This is our go to Chinese place. I love that they finally deliver to the house it comes in handy on the nights when I don't feel like going out and picking it up. I have tried numerous places closer to the house but none compare to Lucky China. The portions are big and the food is always fresh. They are so kind they usually give us something free like potstickers or egg rolls which is greatly appreciated. My go to is sesame beef, beef fried rice, Hong Kong style noodles, sweet and sour shrimp, combo platter, fried wontons and combo platter. ( see phots). Parking can be a challenge at times as they share a parking lot with a few other businesses and the Starbucks drive thru runs right behind the restaurant. cvs is on the corner so if you see cvs and the Starbucks your in the right place just go to the back of the building and you will see the restaurant. They only have seating for 25 people, so not ideal for large groups. But if your in the area and are craving Chinese food this is your place up won't be disappointed. And they might even deliver to you house which is a bonus. read more

My favorite spot for American Chinese. It is not going to rock your world, but it is clean and reliable when you have a craving. The prices have raised a little over the past two years, but the owner almost always throws in some spring rolls or rangoons for free when you order. I miss the lunch special that came with a drink and spring roll. The dinner portion is more cost efficient now. Their pamphlets in store come with coupons inside. I usually order orange chicken but ask for white meat. The owner is really sweet to always do it for us. They fry it like sweet and sour chicken but put orange sauce on it. We don't order anywhere else now. I also love their lo mein. It's pretty standard, nothing crazy, but very garlicky and yummy. Spring rolls are alright. The rangoons are their best appetizer. read more

I came here to try out this place since it had great reviews and was craving Chinese food. Unfortunately this place did not deliver. I ordered the lunch special cashew chicken with white meat and chow mein. The food was bland, no flavor and there was like 3 small pieces of white chicken. The chow mein was super thick noodles and also no flavor. The egg drop soup also no flavor very watery and bland. I was also charged double the amount for an order of egg rolls when I was told I would be charged for 2 . First time going there and the last. Panda Express taste so much better!!! This is my fav neighborhood Chinese spot. As a NYer it can get hard to find good Chinese anywhere but home but this place holds up! The later at the front can be kinda rude but if you know Chinese you know that's a tell tale sign of good service and even better food! So I'll take her sometimes snappy remarks!! The service is fast and they also have boba drinks which are super yummy!! They are also one of the few Chinese spots that have duck sauce here so that's already a huge win in my book! I really liked that they had a covid-safe pickup window! And in general, the service and ordering process was great. No issues ordering online. I got an email confirmation and a text + phone call letting me know when the food was ready. I was also really happy with the prices. Entrees in the $6-8. Plus lots of free add-ons depending on how much you spend. We got a free orange chicken for spending $45. Unfortunately, the actual food wasn't very good. My favorite thing we got was the pineapple fried rice. I've had better fried rice before, but this was certainly fine. I thought it lacked a little bit of flavor. Also the pineapple chunks were huge and a little dried out. The orange chicken was could have been crunchier. And the chicken didn't seem very high quality. But that's the norm for cheap chinese takeout. For what it was I think it was fine. My real issues were with the pad thai and the coconut boba teas. The coconut boba teas were legitimately awful. They were _loaded_ with sugar, to the point where neither my girlfriend nor I could drink them. It may have been a genuine mistake adding as much sugar as they added. The tapioca balls themselves also seemed undercooked in the middle. The pad thai wasn't as bad, but it too was way too sweet. It just didn't taste like pad thai. It didn't have the same flavor. No heat or tanginess, or for that matter crunch from any peanuts. It tasted more like they added sweet and sour sauce. However, the noodles had a solid texture to them. Thixx so place is exactly what you're looking for when you're craving Chinese American food. They have a complete menu including all the classics and everything we tried was very well executed. We ordered the orange chicken, combination fried rice, beef and broccoli - absolutely no complaints about any of it. The meat and veggies tasted fresh and the dishes were not too oily. We placed a take-out order on grub hub and when I went in to pick it up, a very friendly staff told me to call-in next time and handed me a paper menu w/ coupons. We've lived in the neighborhood for about a decade and frequent Lucky China at least monthly. They have a wide variety of Asian cuisine and everything is fresh, w/ great ingredients! Their War Wonton soup is my go to when I'm under the weather and I can get two individual meals out of it for myself. Inflation like everywhere else has made it a little more pricey than I'd like, but overall I'd def recommend trying it out. read more

I've only ordered Togo and delivery so im only going off that. I've ordered the sweet n sour pork and it's good but it get soggy quick if you don't eat it. The Mongolian beef is good the beef isn't hard and chewy. The pepper beef is also good. The pineapple chicken was ok. A very bad experience to say the least: Every dish was either overcooked, bland and oily. When we went to pickup the food, the man who we met was extremely rude and gave us our food and legitimately said "night, goodbye" and looked down as to push us out upon pickup. That was a really weird way to interact a paying customer. In trying the food, it was slopped together, with no flavor and our Mongolian beef and chicken pad Thai was undercooked we could not even eat it confidently and threw it away. They even threw in a bag of 3 pieces of stale wonton chips, why even give this. Very disappointed with this food, and the service to pair with it. read more

The staff and the owner they all know us they greet us when we come in with a smile. The food was excellent as always. Shrimp with lobster sauce, Singapore noodles, and then because it was my Birthday she hooked me up with a plate full of crab rangoons delicious. Lucky China is my place. This is my usual order: Combo chow mien-- I love those thick noodles that they use. I know that some would disagree, but that's what I look for when I crave Chinese. Not really a ton of protein but still a great addition to any meal. Sesame beef-- YUM! I love those chewy pieces at the bottom. Haha! Definitely a favorite dish that I always order. This place makes it sweet and savory. Perfect with rice and heats up nicely for leftovers. Buddha's Delight-- Veggies. You have to eat your veggies. The sauce on this bad boy is great. Not the healthiest I'm sure, but it makes for a great dish over rice. Salt and Pepper Porkchop/Wings-- So good. Definitely something you have to eat right away when you order it. I think this one has been a crowd pleaser when we have fam over. Oh and the service is pretty good here too. I usually call in the order and am offered free veggie egg rolls. I used to think that this was a special deal just for me because we have been ordering from here for so long, but no-- haha everyone is offered the free egg rolls if your order hits a certain amount! We've done delivery but my go to is take out. They usually quote you 10 minutes but I show up in 20 with minimal wait time. You can eat inside but why would you even bother when you can go home and eat chow mien in your pajamas? Real talk. I'd say give it a try on a night when you don't feel like cooking dinner. Yesterday I had a friend over and we ordered from Lucky China. I've ordered before and have been very happy, but yesterday was completely different. The beef with broccoli only had a few slices of beef in it, and the cashew chicken was all the same: all broccoli with a few pieces of chicken thrown in and no cashews. When I called today, they to let them know what had happened, the woman who answered told me that cashew chicken does not come with broccoli. I obviously knew that as I have ordered before and probably should have called in right away, but don't like complaining unless it's truly merited. She wanted me to order again, which I will never do, as something is certainly wrong there. Strongly don't recommend ordering from or expecting service from Lucky China. This is a photo the following day with a few pieces of the beef and chicken left (if you can find them). This order was a complete waste of money, unless you enjoy spending over $40 on broccoli. I found this place about 3 months ago and the first time it was good. Lots of beef in the beef dishes, everything seemed perfect. The second time the quality I noticed had gone down. The taste was off the main dishes hardly had any meat. So I recently gave them one last chance to redeem themselves and they failed again. I ordered a few chicken and beef dishes as well as some eggplant and tofu and other dishes. The meat was nowhere to be found the little beef looked as if sliced with a meat slicer so thin you could see through it. The flavor was very off too, almost as if they were using cheap ingredients. The eggplant dish was almost all tofu with very, very little eggplant. I guess this was a sign to find a new Chinese restaurant to try. Oh and they charged more just because it was Christmas.
