There were very few places open for breakfast on our way skiing on a Monday non holiday. This was on our way to Gore. Service was friendly, and quick. The coffee was great. Food was typical dinner.

Cute hometown diner where everyone knows everyone, except me because I don't live there. Super friendly staff! They are Covid compliant so you feel safe and can enjoy your meal. Their menu is big and typical for a diner. All the usuals from breakfast to dinner. I got a cup of the cream of mushroom soup and a BLT (comes with a side of chips). The soup was really good and hot on a cold day. The BLT was chock full of bacon and fresh shredded lettuce and tomatoes on hearty white toast. It definitely hit the spot for me as I continued on my day trip. A nice place to stop outside of Lake George in Warrensburg on your way through to wherever you're going! There's a pokestop there too!

Quintessential road side cafe with lots of options for breakfast. Our friendly waitress made up for the less than friendly/curt server who greeted us with barely a nod toward a table. I had steak and eggs - farm fresh eggs and flavorful 6 oz strip. Server asked how I like it and I said medium rare - got more medium well but was still full of flavor. Home fries pure and simple fresh potatoes and a little piece onion here and there - we like it nice and browned as it was - but easier on the salt please! My husband was very happy with his bacon, mushroom Swiss omelet. Cleaned his plate. Great value for the $. Great for families.

Three-egg omelette with spinach, tomatoes, mushrooms and feta cheese.

Brunch options were plenty for a small but tasty restaurant. There was an omelet table, pasta, roast beef, ham and plenty of other options. The fruit cream cheese stuffed blintzes were to die for !!! There is a bar with lots of on taps, a garden style dining area and a traditional dining area, all beautifully restored. Stop in you won't be disappointed.

That's about all the good I can say about this place. At this price point you would expect professional wait staff... Our dishes came out a couple at a time. Ive had much better food from diners and other places that don't cost nearly as much. Their prices position themselves as upscale but it is far from it. Short order cooks could do better. Chicken Marsala was two small nuggets of chicken over a large amount of pasta. My aunt said it tasted like they poured the Marsala over it instead of cooking with it. I got the pumpkin and apple risotto. This was one huge bowl of Risotto. Like getting a bowl of porridge. It was supposed to have diced pumpkin, Carmelized apples, spinach, julienne vegetables and pecans (I think). None of that was present. I was told it was blended in.... Really? It was like having a big bowl of risotto for your dinner and did not at all resemble what was described on the menu. I sent it back and got a side salad with ranch dressing. How could you ruin that? Well it was heavily salted, that's how. My husband got the Turkey and that too tasted overly salty . Don't mind spending money on great food but this was atrocious. Only one person liked their dish which was the crab cake. Can't even fathom how they stay in business.

I worked with Kat, who was very helpful in putting it all together. We were able to dine Sat night of a long weekend, although we were asked to come before 5pm, to avoid prime dinner time. Kat had me send our order ahead of time, which was a great idea so there was little to no wait. We sat at a long table in the front outdoor area, distanced from other tables. The wait service was excellent; our waitress came several times to check on us and our food and drinks came quickly. She even helped us take a group photo in front of the place! My only qualm would be the menu - it was a bit limited, and a few items were discontinued - but Kat was able to modify and make things work for us. Considering how large a group we were, I was impressed how smoothly everything went. Had a good experience and would highly recommend!

They're clearly coasting because they were on Food Network once or twice. They don't honor the signs that they have out front. (Early Dine and Happy Hour) It's very misleading. I made the owner aware of this, he gave some BS excuse that he "couldn't afford to keep doing it" but he would take them down. It's been well over a year since, and he never did.
