So we stopped into Luigis after the Christmas tree lighting festival in downtown Brooksville earlier tonight. Never been here before, so we had no expectations. Small dining area with the hustle of waitresses throughout. You're not here for the ambiance, you're here for the food. Started with fried mushrooms. They were huge, hot, and tasty; served with a side of ranch dressing. My son ordered the Big Bob Burger with an up-charge for the fries. The rest of us went with the Luigi's special large pizza. Toppings were sausage, mushrooms, onions, and green peppers. Everything was hot and fresh. I'll let the pictures tell the delicious end to the story. read more

I ordered a large pepperoni pizza. It was the most lousiest and horrible tasting pizza that I've ever eaten. It seems the crust had little cheese on it and then they add extra cheese on top of it, but they didn't cook it long enough to allow the top layer of cheese to melt into the crust so the top cheese layer comes loose when we took a slice from the whole pizza. Also we ordered a large pizza and their large pizza is actually is a size of medium size compare to others. It tasted really bad and it looked bad. I thought I was purchasing Italian style pizza from a Italian restaurant, but it was like Hungry Howie pizza. I will never go back to this restaurant! read more

This place is THE SPOT in Brooksville! The staff is super sweet and the food is so good! Gotta get the chicken parm, it's "George's favorite" for a reason. The chicken is seasoned well and super juicy, definitely my go to! The meatballs are delicious and had a warm center which I notice isn't always the case at other restaurants. They have great pizza and pastas. But Breakfast during the week is horrible. Service for Breakfast on weekends is the worst. The servers are unorganized I watched a server bring a coffee pot go to one table then go back to the counter grab something else and go to another table etc. Instead Of giving everyone at her station coffee. I had to wave her down to get a refill after she walked past me 3 times. Get a new weekday cook, and train your servers how to Give excellent service. read more

My friend and I were walking last at lunchtime. We were hungry, hot, and it's both of our birthdays this week, so we decided to stop in. We order mozzarella sticks and calzones. Both were DELICIOUS. We also ordered wine. I had the moscato and my friend had merlot. Both tasted great even though we got the "cheap" wine. They also have beer (Bud, Bud light, Yuengling, Michelob and Marker 48 on tap) but no liquor :-(. The server was friendly and prompt. I love the decor! American flags, pictures of Frank Sinatra and the Beatles, plus they were playing awesome 1960s music. They also have a TV, so I imagine they show some major sports games. If you are looking for a great little Italian place, give Luigi's a chance! The bathroom was also very clean. read more

Pizza was crust was dry and tough, much like a pizza shell would be as opposed to fresh dough. A large pizza here is only 14". Expensive for what you get, the 14" specialty pizza was just under $20, chicken parm was $16 and average at best. There are much better Italian options in the area. read more

Good breakfast for the most part. They just put out a new menu. what used to be decent prices are now way to high. I get it! Cost have gone up. But raising prices 40% is excessive. A group of seven of us had breakfast here. We each had different items from the menu. I enjoyed the Spinach and Feta omelet. Other selections in our group included sausage, egg and cheese biscuit, pancakes, sunny side up eggs, and grits. Everyone was very pleased with their food. Years ago Luigi's made a great pizza, then we got a pizza that was completely different. We assumed that they had gone to cheaper ingredients or something. We called to complain, and whomever we spoke to acted as if nothing was any different (strange). We have always been afraid to get another pie here, but this breakfast was so good I am now willing to gamble trying another pizza in the hopes that they went back to the good ingredients. read more

I can't believe I haven't written a review before. Their pizza is really the best thing about the restaurant, aside from the beer. Italian dishes are kind of stock, and not inventive at all. I Purchased a Groupon for Luigi's, to Try them, I Drove from Tampa to Brooksville (45 minutes) get there and the have a Paper sign Posted on the door, that reads....No longer Taking Groupon, My Wife and I leave, and on the way to looking for somewhere else out that way, I call to ask why, and the person that answers, says, the Owner is making nothing on the Groupons so He longer accepts them. Well, that is good and well, however, You have received Money from new Potential Customers and that isn't an answer to SCREW, the Potential New Customer, how you handle this as a Business Professional owner, would be to honor, the Promotions which are left. (since you are the one that offered the deal!) no one forced you at gunpoint to offer a groupon Promo. I had the eggplant Parmesan. Very plentiful dish, but WAY TOO MUSHY - comparable to baby food. Enjoyed their tomato sauce, and the service was excellent. She never told us her name, and said "no problem" a LOT - wish servers and other would replace that phrase with "my pleasure." I saw another review that said typical old-style dishes. Beware! Only one employee was wearing a mask and they didn't seem to be practicing social distancing. I was there for a carry out order. No one behind the counter was wearing a mask. I asked the young lady about her mask. She said, " we don't wear masks here". I like Luigi's pizza, but not enough to risk my well being.
