Me and my kids came to visit we were treated very nicely the staff were sweet and kind and patient with us. The food was hot and replenished often and this was on a slow day maybe 10 people total in the business. Every area was filled and available.

After being seated within a few feet (less than 6) from the ice cream, we had a big come out into the table. We notified the server who proceeded to smash the bug on the table and tell us it wasn't a big deal. After they had a little conference about what to do , the lady came back offering a discount . We refused to pay and promptly left . The family behind us who had just played food also overheard what was happening and left at the same time . Health dept will be notified . This is gross .

The place offers a nice range of delicious food. I like dining here. The employees are always welcoming, pricing is fair and the place is always neat.

The teriyaki chicken on a stick wasn't the most flavorful we've had but it wasn't bad I've just had better.

But step inside the door, and you've entered an Asian teahouse that's welcoming and cheery. The walls are painted a bright mint green, with paintings of herbs and an entire wall of customers' photos celebrating their birthdays. The place is open and airy and the tables are spaced well so that one is dining in a communal place but can still carry on a conversation in some privacy. Shelly and Lin-Lin were our servers, and they were AMAZING! Shelly greeted us and was a most hospitable hostess; when we asked for a table nearer the windows, she was happy to oblige. Both Shelly and Lin-Lin guided us through the menu, answering our questions and giving us thoughtful recommendations for food and drink choices. Our meals were EXQUISITE! My friend had the Chrisnana roll and I had the lunch special of two rolls with onion soup. Both were plated beautifully; we took photos because they were utterly charming! The Chrisnana roll was delicious; the banana was surprising but melded with the savory sushi flavors. My California roll was a perfect blend of crab, avocado and cucumber wrapped in perfectly-cooked rice. And my Sweet Potato roll was mouth-wateringly delectable! There was a crisp topping on the roll which perfectly complemented the sweet smoothness of the potato filling. Both meals were reasonably priced and served quickly. When my friend and I lingered to talk, both Shelly and Lin-Lin checked on us to ensure we had everything we needed, but we never felt rushed to leave. They were so friendly and genuinely happy to have us join them at the restaurant--it was such a warm and welcoming experience! We'll definitely be back, and we'll bring more friends! Thank you so much for a delightful time!

The miso soup had an extremely strong fishy taste and was not edible. After a few bites, I could not continue eating it. The Rainbow Roll and Shrimp Tempura Roll were bland and lacked the fresh flavor and quality I expect from sushi. The fish did not seem particularly fresh, and the overall meal felt underwhelming. The delivery packaging was also not very secure, which added to the disappointment. Freshness and flavor are essential when it comes to sushi, and unfortunately this meal fell far short of expectations. Based on this experience, I will not be ordering from this restaurant again.

It bums be out too because at one point I felt the fried rice was one of my favorites, now it is just dry and bland. The teriyaki chicken was good, no complaints there, but I would like to be able to have a bite with just fried rice and not feel like it still needs something. Service was good. Maybe a little pushy on the water refills. It's like they saw us taking pictures and were giving us reviewer treatment. I'm not saying that is the case, but I felt it was forced and awkward regardless. Regarding the insides, there is a small and quiet sushi side, and the loud hibachi inside. It has the kitschy but endearing japanese asian aesthetic and is usually clean and well kept. Salad was sweet and good. Soup was served to us warm, not hot. Drinks were pretty tasty, I prefer their Geisha over the Mai Tai.

The salad was yummy, but I didn't care for the soup--it was lukewarm rather than hot. The fried rice and teriyaki chicken were a little dry, but the shrimp was really good. Our cook was more focused on just cooking rather than performing, which was a little disappointing since the hibachi show is part of the fun experience. The service was very attentive--my water was never empty, which I loved as someone who drinks a lot of water at restaurants. However, it was almost too attentive, as the server would refill it before it even got halfway down and would come over very abruptly. I still had a good time, but I'm not sure I'd rush back. The prices are pretty high for the quality of food, and I'm sure there are better hibachi options out there.

My personal lineup never changes. The Lion King roll is a must. It's warm, flavorful, and just melts together perfectly. The Yellowtail Serrano is super fresh with a nice little kick, and the Hawaiian roll adds that slightly sweet balance that rounds everything out. And the service? Always 10/10. The staff is consistently attentive, friendly, and keeps everything flowing without making you feel rushed. The vibe is fun but still relaxed enough for a casual night out, whether you're meeting friends or just want a good sushi fix. Definitely one of my favorite regular spots downtown.

I got there at 5:50pm last night, sat at the sushi bar ordering salmon rolls, soup, and hot sake. The sake takes a long time to drink, and I was trying to pace myself, but every five minutes "do you need anything?" Or "can I take your plate?" From the server. He started cleaning right next to me, seemed very clear he was ready for me to leave, and I was just quietly sitting by myself at the sushi bar. By 6:47, less than an hour, all my plates were cleared and I'd paid even though I wasn't completely done (just was tired of getting bugged constantly). I still had my sake left and was trying to work through it as fast as I could, but the guy kept hovering over me, so I ended up leaving a good bit of it still behind. Mama raised me NEVER to tip less than 20%, but I gave about 17% since I could not fully enjoy my lovely meal. I love sushi, but if I do get from here again, I'll just order on Uber Eats. Sad, because I really liked the place!
