Recently, my nail tech of 3 years left for San Francisco Theres been a lot of trial and error looking around for a replacement tech but I think I've found my new go-to at Luchic!! I'm pretty picky and I love to do nail art like this so when Henry did this set for me in ONE hour with perfect execution, I was very impressed. I can't wait to go back :) They are clean, efficient, and professional. You can also make appointments online!

I walked in asking for the best Technician to take care of my nails. As I'm really picky. He was wonderful understanding what I wanted and took care of both my hands and feet. I had a gel x manicure and was on the fence about sticking with gel x or removing it and getting regular gel. After talking it over, I don't really understand what the tech ended up giving me. I got some kind of gel refill, but my nails look sooo thick, like giant square blocks. Work was unfortunately very sloppy - the cuticles are uneven and messy, and my nails are wider at the top than at the base. You can even see my natural nails peeking out from under the gel. Worst of all, my tech was on the phone the whole time. I will not be returning

Walked in for a pedicure. Was greeted by friendly staff. Basic pedicure was $25 which was great and they didn't charge me more for being male. Offered me water, soda and champagne. The place was clean, bathroom was clean and the pedicure was amazing. Tara took great care of me and made sure I was comfortable at all times.

My first time coming here and the placed looks nice, but service was not the best. Emma did my nails and cut me with the nail file. It doesnt look like much but it hurts really bad. I got a gel X and the french tips are messy, crooked, and overall doesn't look sharp. There were also pieces of lint stuck in the polish. After I paid, i looked at it in the sunlight and saw that the nails have sooo many air bubbles and the surface was bumpy and not smooth. This was frustrating because the service was very slow and i had already been there for over 2 hours! I didn't want to stay any longer but I went back in to have it fixed, and there were still bubbles in the nails. Please see the pics for reference... Will not be going back.

Finally found my new go-to spot for nails since I've recently moved to the area. My manicurist is Nina, she always kills it and tolerates my pickiness with it comes to shaping/filing. I knocked off a star because every single time I come in, I always have to wait despite making an appointment...I really wish they would be more upfront about timing and not stack appointments on top of each other especially since most people are busy or are on some sort of schedule for the day. I consistently wait at least 15-30 min past my appointment time. Otherwise, love coming here and they're very welcoming read more

My new favorite spot to do mani pedi .. I love this place because they understand what I want and Kim my mani pedi lady is very attentive and detail, I'm glad there's one nice place that actually know what I want especially for my pedicure issues as I have broken nail due to accident and need extra care. Currently in pain from getting my nails done here. A man named Sam had my nails bleeding and wouldn't even clean them with alcohol (Gross). I had to get up and do it myself. On top of that he had little to no technique and was so rough with my fingers, using the nail file on my skin as well as his nails to go under my nails and make direct contact with the open wounds he created (disgusting). I wish I just left because that was the worst experience I've ever had and the most unsanitary. My nails are still bleeding... read more

Wow! I needed to find a place I could trust on a short notice to do my nails for my wedding and my girls. I looked for spots with 5 star reviews in the Hollywood area. I booked online the night before, to come in at 10am next morning when they open, and was nervous if they would have availability and able to accommodate all of us. Turns out, I got a text early that morning to confirm the time, number of details and services, and sure enough, they delivered. We were all very happy, even my auntie who first just asked for a foot massage, but then decided to get her toe nails painted. I got compliments of my nails left and right. Only note for the future, would be that if you want anything other than basic, being good quality photos of what you would like as I ended up spending a lot of time on Google finding examples as didn't see what I wanted on their website or where ever they had me look. Called last minute for a pedicure they were able to get me when I requested. Street parking was easy. It was a quiet evening inside. Very bright and clean. I'm so happy I found this nail salon!! They recently opened five months ago, and what a gem. Just went today to go in for a gel x manicure and couldn't be happier. I been going to this place for some time even took my boyfriend there one day to take care of him. They do have great service but today it was horrible! The lady immediately just started clipping my toenails any kind of way without asking me how I wanted my manicure. She went so low on my toenails my big toe is now throbbing! While scrubbing my feet she drop the sponge on the floor picked it back up and continued scrubbing. I was in such a disbelief that happened and also disgusted. I just went to Luchic for the first time yesterday and I will absolutely be returning!!! They were all so sweet, really made you feel special, and were very clearly invested in your nails. First, I didn't have any change for the parking meter and it wasn't accepting my credit card, so without me asking, they ran out and put a dollar into my meter for me. Then, I talked to them about what I wanted to get; they were attentive and worked with me to figure out exactly what I need. I got a regular spa pedicure and a gel x manicure with a special design. Nina did my manicure and she did AMAZING. She is incredibly talented!!! The salon is clean, they play fun music, and they offer a nice selection of drinks. I didn't ask for anything but the girls next to me asked for coconut water that they brought out to them in cute little champagne glasses lol! read more

i am so upset to leave bad reviews but i just walked out with a "touch up" and the nails were worse than before I walked in. My chrome nails started chipping after 3 days so I called and they were nice and said they could fix for me. See attached pics for "fixed" nails. (first pic was the original chrome shade). It's the wrong shade of silver chrome and on top of that it's really messy and ugly. I didn't want her to redo it coz i didn't want my nails to be put thru the whole process again coz they are already fragile. I'm upset because this is my 3rd time here and I've had good experiences prior, but this was really poorly done. read more

My new favorite nail place. I'm an LA local, 10+ years living here, and have tried numerous nail spots in the surrounding area. My main problems with others in the past, have been being too rough with my hands, where my cuticles bleed, also not presenting with good customer service. You feel these things as a customer, and when I want to go get my nails done, I am expecting a relaxing, and pleasant experience. I am so relieved that this is the new spot in town. I have gotten my nails done here twice now and both times the salon was extremely clean, pleasant and relaxing. I was offered a beverage, champagne Or mimosa, both times & my nails came out fantastic. Not every salon does dip manicures or designs, but they kill it on both. Last time, my manicure lasted over 4 weeks with no chips or anything. Vivian is the absolute best at nails and pleasant to be around couldn't recommend this place enough. read more

She was super sweet and helpful! Nina did my gel x design, I showed her a picture and she delivered!! Came with an appointment from Booksy, ( was about 10 minutes late with traffic) and was welcomed and helped immediately. The staff is super kind and attentive. Not to mention the store itself was very clean and pretty. It was my first visit but surely not my last, such a great relaxing environment and great nails and nail art! 10/10 recommend! Last night, not even a week since I got my full set my index finger broke off and I had to glue it back on with nail glue. I got my nails done March 6, broke by March 12 -- 6 days. Probably won't be back. Everyone was nice but I need my nails to hold up at leaaaaaaaast a week before my nails start breaking and looking funky, we pay too much money for half ass jobs. There are plenty of salons that value their customers and appreciate the opportunity to earn their business.

She hangs up, continues my nails and then she gets ANOTHER call. This time she just randomly stands up and runs to take it in the back room. Listen, things happen, but I knew this wasn't an emergency...she had just told me it's a package delivery. She left me waiting for, I kid you not, ~5 minutes (probably longer but let's just say 5), no explanation, no nothing. When she comes back, I say that if it's an emergency then I can wait for another technician so she can handle whatever she needs. She apologies and goes back to my nails, thankfully she didn't get up again but the finished product was HORRENDOUS on top of everything! My nails are so scratched and dry! I was really hoping to have a good experience as I'm looking for a new nail salon in the area but this was just unacceptable.

Of course, I turned to Yelp for the scoop and zeroed in on Ms. Glen's Therapeutic Manicures & Pedicures. I finally got a chance to go see Ms. Glen and it was everything I wanted and more. It was relaxing (I fell asleep)! It was restorative! My feet felt and looked healthy and cared for. I didn't get polished which is great because I have been wanting to go natural for a while to let my nails breathe and focus on what's really happening with my toe nail health. So may things I loved (in no particular order): - Very communicative from the appointment (via phone) to the confirmation and directions (via text) - Ms. Glen greeted me at the door - The studio smells divine (really sets the tranquil mood) - The studio was intimate (just me - yay) - The space was very clean (I am a stickler for clean) - There was a complimentary water waiting on me - Ms. Glen has developed her own techniques and products which speaks to her dedication and specialization (I love people who are passionate about what they do!) - Every step of the treatment was appreciated! (very detailed, very attentive, think - pampering your feet from the in-depth massage to the parrafin to the soaks to the grooming and much much more) - I got socks! This was such a special and much needed last step that I never knew I needed. It made my feet more comfortable and protected after such a beautiful treatment. She even asked me my size. How's that for customer service! - Now this one may seem trivial but I never had to hold my feet up during the treatment unless I was transitioning from the bowl to a towel. I do not like having to do that while someone attends to the bottom of my feel or heels. Ms. Glen has it worked out where I can truly relax the whole time. I also left with one of Ms. Glen's therapeutic hand and foot oils in Lemon. She makes the oils herself! It smells so good and leaves a refreshing but not overpowering scent. It feels good oiling my feet every night. Like another reviewer said, this is not your run of the mill pedicure shop. This is a therapeutic service that is worth every penny. My goal is to make this a regular treatment. If my feet are healthy, I am healthier! Thanks Ms. Glen for such a wonderful experience! I'll be back. If your feet are in need of TLC, renewal and restoration, Ms. Glen has a carefully curated service that will leave your feet feeling brand new. I had recently purchased a soap that helps with skin discoloration. It hasn't been making any improvement in the uneven skin tone and dark marks on my feet. Turns out I just needed an appointment with Ms. Glen. The exfoliation she provided literally rubbed away 15 years from my feet. My dry scratchy heels were left supple and smooth and the calloused areas were left soft. Had I known what I was in store for I would have taken before and after pictures. She even provided socks for me to leave in, to seal in the moisture. My favorite part hands down was the massage. She kneaded into these tired soles, and I needed that! I paid a little more than the price listed (which she does quote as a base price) but she also spent almost 2x the amount of time listed. My Fiancé noticed the difference in appearance and feel immediately. I intentionally waited until 24 hours+ had passed to write this review, wanting to see if my feet would feel just as nice. THEY DO!! Ms. Glen definitely puts pride in her work and I love how she checked in throughout the process to ensure I was satisfied along the way. I recommend her service to anyone looking to give their feet a more youthful feel and look. And if your feet have severe issues that might keep you from visiting open public salons, her private suite will help you feel comfortable and secure. Right before I left, Ms. Glen threw in a bottle of her therapeutic hand & foot oil once she saw how dry my hands were. I had discussed my upcoming nuptials with her and she wanted to make sure my hands moisturized properly for my big day, even providing a demonstration on proper application. Ms. Glen is a gem!

I trusted the front desk staff to guide me, and was quoted $80 for Gel-X, builder gel removal, and French tip. At my appointment on Friday 7/18, I was unexpectedly charged $110! I was told the card on file couldn't be used for the service--only for late fees or no-shows--which made no sense. If the salon can charge the card for penalties, why not for the actual service being provided? This was especially frustrating because the appointment was a gift for a huge accomplishment of mine, from my mother, so of course I didn't have the physical card with me. On top of that I was also charged extra for nail length without warning, and billed twice for polish: $20 for gel color and $15 for French tip, even though I only received 1 design; french tip. When I asked for clarification, staff just pointed to the online pricing--but I booked in person to avoid that confusion. The experience felt misleading. I intentionally came in person to avoid confusion and relied on the staff to guide me accurately. Unfortunately, that did not happen. I would not recommend this salon to anyone. If you're considering booking here, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere for more transparent and customer-friendly service.

I sent a message to this nail salon on IG hoping to rectify this privately, but was completely ignored - so here it goes. My manicure was awful - I said something at the time because any other time my nails are done they are buffed & shiny. The surface of my nails were totally scratched up and I was told "this is the buff." It wasn't - it seemed as though they were in a rush to get to the next client. Instead a clear coat was tossed on to try and hide the scratched surface. I was so aggravated at the time I just wanted to leave, but reflecting on it I can't believe I spent $63 on such poor work when I can get the same service done at Lush nails for $40 and actually get a good manicure. Today, on vacation - I got my next manicure. The nail technician was appalled by the condition of my nails - she said let me guess someone tried to use a drill on you for a manicure? I said yes! To which she said this was done by someone who had no idea what they were doing & actually could have potentially damaged my nails permanently. DO NOT go here - they just want your $$$. read more

I ended up picking a very light natural color, and the lady made sure that she checked in with me that it looked almost clear, and I told her that I liked it and she put an extra layer for me just to have a little tint of color I have not been to a nail salon in a very long time and I usually get cuts and little necks that hurt for a long time and I did not have that issue here at all. It was all dry manicure and pedicure, but the lady was very gentle with the tools. I am looking forward to coming back to the salon again.

I also kept asking for the acrylic to be thinner, but every time I asked they acted annoyed, so eventually I just gave up. The nails ended up super thick and bulky anyway. I asked for a milky white color on both hands and feet and somehow left with NEON white instead... and by the second day they were already turning yellow. Then the payment situation annoyed me even more. I paid for my manicure and pedicure separately on two different cards. When I walked in, they told me the toes (INCLUDING acrylics on the big toes) would be $30, but when it was time to pay it suddenly became $40. At that point I was already over it, so I just said okay. For the first payment (manicure), I told them to add a $5 tip. Honestly I didn't even want to tip because the work was SO bad, but I was still trying to be nice and leave both ladies $5 each. Somehow she added $10 instead of $5 without even asking me to the pedicure charge. The experience and the work were both so disappointing that I didn't even want to go back and have them fix anything. BY THE WAY I literally got the nastiest little infection on the side of my nail where she cut me..... I got my nails done April 21st! It is now may 11th and this is the nail now (notice how the acrylic is off? I was too embarrassed to go to another salon to take it off so I had to do it myself)

They've only been open 3 months, but the setup is really polished. Pedicure area gets bonus points for sturdy disposable liners, not those sad plastic bags most places use. Clean and secure. Prices are reasonable, and Vanessa did a great pedicure: careful, detailed, and really good at what she does. Not the best morning, but walking in here definitely turned the day around.
