I was out running an errand and decide to grab a couple slices to go. Apparently, I slipped in under the radar, because it was almost 8pm and for some unknown reason they close at 8pm on Friday night. I heard them turning people away on the phone because they had already turned the grill off and didn't want to clean it again. If you close at 11, I totally get that, but these folks were ready to walk out the door just moments after I left. The pizza was okay, but it might have been sitting out a while. They definitely heated it up, but since they were closing, I doubt they were very fresh. Might be better if you order a fresh pie or get it during the rush.

I was in the area recently, and as tradition goes, I never pass up the chance to grab a cheesesteak. This time, my brother insisted I try a new spot (new for me) and brought me to Pop's Pizzeria. We ordered our cheesesteaks to go, keeping things classic with grilled onions and Cooper Sharp. While we waited, we each grabbed a slice of pizza. It was a great warm-up, and before long our cheesesteaks arrived, neatly wrapped and ready to take with us. Once we got back and dug in, the first thing I noticed was the generous amount of cheese. It made the sandwich wonderfully creamy and flavorful, a refreshing change, especially since some nearby places have been a little stingy with the cheese lately. This felt like a proper, full-flavored cheesesteak. Overall, it was a satisfying meal from start to finish, and I am sure I will stop by again the next time I am in the area. Solid five stars.

An amazing find. Open about 5 mos this has slipped under radar. This area has long needed a great pizza place and now I can sleep peacefully knowing Pops is just down the street. Got 1/2 pepperoni and half plain. Everyone was happy and would return for sure. Added a Caesar salad which was good as well. Back to the pizza, which is set apart by the quality of the ingredients. The crust was amazing with a good chew. Sauce was light and fresh and an integral part. Cheese was great and the pepperoni was outstanding. Cup pepperoni with a nice little kick to it. Can't wait to try other combos

Different Cheesesteak #1132. I loved this cheesesteak before my first bite. I had heard a lot of great things about Pop's Pizzeria. I read some of their Google maps reviews. I was curious but concerned. They are in the cheesesteak wasteland of Glen Mills so the glowing reviews could have been from good cheesesteak deprived locals. I got my cheesesteak with fried onions and mushrooms. It sat in my trunk for over an hour. I took it to Bellefonte Brewing on March Rd in Wilmington, DE. I got my Joe Jam Cranberry Orange Sour. I unwrapped my cheesesteak and it looked magnificent. I ate a piece of meat and cheese that had stuck to the wrapper. It was doubly magnificent. This cheesesteak only got better from there. Very good ingredients. Very good balance. Very good taste.

Was in the area so reached out to a friend for a spot to recommend and he said without a doubt I should go to Pop's Pizzeria. Told him I had pizza last night so didn't want more pizza but he says sandwiches were great too so I gave it a shot. I'm glad I did! Small little family run operation. I went with "The Uncle", cutlet, sharp provolone, long hots and drizzle of balsamic. It came out quick and looked delicious on a nice seeded roll. Cutlet was really good with a nice crisp and the extra ingredients were done in the perfect amount. Just the right amount of peppers, cheese, and balsamic to compliment but not take over the sandwich and the roll was delicious. They also give you plenty on the sandwich so worth the price and you will leave full. Pizza did look good too, maybe next time I'll grab a slice of that too. But definitely a really solid spot

The pizza is delicious! We ordered the pepperoni and it was so good. The sauce is way better than most pizza sauces I've tried in the area. I also love the cup pepperoni they used. The crust was pretty much perfect for my taste. My entire family loved it and I can't wait to try some of the other pizzas on the menu. The antipasto salad was awesome as well!! I ordered through slice and my order was delivered right on time. Will definitely order again and highly recommend to friends and family.

Most consistent and delicious food in and around Delco and ChesCo. We only get catering from them . Don't sleep on the pasta dishes!

The crust is thin yet crisp and chewy and NOT soggy anywhere! The toppings are spread liberally and the pizzas are seasoned perfectly. The family that runs the place is so very kind and friendly. Whether you are passing through like I was or a long-time local, you need to try this place! My personal fave was the farmer's veggie pizza, which was packed with fresh veggies and juicy mushrooms, which I cannot resist, but the pepperoni was a close second, with huge pepperoni slices mixed with little cute ones, all crisp and salty and perfect. My husband, however, raved about the Yia Yia's Brooklyn. I get the impression that you won't go wrong with any of their pizzas. The fries were great, too! Even hours after, they're still crisp and pillowy, not stiff or soggy like your usual fries. Even the rocky road brownies were good. If you're reading this review, stop reading and start ordering!! I will note, there are only a couple of boothed tables and a few window seats, so you might want to order takeout.

My daughter and I loved the Gondola Ride with citrus vodka and limoncello. It was a refreshing, summertime drink. For the 3-course price fixed, we tried the lasagna noodle soup which was unique and delicious. My corn cappellacci (not on the price-fixed menu) was a new entree. The pasta was light and airy, and the corn and shrimp made it a tasty dish perfect for a summer night. For dessert, the gelato twist with banana was heavenly. And the food was delicious! They filled up fast after 4.30, so I do recommend reservations. Last night my reservation were for 6.30 pm. They were PACKED, so we didn't get seated til 7. Even tho there was a table available on the lower level. No biggie, up top is better. 7.10 I asked for water, and to have my wine opened, which we eventually opened because we actually had a cork screw :) and we eventually got water, they were definitely run off their feet not equipped for the seatings they had. Ho hum. The acoustics when crowded make conversations difficult, and to hear the specials, ( which were the same as a week ago) I had to ask our lovely waitress to come closer. All of these things are not complaints, just info on my experiences. The entrees are incredible, great portions and HOT! The starters, were not so hot temp wise, two of the items ordered, Arancini and the famous crab bites. However, if you look at customer pics, menu pics, there are FIVE balls, we were served THREE! That was disappointing, let me add, even tho it's a BYOB, the menu price points are $$$! Which brings me to desert, yip we did the full monty ... my creme bruelee, ( A favorite) was teeny tiny, served in the tiniest of dish, not like the photos at all and way DRY and Stodgey and the pistachio Ricotta cake was a sliver not much thicker than my thumb. And EXPENSIVE $25 for both! My one guest asked for a scoop of ice-cream of Gelato, our server in this Italian restaurant said, sorry, we don't serve anything frozen. Hmmm look at the pics of the menu! Sadly I didn't ake pictures of the deserts, but take my word! I did take entree pics, but I only have the one to share without people in them. So I'll post that one. After all that, Do I recommend OA, Yes! So, if you go, please go with my review in mind, truth be told, order mindfully, and skip desert! The staff kicks you know what!
