I had been waiting for this place to open as someone who has an Armenian grandma and grew up eating a lot of greek mediterranean food and there are not a lot of food places with this type of menu. I really did not know what to expect but this place blew away my expectations. Lets start with the sampler appetizer ... hands down the best falafel I have ever had. The spicy hummus was delicious and my wife's favorite. The grape leaves which I typcially dont like the vegetarian ones (Grandma stuffs em with half ground beef half ground lamb mixture) but these were very good with a lemony zong to em. The cous cous was perfect and that is some hard stuff to make. For the main course I went with filet beef kabob and my wife the chicken. Cooked perfectly with a lot of flavor. The rice was so light and fluffy ... I am not kidding ... I thought it was shredded cheese on the plate when I first looked at it lol. Salad with yogurty cucumber was a nice touch. Overall, the food and flavors were fantastic and well balanced. Portions are large. It was so good I ate the rest cold out of the refrigerator in the middle of night and in the morning. It reminded me of a Chipotle in terms of setup. The decor was nice and good atmosphere. It is on the pricey side for me but it will not stop me from returning. The staff was very friendly and checked up on is multiple times. This is a welcome place and nice alternative for food in Mansfield. read more

MEH.......Wasn't that good. Order was not fresh.....taste like it had been sitting for awhile. Deserts were just MEH also. Thank God it was not that expensive, but I was hoping that this would become a new favorite place, but instead it's a nightmare. I absolutely love Luna! I always order the flat-cut Chicken kabob but I would recommend ordering it in house because the to-go orders at this location are definitely smaller (in my opinion) but the sides are delicious and just the dressings themselves are worth the visit. read more

Well I was number 200 today! Opening day and I was so excited to try out this new place. I must say for opening day the Luna Grill team is off to a fantastic start! Service was outstanding. This is a great place to dine in mediterrenian locally. Had the lamb kabob plate and it was delicious. The mango lemonade was gmo free and had natural cane sugar. I don't live near a Luna Grill so when I come to Mansfield I ALWAYS come to Luna grill. There was recently a change in the menu but I've always ordered the same thing El Greco Bowl. In the past it was your choice of meat and choice between rice or fries, now it's fries and gyro meat. They let me change the fries to Rice but told me that they could not change the Gyro meat to chicken. If I was to order a pita Which has the option of euro meat or chicken they're the same price for either one which means that when they serve chicken it's the same price as their Gyro meat. The manager told me that the only way that I could get chicken was for me to buy a side of chicken which would be an additional eight dollars. So a meal item that only cost $10 just now cost me $19 because the manager said that I couldn't exchange the Gyro meat for chicken. I don't want Gyro meat if I did then that's what I would've ordered and I don't think that it's fair to pay double since I didn't get the Gyro meat that I don't want. I am a business owner myself and you normally try to let people order the food that they would like to eat without ripping them off the customer service was horrible and the manager should've over ridden the meal item and allow me to have chicken without charging me an extra eight dollars read more

Love love this place! Food is always cooked fresh, fast and presentable. The place is always has dirty tables and we are always having to wait for someone to clean the booths so we could sit down. The staff does take care if it right away and is very kind about it too. The staff is friendly and is knowledgeable about the food items. I think this will be our go to Mediterranean food place. My boyfriend and I literally have been eating here about 2-5 times a week since its opening, no joke. The healthiest, cleanest BIG plate of tasty food served in Mansfield. Any kabob plate is two meals for me. The flat cut chicken is amazing, the filet kabob, also the burger (vegan and grass fed) are both SO GOOD. If you like lentil soup you'll be in for a treat. The staff all know us and is very friendly, they give us the community discount of 10%, the previous manager Kris gave us the employee 20% discount and the staff that's been around does too. Tried to find great Mediterranean food around the area and this is by far the best I've had. Reminds me of the food back in California where I'm from. Tried the ground sirloin/chicken combo which has always been cooked perfectly, enough char but never dry. The chicken has always been tender and juicy. Luna Grill on Debbie Lane. I placed an order online and accidentally kept the pickup at ASAP, which included a tip. Once I realized the mistake I called the restaurant to push the time back an hour. The person I spoke with said the order hadn't come thru yet, but she would tell the cook. Got there an hour later as discussed and the food was cold! Lesson learned! Won't come back here. Place was dead. Took 25 minutes to get food. I got a regular Gyro that was like $11 with fries. Fries were OK but the Gyro was not. Literally 3 strips of Gyro meat in it. I go to other Gyro places and for half the money get one with 10+ strips of meat. Definitely not worth the money. Customer service not so good either. We walk in and weren't greeted or anything. For this price point, this place is honestly nothing special I ordered a lamb kebab signature plate and of course I finished it but it really wasn't all that. For 14.99 I think it's a few dollars too many spent. The yogurt cucumber sauce was just really watery compared to what I'm used to, and was all around disappointing. The only reason I'm not giving this a one is the sweet potato fries which at 4.75 weren't good but were probably the highlight of the meal. I really enjoy eating here. Always a clean place with good clean food. I usually have a hard time when I order the salmon because they always overcook it which makes it super dry and hard to chew. We were fortunate to be among the first to try Luna Grill during their soft opening. Our experience was a very satisfying one. Everyone was extremely pleasant, engaging and eager to please. The decor was comfortable and we found a booth to fit in even though the place was packed. It was a slightly chilly evening but the outdoor seating area felt comfortable because of heaters placed overhead. There were plenty of patrons eating outside. We ordered the Spinach Pie as an appetizer and for dinner, I ordered the Seasonal Fish, which was Mahi Mahi and my husband ordered the lamb. The Spinach Pie was delicious. It had a nice flaky crust and a very subtle flavor. It was cut into 4 wedges and came with a yogurt cucumber dipping sauce. My only suggestion would be to offer individual plates to eat your appetizer on as it is billed as a "shareable" appetizer. My entree was amazing! The fish was cooked to perfection and was seasoned perfectly as well. The basmati rice was a delightful accompaniment, along with 3 pieces of pita bread, yogurt cucumber dipping sauce and a house salad. The portions were extremely generous. My husbands lamb entree was quite satisfying as well. The lamb was precut and he remarked that you could tell it was 100% lamb meat. He enjoyed the rice, salad and pita bread as well. The drink selection was adequate. I drank black tea while my husband sampled a Blue Sky Mandarin Lime flavored soda which he loved! The prices were in line for what you get which is quality healthier food, made fresh to order, presented beautifully with an attentive and caring staff. Luna Grill is a welcome addition to Mansfield, which in my opinion, since moving here from out of state, lacks a variety of options other than chains, chicken , Mexican and BBQ. The staff is friendly and the food is fresh and flavorful (a bit on the spicy side). It's also nice that they offer wine/beer. However, it is VERY pricey for this type of food and atmosphere. Our casual lunch for 2 ended up being just as much as most of our dinners out at much higher-end restaurants. While it's a nice, healthier option in a convenient location next to the gym, it's just a bit too expensive to be a regular destination for us. read more
