I came by at the recommendation of another server at a different Breakfast Place. It was very busy inside for being 9:45 on a weekday. I sat at the bar and was immediately greeted and given my water. They have all the usual breakfast items but specialize in all different types of Eggs Benedict. My favorite breakfast is biscuits and gravy with eggs and sausage, so I ordered the small. It came with one biscuit, tons of Gravy, 2 eggs Over Easy and two sausage links. Everything was great, but the biscuit was on the hard side. Tasty though! I will go back-the gravy was hot and tasty and the service was excellent! Also-I had a feeling that a lot of the peeps in there were regulars and felt like "home". I love coming here. It has a unique design to the interior. The staff are all super nice and helpful. Their customer service is absolutely superb just like their food. After being totally disappointed by Lumpys neighbor in the same plaza, I went to have breakfast . What a breath of fresh air. Great egg white omelette. Quick service. The waitress is delightful and is attractive. Had a Pleasant time there. Unfortunately I had to go back to Lumpy's neighbor ( CPR PHONE REPAIR) and pay $353.00 for a phone that only had a cracked glass. It never worked again properly. It was a great way to have breakfast after going so long without a good sit down meal. Food - I ordered a Full Breakfast with Linguica, Sunny Side Eggs, Sourdough and a side of sliced tomato with Coffee. Sunny side eggs - whites were incredibly runny - needed a minute in the salamander or the oven. Linguica good. Hashbrowns - cold and crunchy (not in a good way) Typically, that's where this ends. Service - Incredible! From the receipt, If I remember correctly, her name was Hailey? She was incredibly attentive - asked how everything was. Had I not been in a hotel for the past 30 days eating from a microwave - I would have sent back breakfast. Her service delivery made me pay double. Someone please commend her for taking the time to listen and provide exactly what I wanted - ALOT of coffee! Breakfast can be hard, I'll give them a chance to recover again. Went here one night with my family for dinner and was very impressed! Our waitress (wish I remembered her name) was so sweet. Very friendly and efficient. Food was wonderful! I had the Philly Cheese sandwich and split mt Garlic Ball Park fries with my husband. They were so good. my family was also very happy with their food too. Not one complaint. Lumpy's has lots of choices, something for almost everyone. It is a casual attmosphere and very comfortable too. We need more places like Lumpy's and less of the unimaginative, mindless chain restaurants that there seems to be too much of in this area! read more

I love breakfast foods and can eat them any time of the day! Lumpy's Diner serves breakfast all day. I have only gone a couple of times, but the times I have gone I was treated well and the food was good. My food did take a minute to arrive, but when it did, it was fresh. I'd recommend it if you have time to spare and would not recommend it if you are in a hurry to get somewhere. Based on Yelp reviews as a reward for not crying i headed here right after getting my Covid-19 booster shot. Very much an old time diner look and feel. Pretty busy for 10 am on a Friday but i got 1 of 3 open tables. Service was prompt but the food was delicious. I got the Chicken Fried Steak omelet and it was so good. The eggs Benedict we're over cooked, the avocado i spent extra on was BLACK, the packaging was atrocious, & allll the sauce and gravy was spilled at the bottom of the bag!! Like how is this edible. The bag could have easily contaminated the whole order, AND GUESS WHAT when I called to attempt to have something fixed they put me on hold then HUNG up on me AND now they are "Temporarily Closed???" Not sure who they ask to leave positive reviews, I'm sure employees & their families are encouraged to post high-star ratings to help offset the accurate negative reviews. This location is farrrr worse than the Pittsburg location... IN. EVERY. SINGLE. WAY. Service was barely acceptable to begin with, but when problems occurred with my food (because I'm always the lucky recipient of hair & mold & such!), they literally became hostile & tried to insinuate that Iiiii must have been involved! Sorry guys, but I don't have brown, straight hair-- nor does anyone at our table. AND FURTHER, how would this benefit me in any way??? First, I DO NOT allow remakes of my food (for obvious reasons) so "getting something for nothing" is impossible. Second, I didn't get to eat with my group, I left the place still starving, and I had to go elsewhere for a quick bite ALONE since everyone else had eaten. Lose-lose situation for me. This isn't the first review on there being hair in someone's food at this establishment, soooo perhaps it's time to check themselves & their standards. There are easy fixes for this... servers' hair in a pony tail, braid, or bun (basically any style besides down, loose, & flopping around) as well as kitchen staff wearing hair nets or hats. Oh also, perhaps train your servers to understand how petting/scratching a customer's pet & then serving food WITHOUT washing hands can transmit allll kinds of dander, bacteria, yuck (including HAIR) not to mention the violations of safety requirements. Girl Time at Lumpys is always nice. Breakfast then a movie. This place is very busy. The host and wait staff are very nice and attentive. I normal get a Belgium waffle but this time the waffles was 4 minis. They were super cute but not crunchy on the outside and tender in the inside like the menu says. It was rather thick and soft. I only ate two. Kind if disappointed because it didn't kill my waffle fix. Love the fact that they have turkey and chicken sausage. Yasss! The mimosas are the real deal. I think we all left tipsy on a small glass that we tried to drown with OJ. Atmosphere was nice, place always packed. Next time I will make sure to order Belgium waffle if they still serve them.
