We went there on a Saturday evening and we got seated right away. The host was very friendly and courteous. We got a table by the bar and they had music playing which created a nice ambiance. Must tried are: shrimp fajita quesadilla, southwest chicken egg rolls, guacamole and the chicken soup. One of my favorites is the chicken tostones. The plantains are fried just right and loaded with chicken, cheese, bell peppers etc. I like mine with jalapeños. So good! It's a whole meal! I loved this place! The margaritas are a good price, and the cheese dip was creamy, not super thin and watery. I ordered the steak fajitas and everything was cooked perfectly. I liked that there was almost an equal amount of veggies and meat. Most places skimp out on the meat. The rice, beans, and salad that accompanied it were good... it made me want to get a separate side of guacamole to go! So good. The waitress told us that it's busiest in Friday nights around 7/7:30. We got there at 6 on a Friday night and were seated right away. It's located in the end unit of a shopping complex so there is plenty of parking. Three stars because the food was pretty decent. However, it's very expensive and they don't have great options on the menu. I wanted tacos but they didn't have tacos listed al a carte or any on the lunch menu by themselves. They did have a dinner option for $16-20 for three tacos. Plenty of other entrees are $16+ here and fajitas are above $20. Their lunch specials are $10 but a very limited selection. Only 5 combinations and the other options are breakfast like items. No lunch fajitas on the menu which is unusual. I know costs have went up and other restaurants should go up on pricing but they are so much more expensive than others I can't justify coming here. Especially when the menu offers nothing unique and is more limited than others. I had zero complaints about the food. It was good but not better than another well done Mexican place to justify the much higher prices. read more

It's located in Smyrna right off of the East West Connectors busy intersection near S. Cobb Dr. I had the Mayan Veggie Fajitas which had grilled bell peppers, onions, mushrooms, zucchini, squash, and tomatoes. Served with rice, black beans, lettuce, pico de gallo, sour cream, and guacamole with tortillas. The rice and beans were flavorful but they were skimpy on the vegetables. Chips & salsa - the chips were warm and salsa had a nice kick. Pico di Gallo and guacamole both tasty but I like my guacamole with a kick. The restaurant shares parking space with a Sprouts Grocery Store and a handful of other retail/eateries, but at least during midday, parking has always been sufficient, but I could easily see it being a bit of a chore to find a spot close to the restaurant itself during prime-time hours. The current health score of "86" isn't very sexy, but the customer service and the food are good enough that I stop by for lunch fairly regularly when I'm in the office. The food and the customer service are actually beyond "good"...It's pretty expletive good honestly and has been consistent over a nice period of time, so I feel safe that my rating won't have a surprise, downward or negative update. read more

My family and I came in for the first time and definitely won't be back. We didn't get out guac and queso until after our food came out. Never even got the tortilla soup.. the margaritas are premade. If you get a frozen margarita with a flavor, they just stir it in with a spoon and the syrup immediately separates from the frozen margarita. We came in on "National Margarita Day" and they didnt even add the special price to our bill. Our service was terrible. We had to ask for chips, chip refills, straws when we had a child's cup with a lid, and drink refills. We are a very easy family because we all have serving backgrounds so we were very patient and understanding. What makes me write this review was when we were leaving, there were drink special signs finally up so we asked the server at the door about them and why we were told. He laughed in our faces.... With mediocre food, terrible Margaritas, rude staff, and terrible service, we will never be back. :) read more

At the petition of my family we came back for a 3rd round of crappy service. Our waitress Juli never spoke to us clearly and was not attentive to our party throughout meal. Had to ask for plates for cheese dip, dirty plates were provided, when requested to switch took another 20 mins to get new ones with no apologies. Brought out wrong food to sister who has food allergy and was met with disbelief that they made a mistake, again no apology. Correct food was finally produced some 25 minutes later, waiter had no home training and reached across someone else's food to deliver the new plate. Fernando came around to ask if all was ok, it wasn't but he walked away so fast. Juli was missing for most of our meal, she was busy sitting at a booth talking with coworkers. Check was delivered and Juli helped herself to 18% gratuity she didn't work for but it wasn't in my tab so I really couldn't dispute it. We didn't come in for free anything, just wanted to enjoy a pleasant meal with my family but these folks made it stressful. Hope they do better for future patrons. read more

This is some good Mexican food. I'm From California where the Mexican food in my opinion is the most authentic besides food from actual Mexico. Anyways, I was a bit bummed when I first moved out here and hadn't found any that I thought was up to par. This place is pretty good. I've got a few different options from this place and have been pleased with every selection. I work down the street, so I recently ordered for pick up for lunch and left very specific directions. Not going again! We enjoyed our first couple of dine in experiences after new management had cleaned out but as usual, the quality has gone downhill. The service is great! But I ordered a two enchilada, one taco and rice combo. Wife ordered a chicken burrito combo, (number 12) This was between the lunch/dinner rush. Wife's burrito and my two enchiladas were inedible due to sodium content! Guaranteed that the burrito and enchiladas had been sitting under heat lamps and salt added to keep them from spoiling since lunch service! I had to try this place again (2nd time) and I'm glad I did. Our server was Carmen and she was awesome. My husband had the Mango Habanero Steak. No, your not going to find that on the menu. Carmen made it happen!!! We were told our first visit , we couldn't get it because it was made for the chicken. But you'd be surprise what server's can do, when you find the right one. Carmen told us we could order the Churrasco Steak and sub the Mango Habanero Sauce. Grilled tender 8 oz steak covered in a spicy sauce, oh yeah!! This visit we were given plastic cutley, well it wasn't cuttin it (get it cuttin it) anyway all we had to do was ask and we recieved regular rolled silver. Much Better. I had a fajita steak quesadilla and it was full of meat, cookes my way. I also had a house grande margarita for $7.99. Be sure to ask about the drink specials. At first, I ordered two chicken and one beef. After I took a bite of the chicken taco I immediately knew I was going to order more - and then I took a bite of the beef taco, I then ordered my next round of tacos ALL BEEF. Both the chicken AND beef were soooooo flavorful that no additional sauces were needed! No green salsa needed, no harbinero. If you're looking for flavor, & great prices - this is the place!
