I found this place through a search on Yelp of nearby places near my work office in Spring Branch. I saw that it was only about seven minutes away and debated DoorDash, but decided to pick it up, and my coworker joined me. It is located near the Shell gas station on Wirt Rd. in a shopping center with Salata and Thrive. Parking isn't bad. There are a few patio tables right outside the door along the sidewalk. When I walked in, there were a few groups of people on their lunch break, but it was easy to order without a line. A lot more people came in afterwards, though I saw that they had a big brown butter cookie with Belgium, chocolate, and it looked like the last one so I purchased it for $5. I had already looked at the menu so I knew I wanted a double smash burger and hand cut fries. We took it for takeout, and it didn't take that long to wait for it. I liked the potato bun of the burger and I thought the sauce was great. I liked that they put the burger in a container box and it wasn't just wrapped. I really enjoyed the hand cut fries, which the small bag was loaded. I like that the base of the bag was flat so it could actually stand up. The fries were seasoned well with what seemed to like garlic salt and pepper. I feel like there were some bits of Parmesan cheese in there which they do offer garlic Parmesan fries I was debating ordering that as well. My coworker ordered the bacon cheeseburger and sweet potato fries and enjoyed it. We shared our fries with our other coworkers since it was a large portion. The cookie was soft and filled with lots of chocolate, which was really great. I wish the edges were a little bit more crisp. I bet it's really good and chocolatey gooey when it's fresh out of the oven. Their online menu showed vegan options, though I didn't see the same options other than a mushroom burger. Maybe they don't offer it anymore. If I'm craving a burger and fries, I would consider coming here again since it's so close to work. It's either that or McDonald's, and I do love a QPC.

They had burgers, wings, salads, wraps, desserts and way more. There were about 20 of us in total and the customer service was amazing. A good chunk of us were indecisive on what wanted, but the cashier in the front was very kind and patient with all of us, even giving her own recommendations when we were torn between two or three options lol. Now... about the food, everything was GREAT! All of us rated our food and there was nothing less than a 7.5. I personally ordered their signature "Crazy Burger" - 10/10, easily. Here, they use swai fish and you can specify which type of breading you'd like - Cajun style (cornmeal) or London style (flour) - I went for the flour batter. Included on the side are fries, onion rings, toast, and a single hush puppy. The foam container was stuffed to the brim it couldn't even be shut. Not a bad thing since I know fried food like this needs to breathe in order to not get soggy. By the time I got to my office about 10 minutes later, my food was still piping hot. Among my whole platter of fried food, everything was still crispy as if I was eating it in the restaurant! It was so delicious - the fish fillets were battered well and had a good balance of fish and breading. The fries were seasoned nicely and the hush puppy, while only one, was a nice touch. I would definitely order this again, though would reconsider 3 pieces as I was stuffed and was ready for a nap by the time I finished. JLB has so many offerings I will definitely come back to try more, at any of their locations.
