Instead of feeling relaxed and enjoying the shopping experience, I often feel like I'm competing with people who are rushing around trying to grab items for online orders. I really think Whole Foods should consider having a separate area in the back for employees who are picking and packing delivery and online orders, rather than having them do it alongside regular customers. The store should feel like a place where customers can comfortably shop, not like a warehouse where everyone is rushing to grab products. I hope Whole Foods will take this feedback seriously and find a better way to balance online fulfillment with the in-store shopping experience.

This store has a live seafood section. It has big tanks of crabs , lobster , shrimp , fishes . Prices vary from time to time . Couple Weeks ago on the Father 's day weekends. Crabs were $ 6.99 one pound . Now is only $8.99 per pound . New items are lunch boxes from the deli section . I love their hot Chinese food delis . You can full up one big square container for $14.99 . Now they make lunch boxes ( $9 ) first thing in the morning as soon as their food are ready . Good lunch boxes like chat Siu ( BBQ pork ) , roasted duck , steamed baby pork ribs with chicken feet ( a favorite dim sum combination) , etc . I had never visited this location before. Walking in, the ambiance wasn't giving me the warm fuzzies like the other well-lit Loard's locations did. It's pretty dim with only one window emitting any light from outside. It still has it's pink and white interior, but it doesn't scream "ice cream shop." One thing that stood out to me was the menu. It appeared they might've updated several of their prices with the edits marked all over it. It just looks tacky, but I understand that making a new sign can be costly. Hopefully in the near future this could be given a nice facelift. We ordered a scoop of ube, a scoop of toasted almond, and a scoop of mint chocolate chip ice cream. Unfortunately you couldn't eat indoors so we stood outside the shop and hurried to eat the ice cream before it melted. Would I come back here again? Maybe, but I prefer the Castro Valley location more as it just gives more of the feels of an actual ice cream shop and it's got a pleasant vibe to it.

Which is completely reasonable for anyone with common sense, if you're getting something free, expect to prove you qualify for it. We were treated politely and respectfully the entire time. I'm an African American man, and not once did I feel singled out or mistreated. What's actually sad is watching people try to tear down a good business because they're angry they couldn't scam a free $6 cake. Some of these complaints sound less like "bad customer service" and more like entitlement. Businesses are allowed to verify promotions. That's not discrimination, that's basic fraud prevention. So thank you to Nothing Bundt Cakes for continuing to offer a generous birthday gift while still having standards in place. Apparently asking adults to show proof of birthdate is now controversial.
