This place is amazing. I sadly moved to the Fresno area and have yet to find a deli that even comes close to comparing. The service is great, the food is wonderful. I highly suggest calling ahead, even if you're going to to dine in, as they can get really busy. I like that they also have a large selection of meats and breads to choose from. I went to this deli for the first time hoping it would be something besides ordinary. The sandwich was over priced for what you get. The sandwiches are mediocre, with basic deli meat that is not good,Basic bread, basic condiments. This deli is basic, if there is a museum for a basic sandwiches, this deli would be on a podium right in the middle of the museum floor. I recommend going to Michael's sourdough or Ray's deli if you're going to pay 1099 for a sandwich it better be worth it, this sandwich Definitely is not worth what you pay for it. read more

My husband got a ham and cheese and I got a salad as we usually do. It might have been the best lunch we've had in a long time. They tossed my salad even though it was in a to go container, they have rice crispy treats and pickles and all the little snacks you want for a quick and yummy deli style lunch. If you want a good sandwich that is moderately priced you have to come here! The bread is baked fresh, they have everything that you could possibly want on it, not to mention they have all the sides and what not that you could ask for as well. Fast and friendly mom and pop sandwich joint. Pretty much any kind of sandwich you can come up with. Avocado sandwich is the best vegetarian option. Lots of drinks to choose from. Also fruit, salads, trail mix to go with. High quality bread and ingredients. Exactly what I was looking for. Small inside with a nice open patio. Off to the side in a shopping center - easy to miss. Good parking and close to the freeway. Best sandwich spot in Petaluma. I recommend a turkey bacon avocado (tba) sandwich on sourdough baguette or the hot turkey, stuffing and cranberry sauce sandwich on fresh sourdough,amazing! They have a great selection of chips and drinks too. My friends and I love stopping here on our way to the beach or before road trips. The staff is always very friendly and the deli is always very clean. Be aware that around lunch time the line does get long but they crank those sandwiches out nonetheless. The added bonus of this place is they sell Pueblo Del Sol's salsa and dressing! The food is pricey but good. What keeps me from being a regular here is not the food but the service. I usually run on a very tight schedule and would really like it if I could pay for my order while it was being made. Apparently this is not an option. You MUST wait until your sandwich is wrapped and sitting there and only then will the staff member ring you up. I have requested that they ring me up while I wait and have been told (on two different occasions) that is not how they do it. So now I only go if I have the leisure to wait on them. read more

I love this place! The honey maple turkey and the Dutch crunch bread is amazing combo together if you're a turkey person. They are always so friendly when you go in there and I have to say for Deli place fast especially how busy they are. The only thing I would have to say that if I was the owner I would change is definitely get a second line because there's times that I call and the phone is busy for 30 minutes like yesterday. Other than that this place is amazing and the owner takes pride in his business just get a second line and then you guys would be the perfect deli place in town. So since my last review of this place, things have seemed to have changed drastically. I started finding their phone lines to be more and more busy; to the point that something just didn't seem right. I noticed that the phone was totally busy from 1130 AM until roughly 1230 PM or even later. It was becoming impossible to phone in an order ahead of time, which is a normal thing to do when you have limited time for your lunch break. After seeing lines literally out the door, it would be the obvious choice to phone ahead so you don't spend your entire break waiting in line just to place your order then back in line again waiting to pick it up and leave. After many failed attempts and a lot of frustration, I felt it was time to find out what the heck was going on. After confirmation from one of their staff, my worst fears were confirmed. They literally take the phone off the hook because they want to focus more on their in-house customers rather than the ones who phone ahead. Their website even clearly states "Phone Orders Welcome!", which is clearly a lie. I was basically told that my money and business were not good enough as long as I chose to phone ahead. This would now make a lot of sense as to why I would get a little attitude and rude looks the minute I told them I phoned my order in. I was told that they didn't want to be 'overwhelmed with phone calls', yet I've been in there when there were about 2-3 people eating and about 5-6 behind the counter working. I have never heard of a business that actually turns customers away just because they can't get their system in check. I would've been more than happy to copy and paste the exchange from Facebook, but they conveniently took it down after I stated that I would no longer be a customer there. The staff can be very rude and cold at times towards their customers. It's a shame that people like this can have such a negative impact or give such unequal care and service to all of their customers. I wouldn't go back to this place even if you paid me to. read more
