I recently hired Lucky Moving to load and unload multiple pieces of bedroom furniture from a townhouse to a two store house. The furniture consisted of Two very heavy oak armoires and a heavy oak dresser and mirror along with other lessor items. The furniture was moved from a second floor townhouse with a narrow staircase and multiple tight turns. The two man crew professionally wrapped the furniture and were able to negotiate the narrow staircase and turns with expert precision. No scratches to the walls or damage to the furniture. I had to book at the last second and they were QUICK to respond. Their price beats anyone else out there and they were honest from the get go. The guys were great! They wrapped up and took care of all my furniture as well as did extra when asked if they could load anything else. Leo and Niko were both excellent! They helped us move our 1BR apartment, and did it efficiently and very professionally. They even helped and problem solved how to get our couch in and out of really tight doorways! They helped disassemble our sofa bed couch, secured the spring mechanism and surprisingly got it in and helped us reassemble. It worked out perfectly. Recently I needed a small moving project to move items out , my friend recommended me this new company and I was like, sure let's try . Their response rate was incredible which is a good sign , so we quickly arranged the date and the time to pick the stuff out and move them to another apartment. I was referred to them when my original movers had to unfortunately cancel our original appointment. I texted the number that was provided and they responded promptly! Super easy to schedule and their prices are very affordable. The day of the move, we had them scheduled to come at 8am and they gave me a call at 7:59am letting me know they were here. My boyfriend and I had a small 1 bedroom apartment to move and from beginning to end it took a total of 3.5 hours. They were fast, efficient, and made sure everything was wrapped and secured! They even brought along extra boxes just in case more things needed to be packed away. When unloading they were extremely fast and careful. Overall, I HIGHLY recommend utilizing them. My new apartment did not have an elevator and was on the third floor. The movers showed up on time, and completed the entire move in less than 2 hours. These guys showed up 30 minutes early and got down to business. They were both wearing masks. Very friendly guys, and I marveled at how hard they worked. They were taking pretty big loads up two flights of stairs using a dolly. They used that plastic wrapping stuff to protect the things that weren't in boxes. the job went off perfectly and I was happy to give them a pretty good tip at the end. The lady I communicated with was super nice and efficient. I think we had one brief phone, and the rest was via text. No unnecessary calls or handholding, just relevant information exchanged at the right times. Lucky Moving is a new player in the market, and their prices are lower than their more established competition. But based on a few reviews I took a chance, and glad I did. Honest people, and they know how to work. Admire that ethic. My job was fairly simple. I moved from a studio into a one bedroom. I guess with bigger jobs there's always the possibility of mishaps or miscues, but I'm pretty sure Lucky would solve it fairly and for a fair price. read more

Movers were fine-- worked quickly and were mostly careful with my stuff. My main issue was around communicating pricing-- I used these guys only 5 months ago and it cost $300 (took around 3.5 hours). This time it took much less time and ended up costing me almost twice as much. It wasn't communicated that they would be rounding up to the next hour, and when I raised the issue I was told the person messaging me was not actually customer service.. I never got a receipt or a bill or anything. Super disappointed with the communication -- very bad at setting the expectations. read more
