THIS PLACE SUCKS!-The only thing lucky about this place is how it stays in business. On 04/13/18, at about 3 PM, on a Saturday, we walked in with two other families. These are the things that I noticed, all the lanes were, closed, the two Asian guys who where working were watching TV. They were kind of rude, and clearly were not interested in our business. They told us that they were closing in 30 minutes, the other family member asked why, and the employee replied, "We need to take a break and go do something." I replied, "For what there is no one here, and your web page says that your hours of operation are from 9AM - 10 PM!" I was told that since there is not enough business, today he was modifying his business hours. So I told him, he needed to modify his business practices and customer service skills! So he told me to return at 7. I think this place suck and this is why! 1) The staff are not only rude to the customers but they are A--holes! 2) This business should be warm and thankful that a few customers came in, few are better than no customers, these two guys didn't see it that way, they spent their efforts shooing us away! 3) This place is old, dirty and run down, it smells like an old machinist garage, with the smell of motor oil masking the faint stench, of beer puke! No wonder no one bowls here! My recommendation, don't bowl here go to Fat Kat's or Summit Entertainment! I have been a resident of Brighton for 15 years and I am a person that encourages, activities within the city of Brighton, but not in Lucky Lanes! I am telling my family, friends, neighbors and you, don't come here this place is a sh--t hole! The one positive thing I can say about this place was that it was closed, so my children didn't have to be traumatized by a miserable experience! read more

We had a blast here! Our whole group was shocked (in a good way) about how great the food was. Very retro "vibes" and such a great time.

Old as hell. Only for league play, hours vary by when someone wants to be there. Go somewhere else!

Ya know, I love bowling alleys. The greatest places on earth to meet friends, bowl a few lines, slam a couple of beers, maybe take a date. A real slice of Americana. This place is right down the street from my house, and I can count on two fingers the number of times I've gone in there. Why? Because it's ALL LEAGUE bowling, ALL THE TIME. You can't just drop in and bowl a few lines with yer girl or a few pals, you have to belong to a goddamn league. And play only when your league meets, yada, yada, yada. What a waste. They have a bar, which I would love to patronize, again, because it's right down the street, and how handy would that be if I had a few too many? But, no, because they really seem to discourage people just dropping in to drink a beer, and they keep really weird hours here, like Tuesdays and Thursdays and Monday mornings, some goofy shit like that. I went here with my girl scout troop for a celebration, and it did not go well. My mother and I tried to order food, and after awhile of grumbling angrily about it, the employee working there took our order. He overcharged us quite a bit, but we didn't mind too much, because we hadn't had lunch and were very hungry. After a good 20 minutes, we got our food. My mother's burger was under cooked, and she worried she'd get food poisoning from it. The place also smelled kind of musty, and not in a good way. The employees seemed reluctant to help us as well. read more

I can't even tell you how rude this man was at this bowling ally. We were looking for a close place to spend some time with our young son and being new to the area we figured this would be a nice little place. Well I was dead wrong!!! NEVER AGAIN will I attempt to bring ANYONE here and will tell every one I know to stay away from this shit hole...should have read the reviews on yelp before we headed over. Lesson learned read more

Consider yourselves lucky! We actually got in to bowl there and the old man treated us like we were criminals. He practically sat down with us to watch over us the whole time! This place is strange! We called to see if they were open today.. Tuesday at 1:00p. We are visiting from out of town. I have 3 kiddos with me and thought we would go bowling. When I called a rough sounding man answered. I asked him if he was open today. His reply: "Uh,.... no, not really. Why, whatcha got?" I said I just had 4 of us, including 3 kids and we were looking to come and play a few games. He said that in order for us to come in, he would have to "turn everything on" the "air conditioner and all the lights and it's really not worth it for just the 4 of you". Well, okay then. Creepy. All the reviews on here with 1 star are completely accurate! If I could give it zero stars I would and that is saying a lot coming from me. The owner is totally unfriendly. My husband and I went in there one day to kill a couple hours. The guy didn't even want to sell us beer because the bar was closed down.he eventually allowed us to have a couple bottled beers. I then just called and the owner answered and I asked when they have Open bowling and he said only Saturdays from 12 to about 330. And I said really that's it? And he was a total jerk and said yeah because I have league people. What a sad excuse for a business in such a great community. I wish I had the capital to open a new bowling alley and put that jerk out of business! read more

I agree with the previous post. I have called several times to see if they have open bowling and I have never been able to talk to ANYONE! They don't even have an answering machine. Can't believe they actually have business there. I would love to take my kids bowling during their school breaks, but apparently this revenue stream is not obvious to the owners. Would love for them to change their ways and not just count on the old-timers for business. This is one of the lamest businesses in this growing community. No worries, though. I can spend my time and entertainment money elswhere. read more

My friends and I LOVE this alley. While it is not a great place for kids and family, their lanes are as smooth as glass and is a great place to bowl if you are an enthusiast. I don't think I've ever had better wings or burgers. the alley itself is like a step back in time to the days of the 50's. The beer is cold and it is everything I would expect from a great bowling alley! So Bring your buddies or adult friends to enjoy a great night out, but take the kids to laser bowling somewhere else. read more

We bowled here last night, and I was appalled at how bad the ownership was. Having paid for our games, I asked if we could use the bumpers for my kiddo. He responded, "do you have $2,000 in case you break it?" Shocked, I answered, "Yes. Can you turn them on?" The old man refused to do so. Thinking we were miscommunicating I informed him that my daughter was almost 3 and we'd just help her roll the ball towards the pins. No possibility of damage. He insisted that, even under direct supervision she was too young to participate in any fashion, and he would not put the bumpers up. Interesting that he had 0 qualms when taking our $. My frustration escalated - and I ended up going back to our lane quite miffed. As if that wasn't enough he then appeared to "talk bad" about us to the other bowlers that he knew. So much that we became the group to look on to by half of the bowling alley. It's fair to say we won't be back. Please don't patronize this place either. read more
