I came on the second of February ,the parking lot was partially packed but we got a good parking spot near the restaurant.we sat at the bar on the second floor (the attachment of lucky strikes building ) .we got lucky the bar wasn't completely crowded so we got seated immediately the bartenders were amazing they went above and beyond !!! We had 2 bartenders ally and killa and they both were amazing making sure our orders were to our liking refilling our waters and seeing if we wanted more beers or milkshakes they definitely knew what customer service was .we also were looking for good beach spots and other amazing places with views and ally pointed us in the right direction I got one of the milkshakes and the quesadilla combo and my other half got the sliders combo. Lastly ,both bartenders need a raise they were amazing I'd recommend getting them again!!! read more

Lucky Strikes. What can I say??? It's another game room but it's very different from Jungle Fun (owned by fun factory) as it's attracts an older demographic. They are usually crowded and have a lot more games but the token to $$$ is way more expensive. What do you expect it's Ala Moana lol. They have a fine in food area, lots of game (the king fu panda is one of my favorites), and way more prizes to redeem. Tho the amount of tokens these prizes costs and the amount it takes to play to win tickets. You might as well buy the prizes at a regular store lol. After recent multiple visits, I thought it was time for a brief update: I recently visited (since their reopening) to check out and play some games. As far as the restaurant section, they're still observing covid rules and regulations in terms of spacing of guests. 1. First time here: get a game card from one of the many machines on the games floor. You can either pay cash or card. The machine will "suggest" certain denominations for a number of credits (X credits will be deducted from your card to play the games). The machines can also be used to reload and check balances (funds and tickets) on the cards. 2. There seems to be a wide variety of games for all ages alike: air hockey, skee ball, video games, basketball games, etc. I think everyone will find something they want to play for sure. My friends enjoyed the car racing game where up to 4 players can compete against each other. Oh, and I liked the skiing game too. 3. The "active" or non-video game units will allow players to accumulate "tickets" on their cards after a round of play. Tickets will be automatically credited to the player's account/card. These can be used to redeem for items in their shop, which can range from candy to games to uncommon or silly trinkets. 4. The bowling alley/lanes are located on the level ABOVE the games floor. Climb the staircase 1 flight that is adjacent to the entrance on the mauka side of Lucky Strike. On the upper level, one will find another bar as well as the aforementioned bowling lanes. Please NOTE: There are ONLY 3 LANES for bowling. My 2 friends and I (in a feeble attempt) decided to put our names down for a lane on a recent Friday night. The wait was 2.5 hours. Suffice to say, we were gutted. We chose to visit for bowling at another time. 5. The staff make a good attempt at cleanliness. There were workers walking around and doing their best to sanitize the games; though this seemed difficult with the throngs of people. BOTTOM LINE: Games are fun!! We ordered the mahi mahi beer battered fish & chips and the kalua pork tacos. The fish was moist, flavorful and cooked to perfection! The tacos were also juicy, soft and topped with mango cubes. The waiter was very helpful and friendly. The seats were comfortable and spacious, especially given that it has a fully stocked bar. My friend and I decided to stop at Lucky Strike after dinner. We didn't get a chance to participate in bowling. However, we still had a spectacular time. First off, we went to the bar and ordered a Mai Tai and the H-3 drink. The cocktail server was friendly and made the drinks very tasty as well. After that, we played many arcade games for about an hour. Lucky Strike was so entertaining. I highly recommend coming here for a good, fun time. read more

I can't begin to describe how happy this place makes me. I have been coming here for years after work to unwind, and I had built up quite a bit of tickets towards an arcade machine I'd always wanted. But my wallet got stolen while overseas and I thought I'd lost everything. The manager, Mikal Myers, did some serious above and beyond detective work(hopefully helped by the very friendly bartender Kassey) to find my lost balance. I'd recommend ordering when they come around and all at once. We ordered a side rice and it came out 30 minutes later after we finished the food. This was my first time trying out Lucky Strike it is a two-story Palace of fun on the third floor of Ala Moana shopping center next to Macy's. I came here with a Meetup Group to listen to live music and it was good. This is a great place to come as a group and you can come with your kids or as adults and sit in the bar. There are so many options here! Lots of typical bar food hot wings, burgers and all kinds of fries... If you can't find something fun here you might as well stay home! And no it's not a traditional bowling alley this is a modern place with modern gaming. I'm going to come back just for the games... we were promised to dance floor and we didn't get one until a couple hours into the evening. I think having live music with a dance floor is new to Lucky Strike and they're working on it? Prices are exactly what you'd expect to pay in a place that's conveniently located in the mall with free parking. By the way I also heard live music coming from my tie down the mall it was a nice salsa beat and I did wander down there too. It was a cover band trying to please everyone by playing everything from country to Hard Rock. It was ok-ish. I really appreciated the local hard cider with a Hawaiian vibe. Potentially good place for a pau hana on Friday night -- but be prepared to wait. We got to Lucky Strike around 7:00 on a Friday night and to avoid waiting, we went to the upstairs restaurant. We first ordered drinks and then after waiting for a while, we ordered some appetizers to share. My drink was tasty, and it was called the POG. Simple cocktail of coconut rum with passion orange guava juice. Not sure if I would pay $14 again since I barely tasted any alcohol, but I still enjoyed it. The appetizers are also very yummy, and I would 100% order them again. The truffle fries were crispy and light, and had good flavor to them. The poke nachos were crunchy and had a good amount of poke and pineapple toppings. Definitely recommend getting those to share as they're reasonably priced and the portions are perfect for a group of 3-4. Where the stars come off a bit, is the service. The wait staff were friendly, but we felt very unseen for majority of our night. To get menus and place our drink order took more than 15 minutes. And then we probably waited another 20-30 just to place our appetizer order. We were HUNGRY and tried flagging someone to take our order for a while, but I think there was just a lack of coordination with the staff. Initially we planned to order more food, but we were never checked on and so we decided to just ask for the check. But again, it was hard to get someone to even do that. As I mentioned before though, if you're just going for pau hana to talk story, then the wait will not be so much a big deal. To be fair, the upstairs restaurant is more of a bar that serves food for the bowling parties. In our case, we were just a little disappointed since we left wanting more. read more

I am the guitarist in a local band called 11th Hour and we play at Lucky Strike regularly. In fact, we'll be there tonight! The room sounds great, the staff is amazing and we always look forward to the super ono food as well. Pretty much everything on the menu is delicious and they have Guinness ( a band fav). Very chill atmosphere and a real jem for the folks here in Honolulu as they are open til 2 am and consistently a great time is had. One of the few places that still has live rock bands! As a working band on the island of Oahu, we experience a lot of different venues and Lucky Strike is super high on our list! read more

This place is fantastic! It's like a Dave and busters but with better food and has a bit more games for younger kids. My sister had her party there and they held it out on the balcony. Super nice because it wasn't so loud and there were a ton of TVs to watch football on. The food was ono! The sizzling steak was my absolute favorite. Soooo perfectly cooked and flavorful. Cheese pizza there are no complaints my daughter inhaled it and we ordered some chicken wings as well which were great. Service was on point. We ate upstairs to get a quick table. The service was fast and they were very accommodating to our little ones (3 and 1), even getting stools with backs on them so my 3 yr old had more support. Food was good. Fish and chips had a good exterior crunch while the inside was dense and moist! You can sub fries for onion rings or garlic fries! The sliders were also really good and they give a good amount of onion rings- we had left overs. There's one dartslive board tucked in the corner. Their bowling is kinda pricey... we asked about the lane charges and was told we would have to pay $17/hr for our 1 year old. I mean, she can't even hold the ball. My family love going to Lucky Strike together! It's located at the Ala Moana shopping center and they're really easy to find, which makes it a great place to gather. We like to grab tables upstairs (where the bowling alley is located), just because we find it to be less busy... especially on a weekend. We usually have to wait for a table when we're on the bottom floor, but when we go upstairs, we're almost ALWAYS given a table. I would say though that upstairs will not have any games. They literally just have the bar, a few tables, the bowling alley, and one darts machine (I wish they had at least one more). Our server was very friendly as well! He immediately showed us to our table and asked if we wanted to get started on drinks. We had a few beers and cocktails, all of which were very tasty and worth the money. We also ordered some food to snack on... which tasted AMAZING! We found that we also didn't have to wait a long time either! Swung by lucky strikes to get a low key meal. We had 3 dishes, the nachos, fish and chips, and the bacon bleu salad. I don't know if this is bad or not...but the best dish we had was the salad!!! The walnuts had a nice sweetness along with the bacon, everything just worked so well together. The nachos were decent, those jalapenos made it pretty spicy when you bit into the seeds. I thought the cheese was really good and they got it under the layers too which was nice. The fish and chips could have been better, the fries were really good, had a bit of a Cajun kick to them, but the fish's batter got soggy. After all of that played some games. I kind of wish there was a bit more variety of games to play. They do have a lot of ticket games and some fun driving video games and pump it up.
