I feel like it was missing something (maybe a sauce of some sort to cut down on the chewiness of the bread). This would've made it excellent. We also got the ube sugar cookie which was fantastic! Neutrals: They have coke products and they're new, not even a year in. Neutral Criticisms: Only one door is unlocked (or at least one was when I went). Edit: Owner said a whole spiel about the door dragging being false but the point is the door is heavy and it did drag, and the other one was locked. Not accommodating to people who may have issues with pushing heavy things. Nothing is labeled. Not in their display case, not in the section where they create your salad/sandwich. I asked what was in their tiny pastries case and the only worker who was out in front of house took a good few minutes explaining each item to the point where I didn't even want any of them. Label your items! Negatives: The menu flyers have all the prices blacked out with marker, because they obviously raised their prices compared to when they opened less than a year ago. It's tacky! And the fixture menus they have on the walls (Which are all in different styles so you can tell when they added sections in) also have price increases, but the worst part is that they're so cheaply covered you can blatantly see that they raised their prices by SEVERAL DOLLARS. Like, you'll have a big sign saying "6.95" but there's a cheap, small "8" sticker on top of the 6 so I know you raised it by $2. Also, their cans of soda cost $2 each. Plus city tax. So if you can get a bottle from a vending machine for the same price, do so. And last time I was there, I got a few of their pastries. Edit: I thought that They're buying them from some restaurant store and just heating them up. But the owner commented that they're not. That's my mistake, I just thought they were greasy and tasted old and not handmade in store, but if you want me to focus on product quality I'm glad to edit my review to focus on that. They're not worth the money. Especially with the tacky price raising. Also, just for clarification, if your desserts are actually made in Greece, to be able to have them here in America and not be stale/rotten, they were obviously frozen for shipment. Which means you bought them. Just because it says on the box made in Greece means nothing. Box pasta says made in Italy, but it's still box pasta. Also Edit: if you want me to focus on cleanliness, sure. On my way out, I did notice there were a couple tables with left behind dishes/trash from previous customers. I don't know how quick you are to clean, but seeing as the building was empty except for two two-tops eating and the mess wasn't bussed yet, I didn't think cleanliness was a priority. I stand by my review to be as accurate as I observed during my time. Just because you don't like a negative review with honest criticism doesn't make your place any better.
