ABSOLUTELY 1000% delicious!!! I am lost for words. Lucy Mae's only a pop up location at a few establishments and they need to be recognized. Their crab cakes?! Holy hell. So FREAKIN GOOD. TRUFFLE FRIES ARE DELICIOUS. MAC AND CHEESE? Oh my god. Melts in your mouth. For a pop up, they service, food, is way better than most dine in restaurants. Hands freakin down. Every thing is made to order. Absolutely exceptional. Their vibe style is Maryland themed, southern Baltimore style food. For more locations on their pop ups, see my photos. Be sure to get there before they close up! Because they have a tendency to sell out for the night!

These are the best crab cakes I've had in San Diego. They are light, moist, and incredibly flavorful.

Everything was absolutely amazing. Nick somehow fit us in to cater my husband's memorial dinner…read moreeven though he had been in Arizona for his grandfather's funeral the day before. Nick is all about service and quality. This he provided so well that everybody raved about the dinner. Nick put together a menu of my husbands favorite foods -cheeseburgers, french fries, banana cream pie and million dollar bars. The cheeseburgers were a custom ground blend of grass fed beef in short ribs, brisket and chuck. The french fries were housecut and fried in duck fat and beef tallow. The banana cream pie was served as individual tartlets. The million dollar bars, a British specialty, started with a layer of shortbread, then caramel and chocolate with chocolate ganache. Our guests were crazy about everything. I heard them repeat that this was the best food ever.

The food here at Pho Ga Go is FANTASTIC. I have eaten a lot from here and a few examples are…read moreChicken Pho, Chicken Rice, and Vit Tiem noodles. Chicken Pho, the noodles were soft, there were a lot of chicken, the chicken was tender, and the broth was amazing, the flavor of it is exactly like the flavor of traditional Hanoi Pho. Chicken Rice was really good, especially the chicken, which had A LOT of skin on it and is very juicy and soft, and the Canh Cai Ngot (Vietnamese Choy Sum Soup) which was brilliant. The special dish i ate the most recently is the Vit Tiem Noodles. The noodles were soft. The duck was also very very soft, juicy and tender. The addition "toppings" were incredible like the mushroom and ky tu (Goji berries). The service here was very good. The people was very friendly. The atmosphere was fresh. I personally think this is the best Vietnamese restaurant in San Diego and this would stand out a lot when comparing with different Vietnamese restaurants, too.

One bowl of this dish has a lot of chicken that is very juicy and tender. The noodles are very soft and tastes the same as the ones in Vietnam, not using dried-pho like the others. The broth is needless to say, it is as good as North-Vietnam's. The service here is fantastic with very friendly staffs.

This was a return visit. Our greeter was friendly and seated us without any wait. We did have…read morereservations. Eddie, our server was friendly, with just the right amount of humor and very attentive. He described dishes and offered a hot sauce that was HOT! The Shrimp Bourbon Street was tasty, lots 'o shrimp, yummy dipping sauce, a perfect combo with Seafood Gumbo, to finish off my meal. The Seafood Bisque-appetizer and the Shrimp and Grits meal seemed to satisfy my husband. Our friends ordered Crawfish Etouffee and the Cajun Jambalaya, which were a hit. We commented that there might be some take-home, but it was not to be, the food was consumed on the premises. Our finishing touch of Beignets covered in the powdered sugar and coulis sauce was the perfect finale to our very enjoyable meal. We ate in the dining room, which was busy, but not noisy, and as mentioned , the service was excellent (Eddie) , and patio seating is available. Parking is convenient, so there is every reason to visit Bud's as soon as possible. See ya soon!

Few weeks ago spent a few days in the French Quarter of New Orleans and the food was sooooo good...seeing this place while on a business trip in San Diego I had to try this place and see if it was the real deal or just a pretender. This Cajun restaurant is the real deal. I can't believe it...I highly recommend this place. A must stop here in San Diego. The owner, Bud is from the French Quarter and he makes all the meals and desserts right here. The best. I started with the Seafood Gumbo then Shrimp and Grits...very hearty and excellent in the flavors. Finished with the Bread Pudding. OMG. This is a "5 star must do." Get here and try everything. Bring your family because I can't try everything...but I wanted to.
