I have given them a sparkling review before, but this time I hope the owners read my comments. The food came hot out of the oven and the driver was very nice - it arrived quickly - but my large pizza was massively burnt on the bottom. Totally blackened crust that ruined the rest of the pie. Now, I used to work in a pizzeria , one with a convection oven that timed the food, so I never burned anything. I'm guessing this is a place that uses a pizza deck oven, or whatever, one where you have to monitor it before it gets overcooked. Have tried most of the pizza places around the area, thought we'd give Lupi's a try. Got a large mushroom pizza. It was just...ok. Crust wasn't especially crispy, cheese wasn't especially plentiful, sauce was garlic powder heavy as many places are. With so much competition in the area, many of whom have thinner crisper crusts at the same cost, we likely won't return. Dining room was unremarkable but we got takeout. We Just ordered pizza and wings and they are totally awesome! Haven't had lupis in quite sometime, but trust me. Still the best. Just like the first time we had them 30 years ago. Garlic Bread Alert!! Garlic Bread Alert!! Delco's cheesesteak supremacy is moving to Lupi's Pizza in Boothwyn. I read online that Lupi's had amazing garlic bread. So I asked (@kjw1972 @jcohl @diningonadime gave me the courage to ask) if I could get a cheesesteak on Garlic Bread. No Problem. Al, the owner, said 'I never thought of that, Thanks.' To everyone that enjoys a garlic bread cheesesteak at Lupi's, 'You are welcome and it truly was my pleasure to help.' Very good cheesesteak. It needs more meat but what was there was very good. Great amount of cheese melted with the meat very nicely. You can see in pictures, lots of mushrooms. $9, 11 inch roll. Seating, bathroom, regulars lingering and plenty of parking. I paid for two garlic knot servings and they charged me for both bu only received one. Their customer service absolutely trash as I called multiple times and no one answered. This place always messes up orders and never does anything to fix it. Their food is good but the service and the way they take orders is mediocre and that's being nice. Their pizza toppings kept falling off the pizza including the cheese which looked like a messed up mountain of it. The grease is enough to literally block your drainage. And not to mention they constantly mess up delivery instructions. I would like my money back for one of the garlic knot orders but god knows no one in that place answers the goddamn phone!! Answer your phones! Listen if your google page says you close at 11pm and you won't answer your phone at 10:30pm there's something wrong. This places customer service is absolutely horrible as well as their drivers are rude and smell bad to be honest. And don't get me started with their store. It looks dirty and raunchy. Used to be our "go to" for local pizza. Recently, the quality of the pizza has declined. First bad pizza we attributed to growing pains of new owners... tried it again and the pizza is still not good (too salty and onion skins on pizza). Also, expensive for sub-par pizza. I hate to be hard on small businesses during Covid, but my experience was horrible. Placed my order for 3 -6" chicken cheese steaks at 6:00 pm on Sat. The person who took my order said it would be an hour, which I agreed to. Order should have been ready at 7:00 pm. My brother arrived to pick up the order at 7:10 and it wasn't ready . Ok. So he waited and waited. Finally we called him at 8:00, to ask what the delay was. He said that he had just checked and they hadn't even started the order !! The cook was a little curt because he said he was the only one working the grill. Now I get that he was probably stressed. But don't blame the customers. Tell the front line people to either stop taking orders for awhile or to give a more realistic time. Not a good experience. The food is usually good, but the customer service was sorely lacking. I know staffing is an issue, but things like this lead to a bad experience. I'm moving on ... read more

Was appalled at the lack of sanitary standards. No one wearing gloves and all of them touching the cash register, their faces, using the restroom, eating food and then tossing pizza crusts and preparing customers' food with no hand washing or gloves. Was almost reluctant to eat the cheesesteak I ordered; however, the amount of grease made the roll not edible. Meat was a good quantity and seemed to be good quality but I would never return. read more

Ordered 2 pizzas by phone an hour in advance. Showed up at the prescribed time and the ditzy girl at the counter said they thought I had said 330 instead of 230. So I waited for them to start cooking them. I verified with her that one was to be a tomato pie with no cheese. Naturally when we get home, it had cheese. Uggggh. Never again! read more

I grew up in the area but now live on the West Coast. I've been stopping by Lupi's not only to satisfy my need for a cheesesteak and tuna hoagie, but also to bring steaks for my family. The service is prompt, the staff friendly, and the food is awesome. The rolls are top quality, this time when I mentioned I was taking it on an airplane they wrapped the cheesesteak fillings in foil inside the roll so it didn't get soggy. The "manager" (they assured us they were, even though it was hard to believe) hung up on us because they thought being concerned that we were getting the wrong toppings (onions, pickles, etc) on cheese steaks and food that people had paid for WHILE we were trying to place another order. The sheer stupidity on hanging up on a customer while they're trying to give you more business even though you're already not great at what you do? Astounding. It's worth the delivery charge to go to Nino's (There's not much else close by). Better salads anyway. read more

The pizza is fantastic, seriously. But I ordered their wings as well, which are advertised as the "Best in Town." They are the worst wings I've ever seen and tasted. They look like they were cooked in water and had absolutely no flavor, even though I order "hot" wings. The wings were also just broken bones. I used to love Lupi's.....it has gone downhill since the owner passed away. I believe his niece and nephew are running the business and they are TERRIBLE!!!! Fought right in front of me and my daughter for 5 minutes straight. The last 3 times i called for delivery I was told 45 minutes and an hour and a half later they showed up with cold pizza all 3 times. I said something to the driver and his excuse was "well we have to come all the way out here" I live 9 minutes from them. I am done!! Awful service. read more

Pizza is the best in the area. Service is not. I waited, while my pizza got cold, for the girl at the counter to discuss 4 deliveries with the delivery driver. You would think that a paying customer should be handled first and then worry about giving the delivery driver directions. Improve the service and Lupi's would be 5 Stars!!! Great pizza!!! read more

Went to a friend's home and they ordered from this place. I only had a slice of cheese a a slice of pepperoni pizza. It is tasteless, the sauce has no flavor and there is so much grease on top, I soaked it up with 4 napkins. The crust is limp and doughy. Not good at all! read more

There food is great, especially their pizza. The customer service from the one young girl they have answering the phones and waiting on customers is horrible. The worst oart is the young girl is the owners dsughter. It is driving us loyal customers away. her attitude is not becoming for a business where they deal with people. I was a very loyal customer. I used to go to Lupi's a great deal, even when the owner's kids were there. The food is great! The new waitress is rude and gross. We were eating in and she was eating behind the counter and literally licked her fingers, picked up our food and brought it over and threw it on the table. She has rotten teeth, pin size pupils, a nasty attitude and her clothes look like she's homeless. Come to your own conclusions. They had two nice waitresses a red head and a blond.
