Tried another Thai restaurant in the North Texas area. I ordered the Thai Red Curry with Chicken and Egg Drop Soup for carry out. Both were tasty. The Curry was a little thin for my liking but was full of chicken which was a nice surprise. Seems lately the chicken servings are shrinking in my meals. Overall, this place was not good. Before even reviewing the food, we feel sick. We just got out from giving this place a good first try. Both myself and my husband are concerned with how we are feeling- never coming back. We tried the Heart Attack and Crab Rangoon appetizers, a ramen bowl, and the Lucky House Sushi Roll. The heart attack is poorly fried jalapeño with cream cheese and avocado. It was okay but mainly just the taste of jalapeño. Nothing special. The crab rangoons PLEASE DON'T GET! They are rocks! They are fried so long they hurt to eat. We could not get through them and the taste is nothing special anyways. You aren't missing much. The ramen had no flavor except in the broth but was a decent portion. The roll- the roll was the worst! The smell strongly reminded me of taking out the trash when you lift the bag and get a wiff. To top it all off- my water glass was dirty. We were recommended to go here from a family member and we have NO IDEA why. They did share however that they only order and have never eaten inside. My husband and I agreed to give a two star rating solely for the quantity of food but if the food is safe is still in question. read more

I was given a menu by the person that brought my food when I ordered delivery 2 weekends prior. I decided to order them again for my wife and I. I called and put in an order of beef pad Thai (pretty tasty) the tempura shrimp appetizer (again pretty tasty), my wife got orange chicken with fried rice (wife didnt like it). I ordered pork ramen for my son, and crab Rangoons. The menu they left with me on my last delivery had a coupon that gave a free order of dumplings if you spent 30 dollars on your next purchase. When i mentioned it she said they had updated the coupon to 50 dollars, even though I had the menu with the 30 coupon in hand. The woman on the phone refused to honor it, so I added more food, a sweet an sour soup.. she said sorry you are only at 47 dollars, and still wouldn't work with me. I get that it's not a big deal in the grand scheme of things, but seems bad business to hand out menus with a priced coupon, and then when someone tries to use it raising the price saying they had upated it. It literally was given to me on my last delivery that was just a little less than 2 weeks prior. It was pretty irritating. Fortunately there are PLENTY of Chinese food places to order from that I can say honestly the Lucky House wont be getting my business again due to this. read more

Lucky House is all new inside. Food quality is fantastic! Big improvement of the previous establishment in this location. Had the orange peel beef and the chicken. Great! Try the wanton soup. You won't be disappointed. There are other soups on the bar that we tried and they were also excellent. We ordered delivery and loved it so came in person to eat in. You should too! After ordering delivery several times, a friend wanted to meet there to try the food. First let me say the delivery food was packaged really well & It was always fresh, hot and wonderful. The restaurant was easy to find and while the interior is very simple, it was also set up for social distancing. The food and service was excellent. The crab ragoons are the best I've ever had ! I had my favorite beef broccoli and it was as good as always and I had some to take home too. My friend had the bento box with tempura shrimp & veggies and she was very happy too. I tried the tempura green pepper and it was really good. The food and service are great. They took care of our questions and requests professionally and quickly. I'm giving this new place 3 stars because their service for takeout is so good and they are really trying so very hard. My husband and daughter have had the orange chicken and some of the sushi and loved it. I have only had the hot & sour soup and the "crab" rangoon. The hot & sour soup is delicious. However, the crispy noodles to put in the soup are thick and taste like they have either been fried twice or fried in rancid oil. They just taste a bit stale and have a bitter aftertaste. The problem is the same with the wrappers on the "crab" rangoon. Thick, bad-tasting, and not as crispy as they should be. The worst part is that the filling is strictly made of cream cheese. There is no crab in it at all, not even any krab. They should rename it Cream Cheese Rangoon. I hope they use this feedback, because the people there are so nice and I see it as having a ton of potential. read more

Stopped in for lunch and picked the L3 from the Lunch menu for $7.59. L3 is General Two's chicken that came with an Egg Roll and a pick of rice. I picked Brown Rice which was $.79 more. I also added a small S5 Wonton Soup for $2.25. As others have said the food was bland and my listed L3 was not spicy at all. The soup broth was okay but the wontons were very doughy with little flavor. The lady at the counter was engaging and nice but not sure that will be enough to bring me back in as there are better restaurants around. Shame as the menu is deep with items. read more

The Singapore rice noodles was very tasty. I give this 5 stars. The red curry was very diluted and I did not enjoy it. The cream pecan shrimp was horrible. The coating of the shrimp was not cooked properly. It was hard and you can see the flour or whatever white coating they covered it with. The ahi tuna tower was pretty good. I recently moved back to the area and was really hoping for a good experience since our regular go-to Chinese food place went to crap. My wife and I ordered lunch to be picked up on a Saturday afternoon. They said it would be ready in 5 minutes. Usually when I hear that it's not a good sign. Anyway, we got there in about 9 minutes after placing the call and it was ready. Nice looking place and everybody was very friendly. I got the Hunan Chicken and my wife got the Spicy Ramen. Portion size was good but but the flavor was absent. Hunan usually has a bit of spice to it but this Hunan was not spicy at all and it was very bland. My wife's "Spicy" Ramen was not spicy either and was flavorless. I usually give a place 2 chances before scratching them off my list and that goes for this place as well. I will try it again in a months or so but really don't have much faith that things will change. The Egg Rolls were not good either. read more

I've got a great deal of respect for her the challenges of running a family enterprise which can involve babysitting kids at the establishment, but it wasn't a great start. Came in for dinner and learned that the place is very new, only like a month old. The inside of the restaurant is cute and very clean although they don't have a sound system yet so we jammed to our own Spotify. The sushi tasted fresh and delicious. Also had hibachi steak with fried rice. It came with plenty of steak that was tender and good. We ordered 4 things...and i know 3 are delicious. I had the mongolian beef - so good! Ordered their spicy tuna roll - surprisingly delicious!!! Not just full of rice and a sliver of tuna....it was very good. Poke bowl was great too. My son ordered the Miso Ramen...he says it was very good too...but I never tried it. Very Bad Service!!! We sat for 15 minutes and were never helped. The owner walked by us three times and never acknowledged us until we decided to leave. There were also others that were not getting any service around us. I'm not sure how the food tastes because we were not able to eat it. But based on their reviews it is average at best! I used to like this place. Food is mostly good and service friendly and normally timely. Not this last visit. Called in a small order (2 entrees and 2 sides). Person said it would be ready in 15 minutes. Showed up in about 20 and they didn't even start making it! They took our money first though before we knew they didn't start the order! Another 40 minutes passed before the order was ready. This specific order was extremely sub par, both with service and food quality. Never going back! Absolutely atrocious customer experience.
