This has been our favorite Thai food restaurant for a few years but our Mother's Day meal from the special menu was very disappointing. The salmon dish was supposed to have asparagus but is was served with green beans instead with no explanation as to the substitution. The prawns were supposed to have peas and carrots as veggies but was served with white onions. I don't mind onion but as the only veggie with four prawns for $20 and without an explanation as to why the substitution, We were very disappointed. The complimentary Thai dessert that was promised turned out to be a tiny three bite serving of chocolate chip ice cream. Really? This was a definite fail on their part. read more

Great service. Lovely environment. My favorite local Thai restaurant. I usually prefer pad thai or massaman curry.

Unfortunately after coming back here after four years since my last review the service and food got a little worse. The owner was waiting on me and never once checked to see how the food was. That is basic in any restaurant. I got the red curry with eggrolls and rice soup. The eggroll was cold and tasted old, the rice soup tasted almost as good as soup in a can, and the red curry with chicken came in a very small portion. I felt a little ripped off on the value side. There are other Thai restaurants in the area that are much better overall so I will not be returning to this restaurant again. read more

This place is a little pricey for food that wasn't too good. I liked the overall vibe of the restaurant but it seemed like they spent too much time paying attention to the presentation of the food than the taste of the food itself. The food was great. I had duck with red curry and bell peppers. I have only had curry one other time and it was good. Never had duck before so was a little unsure but decided to try it anyway. It was a great decision. It also went perfect with the Thai tea probably the best thai tea i have ever had, then again the only thai tea i have ever had was from those boba places. First off, there was a hair in my chicken noodle soup (gross). They have HORRIBLE service. I had the pad Thai and it was not good, very greasy. I will NOT be back. Went here yesterday and won't return. Food was good but the service was horrible!!! The restaurant wasn't busy, but we got stuck back in a corner rather than in the center and it felt like we were forgotten about. When we ordered food it seemed like forever before we were served. One of our entrees was soup, but no bowls. We had to ask twice for bowls, 20min later they brought them. By the previous reviews it looks as if others have liked this restaurant. Stopped by after getting the address and recommendation from our Tax people. I was very impressed with the deco. It had the feeling of a quaint Thai restaurant in Thailand. Servers are dressed in native dress and the food was delicious. The wide screen TV shows a travel videos of this beautiful country & made my husband and I dream of an exotic Asian vacay. Prices were good. They had signs up advertising a romantic Valentines dinner with a gift. At the front they have wood cabinets with trinkets from Thailand to buy. read more

Frankly, you can't really go wrong here. Part of a small local chain, the Lucky Elephant has a great decor, friendly help, and overall good food. I particularly enjoy the curries. Prices are reasonable and compared to the decor of most other Thai restaurants in the area, this one stands far above. read more

This place was awesome. We had a slew of items that were all great: shrimp sateh, tom yum goong, pad see ew noodles (veg), and the tofu with basil. Only $37 for everything. We didn't drink so that kept costs down and even their water was delicious! The staff was helpful and attentive and answered all of our weird questions ('cuz we don't eat Thai food often). Don't be put off if the place is empty, I think more people jus need to hear about this place and it's in a poor location. I will definitely be back. read more

Never knew what Thai food was.. one day I randomly stopped here with my family and I ordered a boba drink and pad thai. Let me just say how amazing it was! Instantly hooked on those noodles and my fruity slurpee thing called boba smoothie lol. Other times I've gone, I've had the crispest orange chicken, fresh crab cakes, and Mmm just amazing food and have always received good service. First time eating Thai food and Although I wasn't a fan of everything I did find two things that were my favorite! The crab fried rice is so good and the spicy beef salad was amazing I did find the pha Thai (I think that's it ) noodles interesting but the Thai tea my gosh was so good I would come back for sure the portion sizes are larger then I expected too. read more

Also, did not offer more than one spoon for desert we clearly stated we wanted to share between the three of us. Had to hunt a service person down for the other two spoons, as they are not really available. Took three plates of our leftovers to the back to be boxed up, and came back with two. ??? Weird. I think the waitress misunderstood how many to box, though we were specific. With all of that being said, it was not a bad dining experience, because of the atmosphere, and decent cuisine. I've always been a fan of the Lucky Elephant in Glendora so I was thrilled to come across this location. While the food is tasty the service SUCKS. Having dined during busy times and during slow times (recently I was the only party in the restaurant and there were 3 bumbling employees) the service is constantly terrible. The female waitress has attitude and would rather clean every single empty table then tend to the only customers in the whole restaurant. Furthermore, having to smell strong cleaning odors while dining is a total turn off. Get your act together. read more

I love Thai food and I eat it at least a few times a month but this food did not come close to how the dishes usually taste like. The pad Thai was definitely lacking the flavor and egg while the mango sticky rice tasted off. Instead of tasting like coconut the sticky rice tasted mostly of jasmine and the mango was way too ripe. Food is mediocre. Not authentic at all. Just bland. Seems like all food is prepped and heated up. Tofu is dry. Vegetables seem like a freezer medley. I just came back from that restaurant and couldn't help to write them a review. I just had one of the worst eating out experience ever, considering I do eat out almost everyday. I checked out the restaurant because they have so many good reviews on here, but now I am doubting the reliability of theses sources. They are probably written by one of their family members. I went in the restaurant and stood there for a good 10 minutes before anyone greeted me to assign a table. I only ordered one dish to try out the restaurant, and it took them 30 minutes to prepare it. At some point, I almost stood up and leave. When I was carrying that thought, they finally brought out the dish. The food was so so, but the service sucked ass. I understand it is a somewhat family restaurant, but i did not know that they could bring the standard to a new low. I am super disappointed and this restaurant is highly not recommended by me. read more

Been here a few times with my Wife and the food and service is always great! We usually come in while it is quiet (2-3 pm weekdays) as so, we get undivided attention.
