One of my favorite places to come for some great seafood in Longmont - our first stop. The seafood is amazing as I again ordered scallops with garlic and butter sauce with a hint of spice. The food is on par! We love the Parker location but because we live closer to this one we thought we should give it a try. However the manager was rude and had a major attitude. Our server didn't catch his name, bald gentleman was stellar absolutely the best server I've had in a restaurant. Won't be coming back to this location. Colorado is not known for it's fresh seafood, but that is changing since The Juicy Seafood Seafood came to Longmont. I have visited 4 times and enjoy it more and more each time. The shrimp, black mussel and clam combination with all spices is my favorite. Everything is cooked to perfection, including the corn and potatoes. Don't be shy. Use the bib and at least one glove. Server, Logan, from Louisiana, was friendly and his timing was perfect, as I don't like being rushed. It is not a fancy place, but it is clean and comfortable. This location is a great option for healthy eating. It is located in a strip mall with ample parking. While it was very busy on our first visit, we were seated immediately and our orders were taken promptly. The menu system provides options for combinations or you can create your own. Then you select your flavoring: oil and garlic, Cajun, etc. we selected a medium Cajun flavor and it was perfect. We were not provided with adequate tools for splitting crab legs, we had to ask for the poker / splitter both times we visited. It seems they are low on equipment and had to be washed. Overall a good experience and we went back the very next day! It is very difficult to eat out and find healthy solutions. This is an excellent option! read more

This place was very busy, being new, but they got us in quickly and our server was charming and very attentive. I had a seafood boil with crab, shrimp and sausage, Cajun seasoning, medium. The seafood was great and it had a nice bite. The server recommended garlic butter for my daughter since she wasn't sure if she could handle spice. When she tried my Cajun boil, she said, "It burns, but I LOVE it!" Which I feel sums up the meal. (My other child, not a seafood fan, had chicken fingers, which they liked as well.) Service was good. Prices were what I'd expect. It is "casual" as others have mentioned. Was not overcooked and the quality of the seafood was fine. Most of my shrimp were well cleaned. The bummer for me was frozen corn and gross butter flavored oil. If I'm springing for lobster and crab, I want real butter. Well. I always want real butter ;) but if EXPECT it at this price point and for seafood...not to mention sooooo bad for you the fake stuff. read more

The prices here are quite affordable considering you could get a 1.5 lb combo for ~$20. The juicy seasoning option is delicious and super buttery. The only downside is that the spicier seasoning option didn't really have any kick to it. The meal was great honestly, really can't go wrong with the food here and the sweet potato fries are fantastic as well. However, the service here was superb. First time here. I hadn't really looked up any info online so wasn't sure what to expect. The atmosphere is more of a quick, casual almost fast food type place. There are table and chairs but more like a wahoo fish tacos or noodles type of restaurant. So not a typical seafood fancy type place. That being said, the food was great! There are several combinations of seafood to pick from. The combos are served in a plastic bag brought to your table in a tin deep dish plate. Like a boil. You choose the seafood, type of sauce/flavoring and the spiciness. They bring it to the table and open the bag for you and you're ready to eat. They provide a plastic bib,gloves and a bucket for shells. You will need the bib and gloves!!!! We had the garlic, butter sauce for o e, the everything seasoning and the Cajun. We liked the Cajun best. They have beer, drinks and appetizers to pick from as well. The chowder was also very good!! The food came out very quick and the prices were actually very reasonable. The servers were friendly and helpful. It's a good choice for some quick, good seafood. We'll go again ! read more

This is a very casual restaurant, although they do wait on you at your table. Our server was friendly and attentive. The chairs are wooden and not very comfortable. I had shrimp and sausage. It was good and there was plenty of food to take home. I was really disappointed that they use so much plastic. I get the gloves and bibs, but does the food have to be steamed in plastic? Couldn't it be steamed in the metal pan with foil over it? And couldn't the takeout containers be foil pans with a lid instead of another plastic bag? Probably won't return due to this. read more

Came in today when our party of 4 for lunch. We were instantly seated and greeted and our waitress was quick to grab our order. I've never been here before and I was excited because I'm a west coast kid and I miss truly good seafood. I was impressed with how well they decorated the place, it has a nice beach shack vibe and is a good option for a casual spot to dine. We got hush puppies for the appetizer and my husband ordered the lobster roll while I got the Juicy Combo with crab legs, shrimp and lobster. I did the garlic butter seasoning with old bay, medium spice. I was impressed with how well everything was cooked. Nothing came out rubbery. The crab legs were thick and I got more meat than I expected, the seasoning was perfect and they set us up with everything we would need, Bib, making, wet napkins and gloves. I was amazed at goes flavorful everything was and honestly if they started bottling their juice I would buy it all. My husband inhaled his lobster roll which is impressive because he's not the biggest seafood fan. Our server was attentive and checked in frequently but not too much to the point where we felt like we were being rushed through our meal. Loved the food, loved the vibe. Right as you walk in you come face to face with some eels and lobster. You just know the food will be fresh! They don't take reservations on weekends, so we arrived around 6 for party of 3. They told us 30 minute wait but we only waited about 10 minutes. There are 4 combos and you can sub things in the combos which was so convenient. Our waiter was super nice and even unrolled our seafood boil bag for us. It was a sensational experience. Watching him roll it down to reveal crab legs, mussels, and lobster. The sauce was pretty good and they give you a large bowl of lemons and butter! read more

Choose a sauce and the heat scale but hot wasn't what I would call hot and I'm a weenie when it comes to spicy. The atmosphere is more like fast food, clean, noisy and not overly decorative. Went here for the first time this week. I had the fried oysters with onion rings. Oysters were excellent. Onion rings were very few. I give it a 4 star because other than the seafood boil in a bag, there were very few other "basket" items to order. We just wanted something lighter than the messy seafood boil with corn on the cob/ crab legs/ etc. The table-setting screamed "messy!" as it was lined with paper. They give you a bib for your boil meals. Atmosphere was unique. A good-eating place, not romantic though. read more

While seafood is always an expensive meal, usually it's tasty as well. My business partner and I went to taste this establishment a couple weeks ago. Both of us are originally from good seafood states. To say that our experience was a let-down is an understatement. I ordered the headless shrimp and my partner ordered scallops. We tasted e h others and our own agreeing it was not fresh and very fishy tasting. I had to doctor my shrimp up so much with lemons to cut the gross taste. The scallops were not edible. We will not go back. It was over priced, fishy, and they only serve the seafood one way, steamed. read more

Terrible service with rude attitude and abrupt style. Overly seasoned and priced too high for quality. New England clam chowder was watery. We ate small bowls and when we mentioned it was not a normal consistency instead of apology/customer service or trying to make us happy we were criticized for having eaten the soup. This is not a place that focuses on hospitality. We had two soups and one was removed from the bill. We asked about military discount and had a "nevermind" moment about not having an ID but instead of saying no problem, just bring it next time, we were given harsh treatment (along with the discount). The server was abrupt, rude, and manager is also punitive and unfriendly. We felt yelled at by our server and lectured. We came to try this new place but will not return after the abysmal customer service. The response of the manager says it all- same rude treatment with no regard for our experience. read more
