Strangely the parking situation tonight was terrible, my husband had to double park, call the restaurant and ask they bring his pick up order out to him. Nice they were able to do that. By the time he got home the meat in the salad was barely warm. Tasted like ground meat. I tried something new and I was less than impressed. Luna Grill used to be our going out go to place, but I think we are going to make some changes, pay a little more elsewhere a get a better meal experience. I usually go to the Luna in Poway, this was my first time at Bressi Ranch. It was ok. Employees were very nice and helpful. I had forgotten about the garlic sauce because usually I'm asked when ordering, but they came by the table a couple times asking if we needed anything and were happy to get me some. The one thing I felt was that the meat might have been more over cooked than normal and not as fresh and the rice didn't seem on par as it usually is. It was't very late, around 6pm, but they were not very busy when we came in. This can sometime effect the freshness of the food if it was prepped for a busier night. Store did not answer the phone for a call-in order. The website was slow and confusing. The quantity of food was great. But the freshness needs improvement. Both the gyro meat and the pita bread tasted like it had sat out all day. Very dry, almost crunchy - which is not something I'd expect from a pita. I just went in to make my order to go. I have dairy allergies and I did specifically tell the young man working the register that I did not want the gorgonzola cheese on my walnut apple salad. It ended up in my salad when I got home. I am so sad because I can't eat it! And I asked for the flat cut chicken kabob meat in the salad. I always get that. Overall, Luna Grill has good service and good food. I think it's a healthier option than most fast food restaurants. However, they do not accept cash. I'd think a big corporate chain would accept cash. -3 stars for their new NO CASH policy. It's also pretty bad that their employees will no longer get cash tips. read more
