Stopped by for a late brunch! It was quiet on a weekday afternoon so we had the entire place to ourselves. There was a food stream of people going to the attached coffee bar. We were able to enjoy our meal with window viewing the ocean. The shrimp and chips were giant! The lobster quesadilla was satisfying. If you order a burger entree they come with fries but not the quesadilla.

First time here and here at happy hour and they have four beers listed for happy hour and none are available?!! Told they are sold out. Considered champagne but it is a brand I never heard off and the bottle was 3/4 empty. Yeah no! Not paying 6 dollars for a flat champagne. So I asked for a glass of water. Water tasted really weird almost like sea water. So am not drinking the water. Ordered a cup of clam chowder for 6 dollars and fried calamari rings for 10 dollars. Clam chowder was salty with a few chewy clams. The calamari was the worst I have ever had. Salty and black processed pepper in the batter. Stringy coating not removed from calamari (quite unpleasant) -- (Squid have a thin, slightly tough outer membrane called the skin or sheath and when it is not fully cleaned, it results in stringiness after cooking). Calamari was served with cocktail sauce. They should serve it with aioli sauce IMHO especially at 10 dollars price point. No lemon wedge provided either. Not impressed with happy hour menu here at all nor the quality of food nor drink selection. Ambiance at bar was nice - like the fresh sea air coming in the open doors. Seats at the bar are comfortable. Service was okay. I had to ask for cutlery and a napkin. And fabric napkin smelled like bleach.

We came due to the good reviews on Yelp! They had seating all throughout the joint, and there was a lady singing and playing an instrument. The service was very good and the prices were average. We had to $25 champagne mimosa special, it served up to 6 people! We had the Fish and Chips, Cajun Shrimp Tacos, the Pork Scramble and the Spinach Bacon Mushroom Omelette. The food Was well prepared and warm to taste. We fed four people for $112.00 Not bad. Jorge server was very good! Oh yeah, they are pet Friendly folks!

October 12, 2025 - Cayucos, CA This is a beautiful restaurant, particularly if you have the opportunity to dine in the garden. On this occasion, the weather was less than ideal, so we were seated indoors. Upon arrival, we were informed that the restaurant's payment system was down and that only cash or Zelle would be accepted. While this was not an issue for us, it would have been appreciated if they had notified us in advance, especially since they had our contact information through the reservation. Service was warm and welcoming, though somewhat lacking in attentiveness--for example, water glasses were not refilled promptly. I ordered the Alaskan Halibut ($54), an 8oz wild Alaskan halibut topped with two Argentinian prawns and scampi sauce, served with mushroom risotto and seasonal vegetables. The dish was beautifully prepared and absolutely delicious. Overall, an enjoyable dining experience, with only minor service and communication issues.

This is such a cute place! Felt like we were in a secret garden in a quaint European town. There was live music playing in the background. Our server, Jorge was attentive and our meal arrived pretty fast. We ordered. the spinach, bacon, tomato omelette, fish and chips, chorizo scramble, and tacos. Everything tasted delicious. We also ordered a bottle of champagne to split mimosas for 4. A very pleasant experience. We shall return!

Went for lunch after visiting the dog beach in north Morro. Sat on their cute back patio with the doggies, and waited for a server. No one really helped us for a bit- seemed confusing but after 5 min our waiter came out with silverware etc and we ordered. I chose the eggs Benedict which came with a glass of champagne which was nice. My wife ordered the California burger and a beer. Apparently their CO2 was not working so she got a bottle instead. The burger and fries were good and the eggs benny had a nice bit of Mexican spice to the Hollandaise sauce, which was a pleasant surprise. I liked it! The service was pleasant, if just a tad slow. Beautiful sunny January day made us in no hurry. We will be back!

Strange building entrance, confused as to where to get someone to check me in and seat me. Finally someone came around. I sat out in the garden, so nice, plants, trees, birds. Ordered their chicken salad sandwich, which came with fries. It was nice, but the ambiance earned the stars.

We went to dinner at Lunada Garden Bistro on our last night visiting the Central Coast. It is located in the heart of downtown Cayucos. We needed to find a place that allows dogs on a patio that has decent food. Our friends that live in the area suggest Lunada and joined us there. The outdoor dining area is truly special. It is a garden feels secluded and romantic. We were greeted by our server right away to get our drink choices. I ordered the Roasted Vegetable Pappardelle but I added prawns to it. It was delicious and it was a very generous portion. We really appreciated being able to bring our large dogs to a nice dining establishment!

The Salmon Benedict was great! Our server David kicked ass, super friendly, attentive and accommodating. The place had both indoor and outdoor sitting. We ate outdoors and it had a flowery garden which was fantastic!

We arrived before 5:00 pm on a Sunday and we were seated immediately. The outside garden is a beautiful place to sit, absolutely gorgeous surroundings. Our server was nice and the service was overall pretty good. The food was delicious. The lobster was a bit overcooked making it slightly rubbery, but still good. The lamb was delicious and cooked exactly medium-rare. We will come back. And hopefully next time our server will remember to bring us some of their delicious warm bread equaling a 5 star review.

Luanda's cool bar. They have a cozy red couch towards the back and a huge wine selection.

Felt like we were in a time warp that took us to the 1970's. Ok, if you are in the area highly recommend going. We were in Pismo for the weekend and the 30 minute drive was easy at 8:30am when we left. It opens at 9am so I thought it would be good to be there then. And so did about 80 people. The line was to the end of the block. Don't be deterred. We were striking up conversations with everyone around us. You order at the window, they give you a number for the table, and they bring out your food. Look for the sauces they keep above the sugar cream station. Onto the food! We got the San Luis Sunrise (free range eggs, Niman Ranch bacon ends, avocado, hk sauce) and the Mannix Machaca (scrambled eggs, slow cooked carnitas, hk green salsa, avocado, hk sauce). I thought by the look of it that the waffles would be the winner....nope! The blue corn flour tortilla Mannix Machaca won the day! Oh, and the ridiculous smoothly the Baywood Berry. They were really loud and basic. We found a table downstairs in the bar as far away from the band as possible. We couldn't even hear each other to talk- other groups were saying the same thing We ordered the calamari appetizer and then the fish and chips for my husband and the seared ahi with wasabi mashed potatoes for me. Everything came out all at once- and no one ever came to check on us. The fish and chips were good, my ahi was nice- but the potatoes were cold and it was covered in seaweed salad I had to pick off. Later I was trying to remember why I ordered the ahi over the halibut or the mahi mahi- looking at the menu it says the ahi has blue crab wasabi mashed potatoes- so that's why I ordered it. I had shared my meal with my hubby and so I asked him if he noticed/tasted any crab on the potatoes. Neither of us did- thinking they left it out. The calamari should have been the appetizer- but everything came all at once- I would rather have skipped them at that point. Hubby had to go up to the bar to get refills- he was gone a long time. When he came back he told me that they had him leave a credit card with them when he placed the order. We weren't drinking alcohol, so this didn't seem necessary. Had I known this, I would have suggested not even staying and finding a different restaurant. Well the bartender said he lost our credit card/ but would try to find it.... um, what!!!! They did finally find it about 20 minutes later. No apologies or anything other than dumping the check at the end of the table.
