I know restaurants are struggling but what a disappointment it was to find that they were using iceberg lettuce on my favorite salad now instead of a spring mix. It's not the same. Also, eating in on paper plates with plastic utensils does not seem right when the prices have increased so much. I feel for the restaurant but it's still frustrating. read more

They know what they're doing and what they're talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. The food was super good it's been a while since I had it. Highly recommend the loaded fries they are soo good!! The restaurant was really clean as well and love that the staff I interacted with had masks on! Omelin took my order and she was very sweet. She greeted me and my friend as soon as we walked in. I was very disappointed with the veggies in my appetizer. I ordered the Fire Feta w/veggies. The carrots almost looked like the peelings or else they were hardly cut at all! I've had Luna Grill cater to our place of employment before and it was really good. This was actually my first time visiting the place and its divey! I got the Greco Bowl and it was pretty good. Reminded me of carne asada fries but in a Greek version. I liked it, wish there were more in the southbay as I am from Imperial Beach, but most of these seem to be quite a distance away. Wow! This place should be A S H A M E D for the level of customer service provided! And I certainly hope somebody from Luna Grill will read this and recognize there are problems and be WILLING to work to change so they can earn my business back. Friday 12-13-19 we placed an order via PHONE (ya know, the old fashioned way). We avoided online ordering and delivery because we have encountered long wait times. When the order arrived home ($75 worth of food), we were missing 1 entree. We called the store and were offered a "free" meal next time or we could return to the store and pickup the missing entree. We live a 10 minute drive from said store... so, either 1 person would go without their order or drive 10 minutes each way, park, go into store and arrive home 30 minutes later. Crummy options. I asked that they replace item AND have it delivered to my home. Fairly simple request, I believe. And I would have been SATISFIED and this story would not be in process... NOT POSSIBLE, we were told by a "manager". Door Dash "manages" the delivery portion and the restaurant can't "order" from door dash... I am not an unreasonable person, Luna gets top props for their product- which I love. But the execution and delivery needs help! Fix yo problems Luna RSD. My meal was ready when I arrived. I was pretty hot under the collar. No apologies, no "free" meal for my trouble or aggravation (yes, I asked). On Veterans Day Weekend, my wife and I realized 10 seconds after paying for our lunch that the Luna Grill App offered Veterans and Active Duty a buy one get 09-11NOV. I asked the cashier, not Andrew as the receipt suggests, if I could have the offer applied. She said no and that since I hadn't mentioned it before, 10 seconds prior, she couldn't offer it to me. She stated that I could return again, except I RETURN forward deployment in Japan tomorrow. Makes no sense. It's just a simple thing to do, especially when Luna Grill is offering this benefit. The main reason we visited, is we love the food and missed having it. Guess I'll have next year to enjoy this little Veterans Day benefit. read more

I love Luna grill. Their ground sirloin is so delicious. Soup is also very tasty the lemon chicken rice one. Sometimes I get the chipotle chicken wrap. Prices are a little high for some of the plates but I don't mind once in a while because the quality is good. Only thing I don't like at this location is when they charge me for extra sauce. I have been to so many locations...mission valley....clairemont...Encinitas...Carlsbad and not one of those locations has charged me for one tiny sauce. I only want one extra... I like to keep my options healthy and Luna Grill has always been one of my go to spots for lunch since I work in the area but the last few times I've ordered wraps the amount of protein has been pretty bad. I understand cots have gone up but it's like they skimping on the protein and filling it up with veggies, I mean if I wanted to order a salad sandwich I would just ask for that. Before the wraps would be filled with a decent amount of protein but now I get like 3 or 4 pieces of chicken.
