Sent wrong order...given no phone number for issues, couldn't get through by email. Just don't...too expensive to trust this place.

Yesterday I went to the Lummi Seafood Market at the Lummi Te'Ti'Sen Center near Ferndale WA exit…read more260 off the I-5. I was greeted so warmly and had the honor of meeting Paul and George. I shared with them that I was purchasing a special treat for my best friend who recently had a tumor from her head. I was watching salmon be fileted right before my eyes. I purchased king salmon freshly harvested by generational Lummi fisherman. Today I traveled to cook this for my friend as she recovers. Embarrassing as it is I called in to ask the best method to cook the salmon and how to tell if it's done. Over the phone I was instructed by a very friendly employee. And what do you know!? The market has a pintrest! My friend and I extend our gratitude for this salmon. There's just something I can't put into words knowing that this harvest is being used for healing. A special thank you to the stewards of the land who have been fishing in the Salish Sea since time immemorial. Muchisimas gracias.

I ordered salmon roe from Lummi Seafood Market on May 25, 2026. My credit card was charged immediately for the product and shipping, but the order never shipped and remained in "Confirmed" status. I made numerous attempts to contact the business by phone, email, and text to obtain an update and after several day/ weeks, I later requested cancellation. I never received a response. After weeks without shipment or communication, I had to dispute the charge with my credit card company to recover my money. Unfortunately, this was a very frustrating experience. Do Not Buy from HERE!!!!!!

Well it was going ok till I got to check out, but I'll start at the beginning- they do not have…read moreenough carts for starters, they have 3 or 4 total and then a few flat bed trolly carts which isn't easy for those with limited mobility, but while that was annoying it wasn't a deal breaker- some of the stuff is a good deal especially if you don't have a Costco membership but it's still pretty comparable to Safeway/winco if you are good with clipping coupons- obviously this place is more for bulk and such but has a lot for the ordinary house hold- found my coffee syrups and a few other things and headed to the register- we did start at the little red triangle that says line starts here but as lines go just kept following the person in front of me- now the cashier stepped away dealing with the customers in front of me (who i was following from the red triangle sign) she comes back looks at me and says the line starts at the red triangle, trying to signal me to move to the back of the line- that wasn't gonna happen, I said yeah I know I just moved forward- got a blank stare and she continued with the customer in front of me- when I got to the reg like 1.5mins later it was very lack luster in service, I did decline a small box but would have though she could have helped loaded my few items into the cart to help move the process and as I walk with a mobility aid which takes one of hands, help out a person who has limited mobility but I'm assuming since she thought I cut the line even tho I didn't she wanted to have a tude about it which sucks cus we were talking about coming back and stocking up on a few things that peaked our interest but I'll go to winco and Costco if this is how your gonna treat your customers-

And it wasn't too cold outside. They had heaters that helped keep warm while waiting. The server was very friendly and had good recommendations. We ordered a dozen of 4 different types of oysters, an order of crab, shrimp, and a chowder of some sort. The food came out pretty quick especially having every single oyster shucked by hand. The food was delicious, it all came in a tray with ice, and plated beautifully. There was a couple different sauces and they went really well with everything.

I was really looking forward to this, and was really let down by the service. As the rest of my family was ordering at the counter, my baby began crying so I hopped out of line to find somewhere quieter to give her a bottle. I sat down at a completely empty section, started feeding her, when a waitress came up to me and bluntly told me there's no open seating. I explained, with a crying baby in my arms, that I know there isn't open seating and that my family was at the counter ordering and that I wasn't planning on sitting in my current (again, completely empty section) spot and that I was just trying to calm down my daughter. I was met with an eye roll and an even blunter "Well there's no open seating here, you can't sit here." ????? Some understanding, or a suggestion of where to go, would have gone a long way. This was my first mother's day, and my first food outting with my daughter, and starting it off this way was so uncomfortable and awkward that I'm not sure I'll come back here.
