If we're going to spend a whopping $25 for take out pizza for 2, I fully expect them to get the order right. Nothing worse than getting home with the box to find pepperoni on the whole pizza when we ordered it on half. I hate pepperoni but at that point it was raining and we had worked all day and I wasn't about to drive back. I tried to pull it off but the cheese came off with it and the whole thing tasted like pepperoni anyway. Never again. If you want a good pizza try Hungry Hanks. read more

I really like this place. Every time i go there I get their deep dish pizza and its consistently delicious. My wife loves their breadsticks and i must say they are great as well. The service is good. Location is good. Its just a solid place that has never let us down so five stars it is. read more

Recommended by locals, but really not much to celebrate here. Next time I'll try the pizza, since that seems to be their main business at the carry out window. The food is ok, very average offerings, not much excitement in the taste, but good if you are in a hurry. The carry out selection of beer is very limited, so don't expect any high quality bottles. The service is friendly and efficient, and we didn't experience any problems during our visit. Ill give this place another try, and go for the pizza. read more

Lasagna lasagna lasagna. The best around in my humble opinion. Salad and bread consistently good. Chicken parm is ok. Soup good and pizza and calzones are good as well. Service is usually very good. We got the lasagna for a family event and everyone loved it! One of our faves. read more

My wife and I started dining at Lucci's when they first opened and everything was perfect. Food, service, prices decent. We would also order pizzas for takeout. Somewhere along the way, I noticed that the cheese on the pizzas were not the same so I was not sure if they changed it or I have heard that sometimes the supplier goes to a cheaper cheese. My point is that I am very particular about the cheese that is put on the pizza, the sauce is also important and of course fresh made dough. There are a lot of pizza places in the area so you have to get it right. I have seen many go out of business just because they didn't get it right. When the cheese was not right way back when, I went elsewhere for my pizza. But I decided eventually to give them another try since I remember how good all their food was when they opened. Well, I tried the pizza and Lucci's was back...everything was perfect. We eventually started dining there again and the food has been exceptional. I watch what others are eating at other tables and how to try that the next time because looks and then tastes so good after I try it. I am not sure why this next thing I noticed about their pizza is that if I have leftover pizza and I refrigerate and heat it again (even a couple days later), it tastes as good as the day I bought it. As far as service, they are sometimes (not often) without adequate numbers of helpers but they always are professional and hussle to make sure the food reaches you hot . I love their spaghetti, and other Italian dishes. The other night, my wife and I went to find and were told that there would be some delay in service (40 minutes) due to some unexpected calloffs. This gave us the option to stay and fine or find another place to eat. I appreciate honesty in all its forms. Well, apparently they called one of their other restaurants and they had sent a waitress (the one who greeted us at the door and told us about the dilemma they were in). Well, she seated us and my wife and I chatted for about 5 minutes fully expecting to wait 40 minutes, but this dynamo waitress got our drinks and was kind and engaging. The dining room was full of diners. She did it all. After she brought our drinks, she promptly took our orders and our food came hot to the table. Super tasty traditional italian red sauce type of place! The sauce on the pizza was a bit spicy for our four year old but he was more than happy with his kids plate of spaghetti with a giant meatball. Great Caesar salad and excellent pizza with a variety of good toppings. Dinner for four including an 8 slice pie, huge Caesar salad that easily fed 4, 1 kids pasta and a haf order of a fettucini Alfredo, 2 beers, 3 glasses of wine and one Milk for just 50 bucks. My wife and I ordered a take out (delivered) chicken caesar's salad. We were both sick for four days. This was the second time I've had food from their Penn Township location that I've gotten sick from. The first time I tried to reason it on anything else but the food....but I knew it was the food. We live close by and frequent Lucci's for dinner often. The food is consistently good with great service. The pasta Lucci is my favorite. They also have a fabulous happy hour week nights from 5-7pm with $2.75 glass of wine or well drinks. The only con is they don't have a grill large enough to prepare steak and other grilled menu options. read more

I especially like the Pasta Lucci and their pizza is one of the best around. They have daily menu specials and a wonderful happy hour on weeknights from 5-7pm. The only negative is that they do close by 10pm most evenings and they use very strong chemicals to clean at night, while guests are still dining. read more

We went for the tues spaghetti special for 6.99-----well by the end of the evening it was way more than the $6. We asked for a little extra sauce and the response was- they will charge for that!! Sorry- but you know they spill more than that!! What a joke for them!! When we ordered our spaghetti and meatballs- NO mention of being charged $3 and 4 dollars extra for meatballs and sausage- very unethical business practice-they just underhandedly add it to your bill. We waited 10 minutes before a waitress came to the hostess station and said "sit wherever you want. I'll get to you when I can." Okaay- we sat at one of the few cleaned tables and the same waitress came over and told us we couldn't sit there. Asked her where we should sit and she pointed to a table that was dirty. I asked if she could clean it and she walked off. We waited several more minutes before she came back with a rag grumbling that it wasn't dirty. At that point we left and I spoke to manager about wait staff. He just shrugged. Couldn't have cared less. Will never go back. We've encountered rude staff here before. We have eaten at Lucci's many times. The food is always decent. The service on May 25 was horrible. It actually ruined our evening. First it took over 20 minutes for our order to be taken. There were only 2 other tables {6 people}. We had 6 at our table. Three of us were served our meal and the other 3 had to wait more than 15 minutes. If someone's meal was going to take longer why serve the others? Reading the reviews I see that a spinach pizza takes long, I think someone had that, but what about the Italian hoagie or the chicken parm? We were not told that the pizza would take so long. Very slow at drink refills (I'm talking beer) and the coffee we ordered never arrived. Very disappointed. read more

Buyer Beware!!! We have ordered here a few times and liked it. When we ate in the server was very nice but we just ordered for delivery. We got their prices from their online menu which apparently is incorrect. The difference in price was about $5 which is considerable for pizza and cheese sticks! When I called, they said the website is not their website anymore and have had several complaints but can't take down the old site!?!?! When I asked to talk to the manager he was rude and said he would tell the driver to give me you $5's and hung up. My husband called back and cancelled our order and we aren't ever ordering from them again! Maybe management should learn how to run their website (which is not so complicated in this day and age) and learn how to treat people better! read more

Have tried Lucci's a few times, food is generally good but you never know what kind of service you will get! My wife and I stopped in last night around 6:30 for dinner. We decided to sit at a high top in the bar area. There were 4 people at the bar and we were the second table to be occupied. We waited over 5 minutes to at least order a drink. Not once did anybody come to take our order. Another customer came in sat down at a table in the bar area and after a few minutes the bartender went over and took there drink order. Never even acknowledging we were there. After joking around with some of the other waitreses they finally got their drinks at which time she went back behind the bar again not even acknowledging we were there and she definatly saw us sitting there. At that point we got up and left and will not be back ! read more

I have ate many times at Lucci's and the food is great. Service I agree could use some work. I also work in the food industry and I know that a person can not please everyone.
