They exceeded my expectations. I ended up walking normally without pain and walking as much as I wanted and I could have walked even more than I did. Their work did not stop with walking. I casually mentioned to them that I did not have full range of motion in my shoulders because of adhesive capsulitis. Other PT groups, I told them, had said they had done all they could. When I mentioned this to Dr. Huang, with whom I was working at the time, she said she could do more. After sessions with her, she gave me a long pole to lift up and back, something I found impossible for years. This time I lifted my arms straight up and, as I lay on the bed, I held the pole all the way and flat on the bed above my head. I now stand straight, taller, and with more flexibility than ever. I have been fortunate to work with both Dr. Lin and Dr. Huang. They are kind and caring individuals and their office staff is a delight to work with. Dr. Lin's and Dr. Huang's methods are challenging. After my sessions with them that consisted of forty-five minutes of hell, however, I walked out of their office feeling as if I were 17 years old. Before my first session I intended to just give it a try one time to see how it went. I felt unbelievably better and did not stop coming back. Some people are surprised by their therapy session costs. I am surprised and gratified by their therapy session results. To walk as I walk now, to stand as I stand now, and - one other thing: I have been a type 1 diabetic for more than fifty years and my insulin needs after working with Dr. Lin and Dr. Huang have significantly decreased. Their techniques are exactly what they say - smarter and harder. Their results are life-changing.

I finally get the hype! Dr. Erikson is SUPER knowledgeable and I literally felt and saw immediate results which was shocking. We all know shoulder injuries are complex because of all the muscles in the shoulders but he almost knew immediately what the issue was and made me laugh through the most painful parts (which was really minimal if I'm being honest). He also did an overall check and found that my back is also not in mint condition as I can see by one of my legs being shorter than the other. The way that he explained and showed what was going on and what he's trying to do made me feel so comfortable for my first adjustment. And about that massage... well the massage was DEEP - this is not your relaxing spa day but it is healing! Another thing I value about this office, aside from it being SUPER clean, is that they do not push you to spend your money. Yes, you have to pay for your treatment but there is no pressure to come more than you want to even if the Doctor recommends more. This makes me trust them even more so I'm happy to call Dr. Erikson my doctor that is going to see me through recovery! I can't wait to give an update once I'm further along in care. This practice has been super friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The space is clean and spacious and usually not over crowded. I started PT beginning of June and after 3-4 weeks, I started to experience positive effects with my recovery. Josephine and the rest of the staff are super great. I personally went to a doctor for my issue several years ago and was dismissed. I saw Josephine, and she immediately validated my concern and actually identified the issue. The front desk receptionist, Rachel, is also so kind and definitely creates a welcoming first impression. I'm very happy with the services and would totally recommend this place to anyone!

He tries to figure out where the pain is originating and has a whole body approach that I appreciate very much. Emily, the massage therapist, is wonderful. I see her for lymphatic massages. She's wonderful at lymphatic but is also able to work on deep tissue if needed during my session so she helps me with recovery as well. I was having issues with foot pain and Emily helped me discover that the source was tightness through the back of my legs all the way to my glutes. Once she worked on the areas, my foot pain is practically zero. It's important to see medical professionals that do not treat just the area of pain but look further into where the pain originates. I almost got a shot in my foot for this pain from my podiatrist and I'm so glad I didn't. I thank Emily for helping me solve my problem and bring me relief. I can run again because these people care to help and look for why the pain is happening to begin with. The support staff is wonderful too. Everyone is so nice. This practice goes above and beyond and I can't say enough wonderful things about them. I recommend them to all my friends and family.

I came in specifically because I was feeling unwell and suspected a blood sugar issue--especially since lab work from a different clinic the prior week showed a fasting glucose level high enough to indicate diabetes. Despite explaining this, the Physician Assistant (PA) dismissed my concerns, told me I "didn't fit the profile" for diabetes, and ordered a thyroid panel instead. Three days later, the support staff called to tell me they lost my blood sample and needed me to come back in. When I expressed frustration that they lost my sample for a test I didn't even ask for--while still refusing to run the metabolic panel I actually needed--the staff member literally hung up on me. I only returned the next day because it is within walking distance of my house and I was having the same feeling again, wanting to get to the bottom of what was happening. While the PA on duty that day was attentive, she ended up sending me to the ER for my blood pressure. After waiting four hours at the hospital, the ER doctor confirmed it wasn't an emergency at all. To top it all off, I received another call from the urgent care informing me that they did eventually run a metabolic panel, and my A1C and fasting glucose levels are, in fact, indicative of diabetes. Between the PA completely dismissing a patient's concerns, the staff losing blood samples, and being hung up on, the lack of professionalism and competence here is alarming. Go somewhere else.

I discovered HOAG by chance and LOVE IT! Every HOAG offices I went to had been very positive and felt heard. CIGNA HMO Select is limited to being within network but it is so affordable compare to all the other HMO and PPO insurances that I had gone through. I don't plan to leave anytime soon and will continue with HOAG for as long as I am able to. This is the newest urgent care location. Parking is open and plenty. Easy Entrance and easy Exit.

Before I started with Care under Luna for Physical Therapy, I told them that I had very touchy bowels from surgery and replacement of bells and that I had no control at all from day-to-day if they were going to get sick on me. It's not something I enjoy talking about but the doctors that referred me New # I talk to your ahead of appointments. I talked to each individual person. They came to my home and explained to them with a serious bowel surgery I had and by luck was able to have them replaced and repaired I was told it would be no problem now I have let you go. I have no desire to do business with you for how I was treated and today I get a bill for $300 for uncanceled meetings. I have called your place of business as early as 2 o'clock in the morning to say I am sick I cannot make it. I cannot do it today. I have been told those were taken off, but no they were not so if someone has a pre-existing condition that they've had therapy for surgery for or whatever reason don't come to Luna I was treated rudely without caring and most of all it seems like you're $300 is much more important to you than my health. It totally saddens me. I have been with scripts. They were wonderful. I have been with two other agencies and they were wonderful also and understood my bowel problems to put it plainly for diarrhea or bowel movements. I have no control. It comes when it does so discussing this humiliating issue is in your court. I would tell everyone I know to never go to Luna because of their compassionless, as well as uncaring attitude. I would prefer you say on the first visit that all you care about is money that would've been more truthful, no matter where I go, no matter who I speak with I will always tell the truth as how I was treated by your business, word-of-mouth is your best advertisement. read more

I recently had hip surgery and fortunately I also had Luna Physical Therapy to assist with my in-home care. My therapist was Kevin and he was excellent. He checked all the boxes. He was punctual, competent, resourceful and caring. He took the time to listen to any issues I might have had. His explanations were clear and often sprinkled with humor. He gave me confidence and together we made great progress. Luna, the company, are terrific communicators. They contacted me right after surgery to schedule my in-house therapy sessions. They confirmed all appointments and introduced the therapist. They are very easy to work with and provide very quick response time. I recommend Luna and in particular Kevin very highly. read more

I needed at home PT after hip replacement surgery, Denny was my therapist, he always showed up on time and communicated with me if he could even come early. Very professional, years of experience, detail oriented while also being very comfortable to be with. He's excellent at showing exercises and explaining what muscles are targeted to build strength. Luna has a good portal which enables patient to access exercises, showing how to perform them, and provides guidance for a good workout when therapist isn't at the house. Much better than a paper printout. Portal also has a message board, so you can send a message to therapist should you have a question. read more

Ferin is absolutely outstanding. Knows more about the shoulder and all the connecting body parts than anyone I've ever known. Peter from Luna was nothing short of extraordinary. I was having considerable post operative difficulties from hip replacement surgery. I got absolutely no feedback from him on anything I reported about my condition. The assistants didn't know what I had done previously, didn't instruct me clearly and seldom corrected me when I did an exercise wrong. They would constantly leave me and come back after I was done. I got a set of exercises by email after my first visit and it was never updated. On my last visit, the office had moved without notifying me. That made me about 10 minutes late and my therapy was, consequently, cut short. There was never any offer of ice, tens, etc. at end of session.

I went to 2 orthos and another PT without much help, and almost gave up and resorted to getting a shot. Good thing I didn't (!!) and found Dr. Kara Lowe at Southland. Within 3 sessions, she was able to release my shoulder and I saw dramatic reduction in my pain. She is experienced, insightful, and collaborative throughout the process. They did not try to understand the nature of injury and assigned generic exercises for me that worsened my condition. I was in pain after each session and did not improve. I went to see a foot orthopedic surgeon and he referred me to Core Performance. From the first visit, Yorick Yuan spent the first session assessing my condition and analyzing the nature of my injury. In future sessions, each exercise was tailored to improve my healing. After 2 weeks, I notice a significant improvement. After 6 weeks, I feel so much better and close to being completed healed. I'm continuing PT to work on my gait, walking up and down stairs and overall strength in my legs. I feel each exercise helped me and I have made tremendous progress. The PT assistants I mostly work with are Cole and Rose and they are very patient and competent. I have had such a wonderful experience with everyone I've worked with at Core Performance including the front desk. I highly recommend Yorick Yuan and this practice because they truly care about helping each patient improve their quality of life.

I mean customer service and just overall people there who really made you feel good, welcomed and taken care of. I had to bring my son and they offered him snack and drinks and let him sit in his own area to play video games as he could not come back with me to get my shot. JOSH -offered me water and snacks and explained the surgery in detail and reassured me of how easy and virtually painless procedure that it was and how quick it would be. He made me feel good, confident and cared for. He was very attentive kind and had a great sense of humor. He was like this with the ladies next to me as well, other patients. Thank you Josh! BRI- was very much the same as Josh. Very sweet, attentive informative and we made small talk about nursing school and about how she just finished and can't wait to take the Nclex.
