This place is definitely a hidden gem!! I've been here for 2' services so far. The first service I had was a Japanese Head Spa. Second service I had was a face wash, and then head wash They have an entire area set up in the back where you lay down and put your head in the sink like you would a salon but you're laying down on a type of massage table and they give you a nice drape to wear. They start out by giving you some type of essential oil head massage. It feels wonderful. They use some very nice smelling products on your hair not a perfume smell but just a really good wholesome smell. Again a relaxing head massage and neck rub. They have a room where they can either blow dry your hair, which is extra or you can do it yourself. It's a very very cool place and they really care about your satisfaction with the service. I really wanted to like this place. It was super clean on the inside and well decorated. I looked at the website prior to booking, so I knew about how much a pedicure should be for my daughters and I. I regularly get pedicures so I am familiar with the costs and quality of salons in the area. When I walked up to the counter, there was a sign flat on the counter that stated all services paid with a card were an extra 3%. There was not an ATM in the salon, nor did I see an ATM close to the salon. Had there been a more visible sign on the door or on the website, I would have gone to get cash before checking in. My girls and I each got a different level of pedicure. I got the #3, and mine started about 7-10 minutes after my daughter who got the #2 was started. My pedicure was completed less than 5 minutes after hers. I had gel from my last pedicure, and they charged $7 to take it off, which I have never had at another salon unless I was only there for a polish change. The removal of my gel polish was also very sloppily done as the girl nicked my toe with the tool several times causing me to bleed. The girl also clipped my skin instead of my cuticle on a different toe. The massage I received was shorter then advertised for the pedicure I chose, and I chose that pedicure specifically for the amount of time it said for the massage. Both of my girls loved their pedicures. The space is beautiful and clean too. Unfortunately, I feel the service I received along with hidden fees will prevent me from going back there for another service. read more

I went in for basic pedicure. Have been going here since they opened Yesterday was different. Never ever felt so uncomfortable with the update. Would not take no for an answer. Went with two friends. The technicians besides the upscale never talk to us just each other in a foreign language. This was a reason I had switched to Lumi. The girls were always so sweet, never pushed the upscale and talked to me. My technician was so hard on my feet that I was very sore that night then she used a pumice stone on the back of my foot and caused it to bleed. I can't put on my tennis shoes nor my sandals that have a strap in the back. For now I'm stuck with Flip Flops I went in to talk to the manager since I was so unhappy and the man at the front desk said he was out to lunch. He took a picture of my foot and took my cell number. I was looking for a new nail salon, my daughter and I came here for pedicures. The facility is nice as were the ladies that performed our pedicures. The pedicures were good. I decided to return to have a dip on my nails. I was very happy that they have you wash your hands upon entry, not all salons do this. Ann performed my dip and my nails turned out ok. Here is my rub, I went to pay and the service came up as $48 but I was charged $53. I was paying cash and questioned the difference, the young lady said she would go check to see why it was more, she checked and returned and told me it was because my nails were long. I have been having my nails professionally done for 20 years and have had dips performed for the last 8 years, I have never been charged more for the length of my nails. The young lady asked if I had been advised this up front, I was not. She said she would just charge me the $48 this time but future visits would be more. When I told her I would not return, she charged me $53. Very disappointing in this competitive day where customers have choices. read more

I had some special requests for shape and pattern and she was so willing to try anything and constantly checked in to whether I was liking it! Not to mention she was super sweet and funny. I am beyond upset at this salon. My sister and I have been coming here for pedi's and scalp messages since they opened. We haven't got the scalp message every time but once a month we meet here for the #3 pedicure with gel, $75 a pop for each of us not including tip. That's not what I'm upset about... I took my 4 year old daughter with us this time today to have a girls pamper day. She got gel polish on her hands and toes... no manicure, no pedicure, no filing, no clipping of nails, literally just the gel polish. Took the lady about 15/20 min. They turned out adorable. I go to check out for the both of us, my pedi and her polish, they tried to say my 4 year old nail polish was $56. I was SHOCKED. I told the girl straight out that that's absolutely absurd and I'm not paying that. I could not believe that they tried to charge me $56 for gel polish on my daughters fingers and toes. I was fuming mad. They said they'd give me $10 off because they didn't disclose the price up front and I told her I'd pay $30 and not a cent more and that's me being generous. I could not believe the audacity of this business charging as much as a full blown pedicure for a adult, for a CHILDS gel polish. I'm seriously considering never coming back and I will be calling the manager for clarification on where they get off charging that amount. 10% off for kids under 10 is clearly labeled on their service menu and THAT wasn't even discussed. I was gifted a scalp massage for my birthday and will probably never go back. When I first went back into the treatment area I changed my top into one of their covers and sat In a super comfortable chair, was offered a blanket and pillow for comfort. She started off with some kind of oil with no smell and massaged my scalp for maybe 2 minutes total. During this time also they have a steamer going but it smelt like it hasn't been cleaned in a while so it was like hot mildew smell or like you left the laundry in the wash for 2 days. Thankfully it kept turning off because I'm assuming it was out of water but she didn't refill it so it kept beeping until another lady came and added more water to it. She then started washing my hair but was just raking her fingers through my hair no massage whatsoever, but I figured she will massage with the conditioner or other oils like mentioned in the description. NOPE! She washed my hair 2 times and it wasn't with any fancy shampoo, just bed head. The arm and shoulders "massage" just felt like someone was putting lotion on me but was more of a "massage" compared to the scalp massage although some points felt like she was just slapping my skin. She couldn't figure out the face mask so it kept slipping off half my face and at one point covered my nostrils. When I was done I looked around at the other people in there getting the same service and they all looked like they were getting an actual scalp massage with the shampoos. Not sure if the gal I had has ever done this before or not but it's was very disappointing especially because the videos look so much different. The best part was where I was leaving the girl at checkout asked how things were and I said "okay" and then she proceeded to ask what I didn't like. I then explained to her all that I mentioned above and she said "ohhh sorry.....cash or card?". Overall a nice place but terrible service. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! read more
