipers are really old. I told them I had new ones in my trunk. They put the new ones on for me for free. My oil change gets done quickly and I'm out the door. I will never go to another place again!! read more

I took the car here with some brake problems, that other mechanics had quoted me for $400+ to fix, but these guys were completely honest and fixed what was wrong for about $125. This is a great garage and Ron is very friendly and honest! I was new to the area and a friend recommended this place. I needed a new timing belt as part of routine maintenance, and they recommended I get my water pump changed at the same time because it would be cheaper labor wise to do it all at once. Once they were inside they car they noticed my fan belt was cracking too and replaced it for only the cost of the belt...no extra labor! Ron even stayed open late for me so I could pick the car up after work. The next time I came in was for a unidentified check engine light. Classic situation where the car works fine when you drop it off at the garage, but won't start up once you try and drive it home! Ron looked the car over and ran some tests, when he didn't find anything out of the ordinary he didn't charge me anything until he found the problem. I ended up selling that car and went to Ron to get a few prospective cars inspected. He looked them over and pointed out things to me that I should request get fixed before I bought the car, and at no charge! I was able to physically point out these problems to the dealership and they said they would fix them before I bought the car. Thanks to Ron and the Lube Center I was able to buy a car with confidence and with a few less leaks that I would normally have. Dropped by Lube Center this morning to have my car oil changed based on the strong reviews posted below and had a great experience. Extremely friendly and courteous folks. The store is spotless and the waiting area is very comfortable furnished with a nice couch, magazines, fresh coffee, 6 free internet stations, lots of neat framed photos and posters, and a vintage phone booth complete with a free phone for customers and superman suit (really neat). No hard sell, no BS. Just honest, professional service with a smile. How refreshing. I'll never go back to the up-sell, coupon oil change centers. These guys have my business going forward. Nice people, a cool waiting area (coffee, computers, couch and stools), and a nice, efficient oil change. They also recommended a belt needed changing on my very old Toyota, and I agreed an ounce of prevention was needed. The newly installed belt was loose, however and squealed for the next couple weeks till I had time to bring it back in. They prioritized my car, owing to their mistake, and had me back out in ten minutes, belt no longer squealing. I definitely recommend these guys as fair and honest and reliable, and affordable. Took my 1991Volvo to these guys 'cause the check engine light went on. Brent said it was because one of the vacuum hoses was disconnected. They also fixed a faulty turn signal relay for me. I got out of there for 50 bucks! Unheard of! I took my car here because of the Yelp ratings, and my brother brings his Durango here as well. I'm glad I listened. I will always bring my car here. I called for a price quote and stated i already have parts. He asked where i had gotten the parts. When i told it it was a local chain store he said he has issues with their parts due to inferior materials and having to numerously replace the new parts. He then toll me what parts he would install and also said he would call back with price for labor and their OEM parts. He was extremely helpful!!! read more

I have been going to the Lube Center for years - literally. I started using their service when they first opened their doors at the old shop on Glenoaks and have been going to them ever since. They have always taken very good care of me, tell me what I need now, what can wait; they are honest and helpful. I get my oil changed every 3,000 miles but they always take a look at the other stuff and let me know what is going on under the hood (my car has almost 200,000 miles on it). I would not take my car to anyone else. read more

Good oil change. Nice people. Nice waiting area (coffee and computers with internet provided.) Both my trip odometers were reset afterwards, though. I don't know why, since an oil change shouldn't impact anything electronic. My old battery was still there so that hadn't been swapped out. *shrug* It's probably nothing, but that was odd. read more
