I love the idea of having parties at Lubo's. What better way to celebrate an event then to have a great space, good food and "no messy house". When I book an event I have always been informed of the 25% gratuity and understand it is because they bring in extra staff for the event. The staff is always attentive and the food great so I am more than delighted to leave an additional tip. If you like limp soggy pizza...this is your place. First 2 times we visited there the salad and pizza slices were great. The last 5 times we have struggled in trying to find out how the pizza slices went from great to limp and soggy. The staff tried to help but somewhere in the methods they use, they create limp and soggy pizza by the slice. The food here is great but last night i order a pizza to go. When i arrived i saw the bar and had a craving for a beer. So i sat at the bar , order a beer and decided to eat a couple slices from the pizza i order to go. When the waitress brought me a plate. She told me they normally don't let people eat from their to go pizza at their place. Basically i was told I can't eat food i ordered from them at their place while ordering alcohol too. I've experienced bits and pieces from the menu and everything I try becomes my favorite. The pasta is freshly made and has never been frozen. You can immediately tell the difference. My rating for this place has to do with the service since their pizza is fantastic. I had a coupon for Lil Ricci's and called in to make sure that they accepted it. The guy who answered the phone said that they did based on my explanation. When we got down there and ordered our beers, I showed the server the coupon and he said 'we don't accept those'. I explained that we had called in advance to check and he said 'sorry..we don't accept those'. We had been regulars at this place and were very disappointed that they would not honor the coupon since their staff told us that they'd accept it. We decided not to stay and went to the Lil Ricci's a little farther away. While this location is FAR closer to us, we will not go back because of their lack of integrity. read more

I've never ordered anything but pizza (and salad and apps) at Lil Ricci's, but their pizza is the best on this side of town in my opinion. Great sauce. Great crust. And they have green olives. I just love places that have green olives! A very friendly, fun, family type establishment. Feels very local and that's what we like about it. We eat in when we can but a pie to go is great, too, and they have great service. I feel you'll be hard pressed to find better pizza in this area and I'd venture to guess they are tastier than many pizza joints in Denver metro, too (although i can't say I've looked too hard). Well they changed the name, so we tried it again. It was take out this time, the same poor service as before. I was there waiting for the order the pizza came up but the guy who made it did no tell the cashier, so it sat, then when she realized it was there she had to ask the cook where the salads were that Ihad ordered. I left got thepizza home. Salads ok you cannot do too much to screw that up so it was good. The pizza has taken a turn for the worse. We're from Connecticut and was thrilled to have NY style pizza, so far from the East Coast. The white pizza and meat lovers were the die for. The atmost sphere was great and the staff was very friendly helping me with all my questions. The old style multiple game was a nice touch while waiting, but some of the graphics was shot. read more

I am generally not a big fan of pizza for many reasons. It's too greasy, the dough is tough, and the sauce is too tangy. Lubo's has it all down pat... I have found a whole new love for pizza after dining here. The crust is perfectly crispy yet chewy (thin crust), their sauce is just so, they put the perfect amount on the pies so its not soggy or dry. The service isn't exceptional, but I order take out most of the time so it doesn't really matter. I crave a pizza from here on a weekly basis. read more
