This little spot is awesome! It's a small place but the food and flavors are huge! It's a cozy spot with super friendly and helpful staff. My wife has never really had Thai food and they answered all her question no problem. Our first time in, we had the shrimp pad see ew and my wife got the drunken noodles. We also had their tofu egg rolls to start and they were great! Each table had a really cool little service "bowl?" with four types of authentic hot sauce. They also ask you when u order the "level" of spice u want for each dish which is awesome. It's not a one spice fits all place! We both also fell in love with the Thai tea. Not the milky stuff but regular unsweetened Thai tea, so good! We stopped by again to try some soups on a rainy day and they were great. Not just pho but they have some great soups for the curious eaters. We had one with coconut milk and one that had mint and spices. We've ordered take out and stopped by for dinner a dozen times. My friends and I were so shocked at how tasty and fragrant the Thai Tea was and the orange chicken was so fresh, surprisingly crunchy, and overall the best. I enjoyed the soft music that they played and room was dimly lit, creating a cozy and homey atmosphere. The wonton soup was light and satisfying,m; I'd honestly come back for the bigger portion! However, the drunken noodles could've used more flavor and spice. For the dinner portion, it was a bit less of a serving than I expected with about half of it just being lettuce. We ordered take out one busy evening and were very happy with the warmth of service (even on the phone). Ordered the Drunken Noodles, Pad Thai, Chicken Satay and Crab Fried Rice. Drunken noodles were delicious with medium spice (chose beef which was tender and flavorful). Crab Fried Rice - real crab, fresh flavor. Pad Thai did not have that sweetness other Thai places tend to have but instead had distinct flavor with fresh ingredients. Chicken Satay also tender and flavorful with a grilled taste - again not many if any Thai places I know of have that. This has now become our go to for Thai food in the area. This spot is located in a plaza with a good amount of parking spots. Inside, they have a homey setup with about 5-6 tables for seating. Wifey and I stopped by to grab some takeout lunch for ourselves and some fam around 12pm. For their menu, they are stacked with all of the Thai staples from different rice, noodle, and soup dishes. We were glad that we came during lunch time because they also had some amazing lunch specials going on. We ended up getting a spread of the Potak (Seafood Soup), Pad Thai Beef, Crying Tiger, and Papaya Salad. Everything hit the spot and the portions were beyond generous! I have proof of what happened, and my discomfort was obvious. I ended up having to call a friend to come get me out of that situation because nothing was done on your end. Everything was delicious. The curry was creamy and sweet, slightly spicy. The peanut sauce with the chicken satay was rich and savory. The pad Thai was bright and aromatic. We were greeted promptly by a really nice server & shown to pick whichever table we wanted. I figured we'd get the usual: red chicken curry, Thai Bbq chicken dinner (with a choice of steamed or fried rice) soup & fried egg roll, fried tofu. They honored the Yelp check in offer & I chose Thai iced tea vs coffee. Our food arrived shortly. Hubby loved his chicken red curry. The fried tofu was good, the crunchiness is perfect. The Thai bbq chicken was just okay. Nothing beats The Original Thai bbq chicken, in flavor & tenderness. The signature taste is unique at The Original Thai Bbq. My dish/combo was mediocre at best.
