I am giving our waiter three stars, the food gets a zero ! He would have gotten 5 stars but he should have refused to serve my husband's food. This is a great place for breakfast! Cute, retro diner design with indoor and outdoor shaded seating. We went twice in our four days in Myrtle Beach, and I had the "veggie" omelet scramble both times. Well cooked and seasoned eggs combined with a ton of fresh spinach, tomatoes, bell peppers, and onions--nothing to complain about! My husband had eggs and corn beef hash one morning and a beef and pepper omelet the next; both were good. Lots of choices for sides, and they even have brunch cocktails. Prices were very reasonable, especially considering this is a tourist-trap town. read more

In Myrtle Beach for vacation with my mom & aunt. We were too late for breakfast at the hotel-recommended location, so I whipped up Yelp & saw Lulu's. The timing was right so we gave it a whirl. I have a dairy allergy, and the waiter was so incredibly helpful with suggestions & made sure my food was prepared without dairy. Even without the the tasty cheese, the spinach, mushroom, onion, pepper egg thing was amazing - and the cocktails are on point. This is going to be our breakfast spot all week! read more

Visited Lulu's two days in a row while staying at the Camelot across the street. Kim was our waitress. Chicken and waffles were awesome! Then next meal was the banana nut french toast. It was just okay. I preferred the regular french toast and added sliced bananas and chopped pecans to it. Service was a bit slow for a party of 6. Overall, the price was fair, the food was good and hot when it arrived! I recommend this place! I will definitely be back! read more

The food and our waitress were great but I had to knock a couple stars off because we got kicked out of a table for a family who came in after us. I came in and stood by a table that just opened up to make sure we got it and then promptly got asked to leave it after we sat down because a family who came in AFTER me, asked for a table. If you're going to have a "seat yourself" policy, you prob shouldn't ask people, who were clearly there first, to leave a table just because a family asked one of your staff for the next available table. That literally destroys the purpose of the "seat yourself" policy. read more

We picked Lulu's for breakfast after reading reviews. It did not disappoint. We ate here for breakfast both mornings (just a short vacation to Myrtle Beach). There were four of us (husband and I and another couple) and we all LOVED the food. None of our meals were repeats, 8 meals among the 4 of us across 2 breakfasts. The Traditional Benedict, Charleston Benedict, Monterey Scramble, Banana Bread French Toast, Elvis French Toast, Lulu's French Toast, Big Chicken Biscuit, and Sausage and Egg Biscuit were all consumed and moaned over. My husband and I went to Lulu's for breakfast during our stay in myrtle beach. Our server, Sarah B, was disengaged with us throughout our entire time here. She did not ask us if we would like more coffee or water and our food was almost an hour late. The table next to us walked in 10 or so min after us, ordered and received their food all before we were even able to get a coffee refill. I got the big chicken biscuit and it was missing the tomatoes after taking 40 mins to be prepared. Our server also had an "IDC" attitude and didn't care to offer anything to help at the end , Instead she said she would rather not ask us about our experience bc she knows how it went. My family had lunch here today based on a referral from a local hotel. Now, I'll pass along the referral to you! First, our lunch was very good. All items were great! We had the grilled homemade pimento cheese sandwich, Lulu's grilled cheese, and a fish basket. We also tried the fried pickles appetizer. Again, ALL good! Neat menu! You'll find something you like, I'm sure! We also found that the staff was very attentive and friendly. Today, they were a little overwhelmed with the crowd and tables didn't get cleared for a while. Okay, they'll get that under control with a little more experience. Still, orders were taken AND food was served timely. I'm putting this in the moderate price range, 'cause technically with a drink, you'll probably edge over $10 with several items. But I think it's cheap for this Myrtle Beach area. I don't understand how this place could get anything but 5 stars. It has so much personality on the inside and outside. The service was great and the food was amazing. I had Lulu's grilled cheese. It was the best grilled cheese I have EVER had, and I eat a lot of grilled cheese. It was extremely flavorful, yet at the same time not overpowering. I didn't want to eat it because I didn't want to stop eating it. I wanted to eat it forever and I never wanted it to end!!! The fries were awesome and had a really good flavor. My dad had a grilled cheese with bacon and loved it. He had the chips instead of the fries and said they were the best chips he'd ever had, and he eats a lot of chips. If I lived in Myrtle Beach, I would absolutely be a regular at Lulu's. read more

My family and I arrived in Myrtle Beach on a Friday evening. The Yelp reviews were few for the area. We found all the restaurants we read about had long waits. We happened upon Lulu's Cafe. We were initially unsure because while all the other restaurants were packed, Lulu's Cafe was empty except for one family. We were greeted warmly by the staff. The menu has a great selection of American classics and comfort food. I had the Lulu's Grilled Cheese. It was unique and delicious! My sister had the Loaded Grilled Cheese which she also enjoyed. My mom had the chicken fingers that were very well done. My infant nephew was with us. The staff was so accommodating. I definitely recommend this restaurant! read more

Our family ate breakfast at Lulu's Cafe. With 4 people, we were sat at a picnic table outside that was too small for 4 people to eat comfortably. The home fried potatoes were great, but that was about it. Pancakes were not very good. Chocolate Chip pancakes had so much chocolate in them, they should be a dessert. They use thick toast, so you only get one slice. You have to butter your own toast and they give you only a few butter packets to do so (you have to ask for more). You also have to ask for salt and pepper as there is none on the table. Sausage is not good at all. Service is also not very good. Water tastes like it came out of a hose. I only received 2 eggs when I asked for 3. Since our waitress was not around, I had to ask the hostess. She sends over a different waitress who walks up to our table and says "What's up?" in a snarky, teenage snap. This could be a nice place with some effort in quality and service. This is what happens when they typically have endless customers in the busy season. Now because of Covid, they actually have to work for it. read more

Cute little place with a nice outdoor seating area. Within walking distance from tons of hotels which is always nice. Only went for breakfast which was good food, filling and priced right. They do offer a kids menu with several good options which is always good! The waiter we had was super, he was nice, friendly and made suggestions and that is something I always like...no greater disappointment to me than asking the wait staff about menu items and they act like it is a major inconvenience or they have never eaten the food! Overall good place for a quick easy in and out breakfast, good food for the money and friendly staff. I can say I would return on my next visit if staying along that part of the strip! read more

I discovered Lulu's last summer and absolutely fell in love and tried to return as often as I could. Crab eggs benedict, grilled cheese with apple and brie, and daily specials (pumpkin pancakes!). The menu was outstanding with variety, the interesting (and standard) selections and everything looked absolutely delicious. The people were so nice and laid back. However, I returned this past weekend and something had changed. What made this place funky, fun and delicious seemed to be gone. The menu changed and was almost dumbed down and standardized. If you like simple standard American food, this is still a cute place. However, what I loved about this place, the eclectic food and the local cafe feel seems to have left. I looked forward to Lulu's everytime I came to Myrtle Beach, but now, I'm not so sure. The menu was so boring, I don't really have a reason to return. read more

Worse service ever, worker was rude to the kids, not a family friendly place. Workers have bad attitude, they would slam the cup of drinks on the tables, with a mean looking face. The place is self seating, so you would have to wait for table. If they decided to just sit and talk, then you would have to wait longer. You would have to hover tables, and you would get dirty looks from other people waiting for the tables. Not recommended for family or big groups read more
