I was told on the phone before I started PT that since I'd met my deductible, there would be no copay. I just received a bill for $435 for the first two visits (I had 11), with amount billed to my insurance for $325 and $300. I'm going to be really unhappy if I continue to get more bills.** The therapist was nice enough, though she frequently would take calls or respond to texts during our visits which I felt was unprofessional and distracting (approximately half a dozen during each visit, from her kids, coworkers or other patients). The therapy was very helpful, but I wish I had been properly informed of the cost, and that the therapist was more focused during our time together. **Edited later the same day: A member from the patient experience team called and resolved the billing issue, as it was originally processed incorrectly, so I am pleased with that outcome. First they book 6 appointments with me. Guy shows up for first appointment and does nothing. Sits on my floor and tells Ms how more people die within 5 years of having hip replacement surgery. Probably not what I want to hear after having hip replacement surgery. Then the next day I get all appointments canceled. I get a phone call they say I don't have insurance. I just had hip replacement surgery two days earlier how do I not have insurance. Someone said they would call me back. They never did. By the way I have Aetna PPO platinum plan. read more

I started to contact this company via their online form then decided against it & did not submit the form. They have been calling & texting every day since. The calls come from different numbers, like telemarketers, so there's no way to block them. Extremely unprofessional and unsettling that a company of this type will harass a potential patient. great idea.... if you cancel within 24 hours you are charged $90 my first appt the therapist cancelled 45 min before our appt because he had to get the oil changed in his car. that was a week ago. Awesome service. Phone staff has been great, my therapist is knowledgeable and friendly. Already making great progress after just a few visits. Far more convenient than going to a PT clinic. I get better, more personal attention. My total visit takes way less time just because the therapist is working 1 on 1 with me only the whole time. Not to mention the driving and waiting time saved. I might have continued suffering and trying to fix my condition myself had Luna not been so convenient and easy arrange. Expect it to take three or four days to get the first appointment, the app says 2 days I think, but that's probably a bit optimistic. Once I got my first one done, my therapist was able to schedule me at a regular time that worked for both of us. read more

My husband just had a total knee replacement done at Hoag orthopedic unit last week. Luna came out the day after his discharged and they sent a physical therapist name Tara O'Brien. She has been absolutely wonderful. We have both been in physical therapy in the past for a number of other orthopedic reasons. And she is top-notch. Very knowledgeable explains everything and uses innovative treatments like KT taping. Which is made huge difference on his swelling and edema . The first appointment was cancelled less than 24 hours before. Also Luna took a great deal of information from me but said they could not tell me who the therapist would be until they completed their intake even though they knew who it was. I didn't want to spend all the time necessary without knowing who they would assign, and even after they gave me a name it was difficult to find out what her background and training were. This really did not work for me and I've cancelled all further appointments. read more

I was scheduled for in home physical therapy with Luna first on 3/31, Easter Sunday, and then that morning they called and rescheduled it for 4/5, Friday, at 4 p.m., finally called at 4:15 when she had not shown and was told she was snowed in, rescheduled for 4/10, Wednesday, when Denise did show up and evaluate but left without making a new appointment. Called Thursday about a new appointment and was scheduled for the following Wednesday, 4/17. When making the appointment told them I had surgery scheduled for Thursday. Got an email on Monday, 4/15, saying it had been rescheduled for Thursday. I called immediately and told them that would not work as having surgery that day. The little gal I talked to said she would call me back or have Denise call me and never heard from either one again. So contacted my doctor and got referred to outpatient PT where they have actually been taking care of me and the pain has gotten much better. Would not recommend Luna home PT to anyone as they did no seem to care about having me as a patient since rescheduled 3 times before ever being seen and then no more appointments scheduled at all. read more

Today was supposed to be my moms initial evaluation with physical therapist. I had to cancel last minute because my mom was admitted to hospital last night at 9pm. I try my best to cancel as soon as I can this morning and was told that we will incur $90 cancellation fee. I can understand if I cancel base on random or predictable reason. But how can Luna penalize patients for unavoidable circumstances. This is very unreasonable. If I had known that, I would not have chosen to go with Luna. For someone with seizure disorder, there's no way when seizure can happen. read more
