These are the best crab cakes I've had in San Diego. They are light, moist, and incredibly flavorful.

The atmosphere is laid back They've got indoor and outdoor seating, and outside has plenty of tables to just kick back. I tried the chicken wings 5 piece they came out nice and crispy, nothing crazy, just a solid crunch on the outside and juicy inside. If you like them extra crispy you can ask, but they were already on point. The orange sauce stood out too, not sure what it's called but I'd definitely get that again. Original is what I order Overall, good experience. I'd come back and try more menu items for sure. They also have drinks specials and a mini bar #ChickenWings #FoodReview #CrispyWings #GoodEats #FoodieFinds #ChillSpots

Cross Street Chicken has the best of both worlds- it's where Korean fried chicken meets classic…read moresouthern cooking! They serve creative foods with traditional flavors! Located in the heart of San Diego's Convoy District, this place will not disappoint! The chicken is served to order, each piece shatteringly crisp, with a golden-brown crust and deeply flavorful! Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside (it doesn't get any better than that). For starters, we ordered the fried dumplings, (1) order of Asian sesame seed wings, (1) order of chili oil wings, (1) order of Cajun rub tenders and (1) order of Seoul spicy tenders. The vibe is relaxed with a spacious interior and outside patio, it's the perfect spot for a family or friends gathering. The staff are quick and efficient. Making excellent recommendations for first timer's! Prices are reasonable. And they have a great menu selection! Definitely come check them out!

Spontaneously Came in here before going down the street to our comedy show…read more We order whole ahh chicken, and got the jalepeno sauce, and that honey butter, side of rice, and pickled ralish. The music was too loud for us to sit inside so we sat outside. Definitely was spacious place. We were the only ones there, and I hope this spots stays open and gets more people because their chicken was ffffflllaaaaaavooorrr. Juicy, crispy, some dry AF but still good. Service was cool, your typical gen alpha cat that was always on his phone either on social media or on discord chatting with his gaming friends but also helpful when he needed to be. Lol We'll come back if we're in the neighborhood!

Quick first-impression review…read more Came here on a whim, driving back from a morning appointment. It was 10am, not many surrounding places were open except this place. We walk in, it's got huge wooden booths everywhere. It's got an Asian-inspired flair and decor. Cashier lady was friendly and smiley. She might be the franchise owner (with her husband working on the side on the computer)? Is this a franchise or independently owned? There were like 15 different flavor options, I was skeptical because if a place tries to do too much at once, they just fail at everything. I ordered the Black Aglio chicken wings. Waiting maybe 5 minutes and the order was already ready. The alarms in my head were going off: how could they have made that in such a short amount of time. But worries were set at ease one I took that first bite. It came in a convenient box that I turned into a flat, makeshift plate. At first glance, the chicken was glaze-y and vibrant. Like opening the briefcase in Pulp Fiction. Chicken was delicious: super sticky, super sweet and flavorful. The garlic was subtle, the sweet soy glaze was a bit overpowering but I have a sweet tooth anyway. I'll be back for sure, need to try all the other flavors.

I saw a lot of people picking up to go. Since I was the only here with one other family, service was fast and my server was very nice. She had such a friendly smile. I had to order papaya salad lao style, well, bc its the only way to make papaya salad. Stinky, salty, and potent in aroma and flavor. To me, this is real food. My only disappointment was I asked for spicy level 10, or 11, or 12, and I thought I got a level 1. I thought she misheard me, but I realize my spice tolerance is just over 9000. Haha. The Lao sausage was awesome. Thats the flavor profile I've been craving and it has been quenched today! I really loved this place and its deep flavors. For sure, if i feel like Lao food, ill be here!

The owner is super friendly!! The Lao sausage is one of the best I've ever had.. definitely need to order to try it out! We had the papaya salad and that was good and flavorful but next time I will request for a spicier one (I couldn't get it too spicy as my friend doesn't eat that spicy). They also sell beef jerky there and the spicy mango habanero one was so good! Probably one of the best beef jerky's I had yet!! It is a bit pricey... but well worth it! $20 for a 4oz bag
