I got shorted on the beef fajitas. I immediately asked for the manager, who came and tried to explained how I didn't get shorted. Then the cook came and told me he got it right. I left an on-line review through their web site and another manager (Kevin) called me and said he or Rocky check the orders before they go to the tables for accuracy. Kevin was understanding that I felt shorted. We ordered the Grandioso, which is a half pound of beef, half pound of chicken fajitas, and shrimp. It comes with a side of rice and a side of beans. I also ordered an extra half pound of beef fajitas, which also comes with a side of rice and a side of bean. When the plate of Fajitas came the chicken and beef were the same portion. That is why I immediately asked for the manager. The beef should have been more since we got an extra half pound. I didn't think about it at the time, but we were also missing a side of rice and side of beans with the extra half pound of beef. That is how I know I got shorted. They didn't get it right. I sent another on-line message to Kevin and suggested he watch the camera that was pointed toward us so he could see our order was not accurate. It's been crickets. I will never go back!!! read more

Went here to celebrate my husband's Father's Day mid- afternoon and we waited over 30 minutes for a table of four. Once we got to our table, we saw a lot of empty tables for two and empty unbussed tables for 4. We had a most rude male server who was so unfriendly from the start. He couldn't even say "Happy Father's Day" or a "Hello" for that matter . This restaurant also apparently doesn't have people who are constantly making sure you have chips and salsa and constantly refilling glasses with tea and water. Instead, our server would bring fresh glasses of tea and water to us and never take the empty glasses - so our table was filled with empty glasses that I had to insist that he removed! Upon paying for our meal, the server took our credit card and was gone for a lengthy amount of time to run our credit card which was unsettling to say the least. It was annoying to see children under the age of 21 sitting at the bar taking up space and business away from the bartenders. I don't understand why these children are allowed to sit at a bar and take up space in a business. That should not be allowed! They should enforce NO Minors at the bar! There were so many things this restaurant needs to update themselves with, beginning with the management and then moving down to the servers professionalism and customer service. Also removing minors from sitting at the bar, and investing in those mobile bill pay machines that the servers walk around with and take to each table to close out their tabs. Ordered breakfast and received F- service. Waitress didn't know much about the menu or chose to not be helpful. Waitress brought out food without any condiments for omelets; we had to ask another waitress for salt, pepper, ketchup, straws while our food got cold. I ordered a mimosa and a can of pineapple juice and a mini bottle of sparking wine was left on the table...no service. I asked to talk to the manager and he said all condiments have to be asked for as are straws...interesting I said as I scanned the room and saw every glass with a straw. No attempt from manager or waitress to correct bad service. I will never go back to a restaurant where I feel that I was treated this way. Terrible! read more

Top-shelf tequila, fresh squeezed lime juice and only 170 calories! We started with the "table-side guacamole" and we're a bit disappointed that it was just brought out from the kitchen. The meat wasn't grilled, it was more braised and there wasn't the yummy marinated flavor. This is probably the best tex mex i've ever had! The fajitas are the only way to go. Although a bit pricy, the meat is super tender and flavorful. We also had over half of it to take home, so it's definitely lots of food!! The corn tortillas were the best i've ever had and the fajitas platter included chicken, steak, ribs, and sausage which was a fun twist of classic fajitas. Went to the soft opening for lunch. Great menu! Staff was very friendly, service was good. We need a new place in this area! Front has a large space that can be shut off for meetings. Big bar in the middle with large screens. Done well so that you can see them when you sit at the bar but not overly visible from the tables. I had the Chicken Lupe with Corn Tortillas. Nice chicken breasts marinated and covered with cheese. Seasoned Rice and Refried Beans. Nice plate, food was very tasty. The corn tortillas were thick and freshly made. Excellent. I came here with a friend the other night and had a really great time. We each had a Mexican martini (okay, two....) and they were delicious, though not served in a shaker. I had a combo plate with a beef tamale, cheese enchilada and beef taco with black beans. Paul had chicken smothered with shrimp and Monterrey jack cheese. The food was pretty good. It didn't blow me away, but I definitely was not dissatisfied. The black beans were some of the best I've had in a while. The bartenders were super friendly and I didn't feel neglected at any point. They serve charro beans along with their salsa? I didn't know what to do with that. It's kind of like how Gloria's serves that black bean dip, except it wasn't a dip. It was just..... charro beans. Not sure why there are so many low reviews for this place. When you come here, you get the Fajitas, there is just no other option. I will say, they are a tad expensive but that would be my only downside. My gf and I ordered the server for 1 to share and it was plenty of food for both of us. Especially if you start off with the chips, salsa, and beans. While the steak is amazing here, there tortillas deserve a lot of credit. You can always tell when a place makes homemade tortillas. They just taste a thousand times better then anywhere else that doesn't. We came in on a late Saturday afternoon and the place was pretty crowded but no wait for a table. His happy hour counterpart behind the bar, Sarah, is also an outstanding barkeep! She's prompt, she's kind, she's considerate, and if she has time she'll listen to your story! This should have been the first warning. We ordered a simple order breakfast tacos, breakfast burrito, and a quesadilla. Waited 45 minutes, and the order came out all wrong. I could list everything wrong with the order, but it would make this review too long. If we were not so hungry, it would have been comical. We only took a few bites, and then left. The waiter tried to cover for the kitchen, but it is very clear they are not able to keep up with any business. I could not imagine what it would be like if they had a rush.
