Great place to drop in when you can't figure out what you want. Their menu has about everything you can think of at reasonable prices. Wonderful place to go for lunch and they post a special each day of the week. It's small but ran well for many many years. I remember getting pizza as a kid and my parents taking us to 41 drive-in for a movie. We love to support family own businesses in our little town. Also, food served hot and quick. This place is bad. When I say bad, I mean horrible. I suspect a lot of these reviews are either 1: FAKE 2: PLANTS 3: Done by Brooksville locals who grew up here and tend to think Pizza Hut is the best and Golden Corral is where they go for a fancy dinner. Anything besides the pizza will make you want to vomit. Our "Chicken Marsala" was, I suspect, cooked in the tin can it came in. There was about an inch of water/liquid at the bottom of the tin it came in. Bland beyond belief, except for the tin flavor from the floppy, canned mushrooms. Visible roaches on our visit. The silverware was dirty. L Like MANY of the restaurants here in Brooksville, I suspect this place gets by on the ignorant locals who have never been out of Brooksville. They do not know any better, this is the ONLY non chain pizzeria in the town. When you are the only game in town, I guess you can stink this bad and get away with it. read more

Someone said this was '80s decor, that is confusing because there is only Frank Sinatra facts, Beatles and other 1950s icons all over the place. People are very nice, food is generally good. First two times were good, we had pizza once then parm plates the next. The third time was sub sandwich take out, and I had a beer while I waited. They weren't very busy, but I still had time to read 1/3 of my newspaper before my food was ready. Two subs one beer and a small tip was $26 a bit steep. When I got home the bread was so large, that felt like all there was. It was chewy and gummy with the tomato sauces and just dry overall. Need clots of water to wash it down. I could not finish because there was a fist sized piece left with no filling left. Not the best value in town. read more

Good little stop on the way to Homosassa from Lakeland! Food was very good and reasonably priced, however, the service was lacking a little. This could be due to us arriving around 9pm and they close at 10pm. Would definitely come again but would hope for a little better service. read more

I really enjoy eating at Luigi's. I've been eating here for years. Love all the food, especially the breakfast pizza. Well I went to eat here Friday night. It was busy of course. But the service was still excellent! I had a Big Bob burger(MyFavorite) it was wonderful, very delicious and lots of fries with it. The person I was having dinner with had Alfredo with shrimp and a salad. She enjoyed the food. Except that there was a eyelash in her salad. But the waitress brought a new one to replace the salad. Great service, great food. 4/5 Stars. read more

I have lived in Brooksville since 1978. I have been to Luigi's so many times & have enjoyed it. I actually had my first date here! I have lived outside of Brooksville for a few years after coming home I have told my daughter about Luigi's. We stopped in last week, OMG! What a difference, we had the lunch special of a personal pizza & salad. It took so long for our pizzas to come out it was ridiculous. When the waitress finally did bring them she was giggling saying http the cook forgot them, YES they were burnt, mine more then my daughters. It took forever to flag the waitress down once again & tell her my pizza wasn't edible. She was very rude taking my pizza away in a mad swipe. The next pizza looked better but the centre wasn't done at all. It became impossible to get the waitress again plus we had other plans & had to be going. I told the waitress I wanted to see the manager & was told there wasn't one. I have a degree in restaurant management & grow-up in my Mother's restaurant right here in Brooksville. In the first place if a waitress at our restaurant would have brought that burnt dish to a customers table I would have fired her & the cook on the spot. She ended up calling the owner George Kirshy on the phone, he basically called me a lier! Said I was just out for free food. Finally he cut my $21.00 bill (which was not added right for two lunch specials) to $10.00 I tossed a $10.00 bill down & walked out, telling the people going in to run for their life's . I have never been treated like that in my life. There was not a single ounce of pride in that place including the owner. Treating customers like I was treated will so close your doors & after being around for so many years it's sad. I've been in and out of this place since it opened back in the seventies. It was well known in B'ville for its Hoagies back then and I love the Steak Hoagie now with peppers, cheese, 'shrooms and the gravy makes it all go down smoothly, but the pizza is one of the beat to be had anywhere. They don't use the rabbit pellets for sausage and it's really flavorful. That's usually hard to accomplish for the meager price they ask. 4 1/2 stars!!! read more

Been several times for dinner. Dine in was satisfactory. Noisy when full. Attentive staff. Also have done takeout. Everything well packaged hot and cold for transport. Good pizzas and Greek salads. A bit pricey. Predictable traditional Italian fare. That is a complement. Will go again. read more

I ordered pizza & a hoagie takeout from them last week and was pleasantly surprised by how tasty it was. The pizza reminds me of the pizza you get in WV or the Pittsburgh area. It's a fluffy crust and not for everyones taste. It obviously is handmade though and had a great taste and texture if you like that sort of thing. The place reminded me of the typical little no frills pizza dives up north and very very busy the night I went in to pickup. The hoagie was also very good but I asked for the gravy on the side and truthfully it tasted canned to me. I've also never heard of eating gravy on a steak hoagie before. The portion sizes that people were ordering in the restaurant all looked large and tasty but they were mainly the classic old school italian stuff that I usually make at home. I would completely order from them again when I'm in the mood for a fluffy pizza :) read more

If I could give this place Zero stars I would. Ordered for a work event and got charged insane amounts for pizza that was okay, and then attempted to order a salad and a pizza online to give the place another try they call and cancel the order when I am pulling into the parking lot to pick it up because they are no longer using online ordering. Not worth the hassle that you get put through to even order. Then you call to ask for a manager and all you get told is "I don't know where one is". read more

What a wonderful place! My family and I were lucky enough to fly down here to Florida to see our grandfather after 9 years. We decided to come out to Luigi's and try their food since we're Italian. The sauces are homemade and delicious! Pizza is thick and savory! It was a great choice and really satisfied my family's wants. Such nice people/service and amazing food! We were so greatful to have had the pleasure to eat a GREAT pizza from Luig's Pizza in Brooksville. The (variety) Pizza's was fresh & delicious, the crust was buttery & good. Also, the salad was fresh & delicious. We've had plenty of pizza's delivered to our job but nothing like Luig's!!!! :) It was delivered on time 11:00am. We didnt have to call them nor wait like we use to do, KUDO'S goes out to The owner ( Mr. George) & staff. Luig's is #1 on our list!.. Great little place to get awesome pizza and Italian food. We have never had bad service or meal. Home made meatballs are great, pizza and topping fresh and tasty. Highly recommend Luigi's. Its a small family place with service with a smile. They really make you feel at home. read more

The food is average. The Calzones are way over priced. They have been there for so many years, and seem to be doing a great business, I don't know understand why they don't invest to have it enlarged. You have to wait for a table then you feel like you're sitting with the people at the table next to you because the tables are so crammed next to one another in the center of the room...or you sit in a very old uncomfortable booth. Used to go there but they refuse to seat two people in a booth when there was 4 open tables. That was the last straw as I go there about four times a month. I put up with it because it's only a minute from my house and I eat every meal out. I don't have time to be neglected like this with pizza Villa so close and never have this issue with them. America - Do you enjoy horrible service, rotten ice tea or eating off silver ware with dried food stuck it ? Yea I didn't think so, that's why i highly recommend to you DO NOT eat at Luigi's Pizza. My dining experience went like this - While driving down restaurant row in Brooksville we decided to go to Luigi's Pizza. After ordering our food and receiving our beverage's we told our waitress that everyone at our tables ice tea tasted rotten to which the waitress literally sneered at my family with a hateful glare and snatched our glasses off the table. Upon finally returning with our food and beverages i told the waitress two of us had rolled open our napkin to find our silver ware was dirty with visiable food stuck to the forks and knife's. With a hateful tone of voice the waitress told my family "everyone make's mistakes" and we agreed.The waitress then brought new silver ware rolled up in a napkin and i pointed out that the new silver ware also had piece's of food visibly stuck to it.The waitress then told my family in a hateful tone "leave and never come back". My family had been eating at this place since they first opened many many years ago in the old Publix shopping center when they had pride in their food but we will never ever go back. The food is over priced the ice tea is rotten and the silver ware is dirty [ can you say "food poisoning" } and the wait staff is horrible and very rude. The management and staff obviously doesn't realize that it's us - we the people - that have supported them all these years and it is us -we the people- that will shut them down, not to mention that in any business the costumer is always right [especially when there is dried food visibly stuck to the silver ware]. As a musician it affords me the opportunity to be a writer and blogger for national dining media so I write and blog restaurants all over America and I will include Luigi's Pizza in the list for "The worst place's to eat in America".. read more
