Waiting for my vehicle to be serviced and needed to get some food. I found this place and decided to give it a try. Their menu was very nice and had a great selection of breakfast combinations, salads, hot and cold sandwiches. They also had teriyaki and noodle plates and sushi rolls. All food prices were very reasonable, nothing over 13.00 dollars. They also had smoothies and iced coffee drinks. The restaurant was clean and quiet, the staff was very friendly . I had French toast with eggs and bacon with coffee and it was delicious. They have takeout and dining options.

Mom n pop place, pros- good variety of food on their menu, reasonable prices, tasty food, right near freeway exit (91 East). Con-hours are limited after 5 pm n closed weekends. We tried their lunchbox Teri chicken, came with tempura shrimp/ veggies, rice, cali roll, and more veggies, everything was yummy! Would like to come back and try their breakfast and sandwiches next time or so may just stick with the lunchbox again since it was so good lol.

I open up my udon and they can't even fill it up. Wth

Wasn't too pleased with eating here at Lunch Box, and they dont deserve a detailed review. The place was dusty. They constantly stared at me like I was going to walk out with a table or something. My udon bowl was only filled up 2/3 towards the top. No one at my office goes here, and I wont anymore as well. 54/2016

Elisa was friendly and delivered good service. The service was kind of slow, but the dishes were very delicious. The fish was fresh and I saw the chef filleting a whole fish, which I don't think I've seen in Southern California before. Maybe because I don't typically sit at or near the bar. The Yellowtail Jalapeño was perfectly spicy and had the umami I appreciate. The micro greens and tomato were nice additions to the plate. The Coconut Shrimp Roll had coconut shrimp, coconut mayo, and shaved coconut. This was a surprisingly delightful combination. The Lemon Salmon Roll was very good, but could've benefited from a sauce. The Caliente and Golden Tiger Rolls were also tasty. I would return for more rolls, cold signature plates, and their Uni Pasta. They offer BOGO deals on certain rolls and have an attractive selection of liquors & cocktails. This is a classy location for celebrating.

For the sushi we got the caterpillar roll and the giant salmon roll. The salmon was ok - it was drowning in sauce. My friend enjoyed the caterpillar one. We also got the curry udon which was also just ok. Everything about the food was just ok. The service was pretty mid too. She checked in once and that was it and it took us a while to flag her down for the check.

The serving sizes were satisfying, and both dishes were delicious. The meat was tender, flavorful, and cooked well, while the side dishes complemented the meal nicely. The curry sauce was especially tasty and worth trying. We skipped the soda since refills are not included. The menu selection is not extensive, but I actually liked that--it makes choosing easier compared to flipping through a large menu book. One thing that stood out was the technology they use for ordering and payment. Everything is done digitally, which makes the process quick and convenient without handwritten orders or checks. The service was satisfactory, with attentive and friendly staff throughout our visit. The restaurant itself is on the smaller side, and parking is somewhat limited. On a positive note, the restroom was clean and well-maintained. Overall, a pleasant dining experience with good food, modern ordering technology, and friendly service.

I came with a large-ish sized group so I was able to try a little bit of everything, and honestly it was all pretty good. If I were to come back I would definitely order the Beef Udon again as well as some of the meat skewers including the meatball and the steak with ponzu. // Restaurant: Our servers were attentive and quick with refills. They did miss one of the menu items that we ordered, but they quickly got the order in and the food came out nice and hot. Inside they have traditional Japanese seating (shorter tables, you sit on the ground) as well as tables that can accommodate large and small groups alike. // Notes: Prices are about what you would pay at other izakaya's. From the outside it definitely does not look like much, and the area is kind of sketch but it is def worth a visit!

So we found this place and it was in the same vicinity and yay, they took reservations. Made reservations same day for a 18:30 seating. Service is impeccable. We were welcomed with hot towels, and this impressed me: when our server asked if we wanted cold or hot water. Love it! We opted for hot, better for digestion :) Our libation: Kubota sake - semi dry, rich, clean Our dishes: Assorted sashimi (16 pcs) - omakase. No soy sauce needed. Chef prepared with delicious flavors in mind. Tiger scallops - served in a what appears to resemble petrified wood, carved into a long boatlike dish. Hokkaido shrimp, cilantro oil, chilaquita (Peruvian onion relish), sweet potato crisp, smoke aji Amarillo (Peruvian yellow chili) Leche de tigre (rich emulsion of limes, Peruvian spices and chilis) - A complexity of flavors that comes together so completely. Eat with spoon. The delicate potato crisp finishes the bite with a little crunch. Udon picante - bell peppers, quinoa and 2 jumbo shrimp. Love the heat level. Comfort food at its best. Salmon parmesan - Nikkei sushi - seared salmon, parmesan bitter, eel sauce , arare, lime. Amazing. O toro sushi - the fattiest cut of tuna. Eat as is. Again chef prepared. No added seasoning required. Parri maki - fried shrimp, cream cheese, seared tuna topped with chimichurri, aji amarillo, chalaquita, ponzu. Food experience was enhanced by their impeccable taste in music. Super chill, soft beats stream the restaurant. With its perfect lighting too sets all the good moods for us. Don't wait for this fine dining experience of Japanese and Peruvian fusion. Note: when they ask if you want soy sauce, say No, thank you. It would be a shame to kill the taste of a beautiful dish with any added sauce. Kampai! Salud!
