I believe this establishment recently changed ownership and the service has gone downhill. My first visit was meh, disappointed but thought I'd give it another try. Second visit - the person hurt me more than a massage and a week later I am still in discomfort because he cracked my spine and now my shoulder is frozen. Never again will I go back there. My sister and I recently visited this massage place and honestly wish we had a better experience. When we arrived, we didn't realize it was connected to another location where we previously had a bad experience, but we decided to give it a fair shot anyway. Unfortunately, we both ended up really disappointed. The "massage" felt more like someone just applying lotion to our skin. There was little to no pressure, and it didn't feel like an actual foot massage at all. Even after my sister asked her therapist to go firmer, nothing changed. I was too shy to say anything myself, but I kept my eyes open the entire time just waiting for it to be over. On top of that, the environment was really loud since it's in a more open/public area. It would definitely help if they closed the door so that we don't hear customers walking in. I would suggest to create a more relaxing atmosphere. Normally, massages help us relax or even fall asleep but this one did the complete opposite. It honestly felt like we paid just to be lathered in lotion. I just stared at the ceiling, frustrated and counting down the minutes until it was over. I get massages quite often, sometimes 2-3x a month, but this was definitely ranked at the bottom of my list. We also feel like there needs to be better training for the therapists. People come in after long, exhausting days and spend their hard-earned money expecting a quality, relaxing experience, not something that feels ineffective. Massages shouldn't be a hit-or-miss service, they should consistently be excellent. Given that this felt similar to our past experience at their other location, it seems like a pattern that could really be improved with better staff training. Looking back, we probably should've trusted our instincts given our past experience and the not-so-great reviews. We won't be returning. The only positive was the front receptionist, who was very kind. Overall, just really disappointed, which is unfortunate since this place is very close by to where I live and it would have been my go to for massages 1x a month. I did a 90min Foot & Full body massage with Peter. This location is clean and relaxing. I was greeted when I walked in and wasn't pressured for an upsale - I kinda already knew what service I wanted so that was nice! Peter was very attentive, checked if his pressure was enough and even checked if I felt too warm or cold. I just had an incredible job by David for 1 hour foot massge today, and i have had different massues in the past and much need pamper myself. The price is reasonable. He did remakekabel , he help knead out my knots on ny shoulders , lower back and scalp. I like strong pressure, and he used elbow & forearm massage is very clean. I had been coming here for a few months. I was very happy with the services until this past Sunday. I booked a foot massage and was quoted $39.99 then was told it would be $41. After the massage I tipped the man $5 he refused the tip and said he only would accept $10 or more. I was baffled I went to the man at the front and he told me that I had to tip over $10 and I explained that I only had that cash. He showed me the door and said I can't massages anymore. The message is hit or miss. Sometimes you get lucky sometimes you don't. Quick staff turn around so it's hard to request the same person all the time. I always ask for a receipt (old fashion one) for my FSA reimbursement since the receipt from card reader doesn't states what service I got only the amt. Today I asked the availability of the receipt before my 90 min massage and the owner confirmed that she has and she will give me when I'm done (that should have been a red flag; why not give me right then; she charged me before the service). What I got was she literally wrote a 3-4 sentences on a scratch paper (correct English in a nice hand writing BtW) stating I had a massage today. I told her that is not acceptable and all of the sudden she acted like she doesn't speak English and couldn't understand my request. She keept saying "no find, no find". Had I know that I couldn't get a receipt, I would have turned around and go somewhere else. Very unprofessional and not trust worthy and will not return again. read more

I have generally been very happy with Lucky Foot Massage since I started coming here several months ago. But the last few times, the boss has asked that I get a massage from someone of the opposite sex despite me specifically requesting someone of the same sex every time. I need to feel completely comfortable getting a massage and she doesn't seem to understand that. Instead she asks that I need to understand where she is coming from. I don't think her ability to have both male and female staff available when I make an appointment and explicitly make my requirement known, requires more understanding than my comfort regarding who is touching my body. For whatever reason the boss also said something like, "it is your loss" when I refused to accept the other masseuse. She also kept pointing her finger at me while we were arguing about this. I felt she was being rude to me throughout. I don't think this attitude is appropriate for a customer who is asking for a very reasonable request to be honored. read more

I am giving this massage place 5 stars today because I literally just received the best massage of my life. My lower shoulder has been sore for weeks so I went today hoping to get relief. I opted for the 1 hour table massage and told my masseuse to focus on my left shoulder area. He worked on it for a good portion of the hour and focused on working out the knots on my shoulder over and over using different techniques. He also used hot stones and stretching techniques to enhance the experience of this full body massage. As I was getting my massage I can tell he is highly skilled and asked for his name when the hour was over. My masseuse's name is Peter and I plan on asking for him each time I come back. I have been coming here for years and felt inclined to give the review today because of how effective Peter was in relieving my shoulder pain. I was a bit concerned after reading other reviews saying they didn't change towels after each customer so I talked to the owner upon arrival and she confirmed that the small towels where it contacts your face and the small towels to wipe your feet are replaced each time. These I know is true even prior to covid time. The blanket and big towel that covers the chair though are only replaced at the end of the day. I expected that much from them so that's why I always go first thing in the morning to make sure I'm the first one on those new towels/blankets :p The owner has lysol spray ready and can spray the whole chair for you upon request. This place has always been my go-to place for massage. It's cheap ($30 for 1 hour), quick and good. I always go just for "foot" massage because they actually also massage your head, arms, shoulders/neck, legs and even spend the last 20 min on your back. You can request if you want female or male but I always go for male since I prefer firmer massage. The masseuse doesn't speak much English but they can understand simple keywords, like "stronger/harder", "too hard", etc. You can signal them where to massage more on as well, e.g. Point to lower back, shoulder etc. I don't like to be massaged with elbows and my fave messeuese, David knows what to do when I requested that. Popular guys do get booked up so make sure to call ahead! read more

I was hoping to find a good foot massage nearby and although reviews were all over the place, I still decided to give it a go since I know these places are not exactly 5 star but the massage could still be worth it. Parking was easy enough in the small plaza it is located in and the entrance is very well lit. I asked the receptionist if there was availability for an hour foot massage and she said yes and promptly asked me to pay up front. This has been similar of everyone else reviewing so I knew to pay with cash instead to avoid that $2 fee. However, I really did not expect her to ask me to also pay for the tip up front as I usually do not tip until the massage is over and I can use my judgement on whether or not I enjoyed it. To pacify her, I gave her 15% ($6) and she gave me a disgusted look and asked why I didn't give more? Way unprofessional, but I told her I would tip the masseuse more if I liked my experience. There was only one other person in the room getting a massage and I was given a spot away from them. I removed my shoes and placed my personal items in the basket they provide and waited for my masseuse, who took a few minutes meeting me despite the fact the area was empty. I don't know if the receptionist specifically chose a poor masseuse for me because I didn't tip enough for her, but my massage was mediocre at best. Hardly any time was spent on my actual feet, which is funny since it's call a foot massage. The pressure was too light for my taste and when I mentioned that I wanted more pressure, he would apply more for a few minutes and then go right back to the light touches. Overall not impressed with this location for their foot massage. I cannot attest to the full body massage but based on this basic massage I will not be returning. read more

I've been here thrice and it has always been the same story. The lady at the reception tries to rip you off every single time. She always demands upfront payment with the tip. Today she insisted that a 40% tip is the regular amount. I was insisting that I would tip her 15% and she was steadfast on making me tip 40%. She brought it up even after the massage that I should tip her 40%. This is ridiculous and makes the whole experience very difficult. However, when it comes to the actual massage part--it was great.
