Best brunch in GR! Took my mom for Mother's Day. It was crazy busy and we waited for a long time to be seated. But it was totally worth it.

Such a cute little spot. My husband and I ate here for lunch. I had the shrimp po boy. It was amazing. The Cajun aoli paired well with the pickled onions. My husband had an omlett that had goat cheese on it. He wasn't a fan of the flavor. Our food was brought out in a reasonable amount of time. We'll definitely visit again. read more

I haven't been to Lucy's in AGES! (The last time I went, they were still called "Little Lucy's"). Expect to wait a bit (20-30min) just because they're a popular place and close by 3p. I'm currently "limited" to vegan food only (& no caffeine), and was so happy with the options available to me. To be honest I was torn between the smoothie bowl and the vegan skillet. The Vegan Skillet won. The food came out in decent timing (party of 4), and everything looked and tasted wonderful. My brunch-buddies got Shakshuka, Breakfast Sandwich, Sy's Breakfast Pot Pie and a Bacon Roll. My Vegan Skillet was full of flavor, a little spice, and had a nice mix of heat + savory. The cashew cream sauce (whatever it's called) was amazing, the tofu was cooked well, and the potatoes were a mix of crunchy and soft. Fresh spinach was used and the tomatoes + green onion garnish added more color to the dish. (You can add protein if you want to it too, which is a nice option if you're looking for a "lighter" skillet.) read more

Have been wanting to experience Lucy's for the longest time and it was so worth the wait! The food and service was what I was hoping for!!

The service was friendly and prompt! My biscuits were flaky and light, perfectly cooked. I got an egg, over easy on top and it was amazing. The portion was huge, I could only finish half. I would come back here in a heartbeat. They have outdoor seating and it is kid friendly! There is a separate bakery area where you can get a coffee and pastry to go if you're in a hurry. read more

Coming into the unassuming building I found a gem catering to all your breakfast needs and desires. Coming inside I found a clean upscale establishment that duals as a bar. Breakfast is the name of the game here with features such as egg with Béchamel, artisan jams and of course avocado toast graciously served with a friendly waiter with a man bun. Your quintessential millennial experience. So coming in I had about 4 hours of sleep, still in my sweatpants not knowing what to expect, the  waitress graciously accepted me with a warm smile suggesting some drink. The chai spiced with rose petals and spice called out to me. It was a good preparation. If you close your eyes you could really sense the finer rose flavors. There were many good offerings on the menu , complete with vegan takes on fan favorites. But the skillets are the real winners here in my opinion. You cant go wrong with perfectly Kwispy Tates on a very warm but not scalding cast iron, throw In some artisan  meats, fluffy golden eggs, pasture raised I'm most certain. And some finely chopped jalapeños and a relish made with an ingredient called love. This presentation was served by a dapper with an accommodating aura. Upon my sleep deprived predicament I read the wifi password as Polar Beards instead of Polar bears. The waitress got a kick out of that. Even more stunning I could argue is the condiments. Lucy's is a great place for breakfast and brunch! They have lots of good food options on the menu that will satisfy everyone's cravings. (Make sure you try their biscuits!!) Lucy's is definitely more special and better than a typical breakfast diner, but the food didn't completely blow me away. It is also defiantly busy in there, and you most likely will have to wait to be seated, but servers attend to you well! I also love that their bakery is right in their restaurant. :) read more

First impression, parking lot was packed (which makes me feel that food must be good). I visited Thursday at 12. Greeted by friendly hostess, the atmosphere is an industrial cozy feel. Upbeat music, loud, you can still have close range conversations. Menu variety is not overwhelming. The new version of the steak and eggs is abhorrent compared to its predecessor. Bring back the original version (it was amazing). The quality of the cut is nothing short of a Walmart NY strip and there was no seasoning. The old steak and eggs was marinated so well and far better tasting. At least update the online menu, so no one has to get surprised with a new version that is so bland, mediocre, and a waste of money. I used to recommend people to this restaurant because of how good the steak and eggs were, not anymore. Plus no more cream spinach with it, such a shame. We stopped in for breakfast while visiting our friends who live in the area. We ordered cornbread and deviled eggs to share. The cornbread was a bit dry and bland, but the eggs were excellent. I ate the prosciutto and gritz as my main which everyone agreed was probably the best meal at our table - absolutely delicious! Our friend who has never liked gritz gave them a shot and said they'd be ordering them next time they visited. Staff was friendly and attentive and we were able to sit right down without a wait. I love Lucy's! It's by far my favorite brunch spot in GR. There's such an excellent selection of breakfast/brunch items at Lucy's, many classics AND more experimental dishes that I tend to love. Their ingredients are always fresh, and their vegetarian and vegan options are so delicious. I've taken out of town friends to Lucy's at least four or five times to show off what a good restaurant scene we have going here, and Lucy's never fails to impress the outsiders. Lucy's is my favorite breakfast spot in town - I am there almost weekly. However, my two favorite items have been removed from the menu and I am very disappointed: the homemade jam and the smoothie bowl. While their other options are also good, these two items (and their biscuits) were the reason I ate there so frequently. I hope they will bring back their homemade jam and smoothie bowl so that I can come back often. Until then, I'll have to find a different spot. read more

I can't believe I waited so long to try Lucy's! It was amazing! The atmosphere was very pleasant ( I loved all the yellow accents) and the staff was very welcoming! My cousin and I had breakfast here a few weeks ago and were blown away. They offer unique breakfast beverages ( I got a Chai Latte- so yummy) and very interesting breakfast combos! She got the Rambler Scramble, which she loved! It has jackfruit, white cheddar cheese, two eggs, and a yummy Bechamel sauce. I got the breakfast pot pie. It was Amazing! Especially the cheese-covered biscuit! I also got a single flapjack because I always think you can judge a breakfast menu on the quality of their pancakes.
