Most consistent and delicious food in and around Delco and ChesCo. We only get catering from them . Don't sleep on the pasta dishes!

I was out running an errand and decide to grab a couple slices to go. Apparently, I slipped in under the radar, because it was almost 8pm and for some unknown reason they close at 8pm on Friday night. I heard them turning people away on the phone because they had already turned the grill off and didn't want to clean it again. If you close at 11, I totally get that, but these folks were ready to walk out the door just moments after I left. The pizza was okay, but it might have been sitting out a while. They definitely heated it up, but since they were closing, I doubt they were very fresh. Might be better if you order a fresh pie or get it during the rush. read more

I was in the area recently, and as tradition goes, I never pass up the chance to grab a cheesesteak. This time, my brother insisted I try a new spot (new for me) and brought me to Pop's Pizzeria. We ordered our cheesesteaks to go, keeping things classic with grilled onions and Cooper Sharp. While we waited, we each grabbed a slice of pizza. It was a great warm-up, and before long our cheesesteaks arrived, neatly wrapped and ready to take with us. Once we got back and dug in, the first thing I noticed was the generous amount of cheese. It made the sandwich wonderfully creamy and flavorful, a refreshing change, especially since some nearby places have been a little stingy with the cheese lately. This felt like a proper, full-flavored cheesesteak. Overall, it was a satisfying meal from start to finish, and I am sure I will stop by again the next time I am in the area. Michael was manning the counter and went above and beyond when I asked for plastic silverware--he hooked me up right away with a friendly smile. An amazing find. Open about 5 mos this has slipped under radar. This area has long needed a great pizza place and now I can sleep peacefully knowing Pops is just down the street. Got 1/2 pepperoni and half plain. Everyone was happy and would return for sure. Added a Caesar salad which was good as well. Back to the pizza, which is set apart by the quality of the ingredients. The crust was amazing with a good chew. Sauce was light and fresh and an integral part. Cheese was great and the pepperoni was outstanding. Cup pepperoni with a nice little kick to it. Different Cheesesteak #1132. I loved this cheesesteak before my first bite. I had heard a lot of great things about Pop's Pizzeria. I read some of their Google maps reviews. I was curious but concerned. They are in the cheesesteak wasteland of Glen Mills so the glowing reviews could have been from good cheesesteak deprived locals. I got my cheesesteak with fried onions and mushrooms. It sat in my trunk for over an hour. I took it to Bellefonte Brewing on March Rd in Wilmington, DE. I got my Joe Jam Cranberry Orange Sour. I unwrapped my cheesesteak and it looked magnificent. I ate a piece of meat and cheese that had stuck to the wrapper. It was doubly magnificent. This cheesesteak only got better from there. Was in the area so reached out to a friend for a spot to recommend and he said without a doubt I should go to Pop's Pizzeria. Told him I had pizza last night so didn't want more pizza but he says sandwiches were great too so I gave it a shot. I'm glad I did! Small little family run operation. I went with "The Uncle", cutlet, sharp provolone, long hots and drizzle of balsamic. It came out quick and looked delicious on a nice seeded roll. Cutlet was really good with a nice crisp and the extra ingredients were done in the perfect amount. Just the right amount of peppers, cheese, and balsamic to compliment but not take over the sandwich and the roll was delicious. They also give you plenty on the sandwich so worth the price and you will leave full. Pizza did look good too, maybe next time I'll grab a slice of that too. But definitely a really solid spot read more

We thought we found our favorite pizza place after grabbing a takeout pie a few times. Excellent thick fluffy doughy sfincione (sicilllian) pizza. Now have had 2 with flat thin crunchy crust. That and the sauce is nearly tasteless. It used to have a cheese blend now it's just blobs of mozzarella. We went Back to see if it was just some dough that did not rise maybe bad yeast or not enough warm water used a few times but it seems their "4 days rise" rises no more, just like me now that I'm old.. (that's up to you to decide the meaning if your thoughts are naughty or nice. Next time I'll check the pizza before taking it and if it's flat it's a no go for me and I'll walk so the business can take the loss. read more

The pizza is delicious! We ordered the pepperoni and it was so good. The sauce is way better than most pizza sauces I've tried in the area. I also love the cup pepperoni they used. The crust was pretty much perfect for my taste. My entire family loved it and I can't wait to try some of the other pizzas on the menu. The antipasto salad was awesome as well!! I ordered through slice and my order was delivered right on time. Will definitely order again and highly recommend to friends and family. read more

My son loves this pizza! It is not my favorite but he and my daughter in law love it and get it often.

I've been on this earth for 67 years and lived in the surrounding Philadelphia area for most of those years. I have had my fair share of cheese steaks and can say this may just be the Best steak sandwich I've ever had. Actually, it was a pizza steak...the meat was Quality, so tender and juicy, no fat or gristle! Even the caramelized onions were cooked to perfection! My hair dresser Lindsey at, Joseph Anthony Salon told me she ate here and said it was the best cheese steak she ever had and she was right on point! Found this place by mistake on slice last night and honestly it's the best mistake I've made in a while. I ordered an upside down pizza and a chicken cutlet sandwich. The first thing I noticed was the flavor of the sauce. You can tell it's homemade because there are literal pieces of real tomato in it. It's not too sweet and not too tart! The basil on top is fragrant and fresh and for how much sauce was on the pizza, the crust was SO crispy and crunchy. Not the least bit soggy anywhere! I do wish there was a tiny bit more cheese under the sauce but that's always an adjustment that can be made. Not a big deal to me because the sauce and crust were so good. Next the sandwich. I think I let out an audible gasp when I opened the box and saw the size of it. It is massive! Looks like homemade focaccia bread judging by the freshness and size. I got the Parma which had chicken cutlet, prosciutto, sharp prov, roasted reds, arugula and fig glaze! Another perfect balance of flavors. Savory and sweet and it is a REAL chicken cutlet, not the chicken finger BS you get at other pizza places. I think the breadiness (don't think that's a word but oh well) of the focaccia matches up to the ratio of what's inside it very well. The prices were a little high but honestly you are getting quality, homemade ingredients and food so to me it was absolutely worth it. Not to mention the size of what you get it also well worth it. My go to pizza in the area. So delicious! That long hot pepper basil pesto is AMAZING.

I was craving a salad and the reviews here were promising and it did not disappoint. I got the Greek salad and it was good and fresh. I got it with grilled chicken which didn't take too long to make since they make it fresh and seasoning on chicken is good. I got a pepperoni slice which was good too. Not sure I'd say it's amazing (I lived in nyc and compare all pizza to places there) but it was good and sauce wasn't too sweet which I like. I would and will definitely come back. read more

GREAT SPOT. Was there last weekend b/c we saw an Instagram post showing their crunch wrap sandwiches and square pizza that looked awesome and we drove 30 minutes just to check it out. Glad we did. It's not often you find a business owner that takes pride in what they do and we met Nino (super nice guy) who does exactly that. Great menu and had a banging chipotle chicken crunch wrap, pizza and cheesesteak. The fries were thick and cooked very well. Solid menu selections with not the same old boring stuff, but you could get something new and interesting on every trip. We got the cheesesteak with smoked gouda and a long hot. I was a little skeptical when they first opened and so I waited to give it a try. This area is notorious for a lot of terrible pizza places to get rave reviews. I now order pizza at least once a week from here and i'm so thankful to have such a fantastic pizza shop close by. I would compare the style of pizza to a detroit style pizza except with more of an edge crust (instead of cheese going on the way to the sides as typical of detroit style). The dough at pop's is outstanding. The 4 day rise gives the dough a wonderful crumb that bakes to a crunchy exterior with a soft but very slightly chewy interior. the sides and bottom get well caramalized. The sauce is one of the best sauces I have had on a pizza and I gave had a LOT. Finally, the owners and staff always are friendly and helpful. It really does have a " neighborhood joint" feel to it and I really do hope for their continued success and that they keep the high standards they clearly have. read more

First-rate ingredients made for an excellent pizza. Definitely the best I've found in Chadds Ford. Clearly a "friends and family" run shop: which makes for friendly, attentive service. Go and you will not be disappointed. They're tucked back in a shopping center on the 202, and from the outside the interior vibe is a little uncertain. Ignore that. The pie is fantastic, as long as you like square pizza (aka grandma pizza, aka Sicilian pizza). BYOB. We dined in, and had two TVs worth of sports and friendly service from the counter staff. Drinks selection in the cooler is a little thin. But the pizza came fast, and steady foot traffic for pickups suggests people are finding that out. Go! read more

Absolutely delicious. I read a few reviews before checking this place out and they seemed a bit too good to be true. Thought it might be family and friends trying to support a new business, I was wrong. This place is as advertised, crust had a very nice crunch to it, the sauce was delicious, can't say enough. Really good. I placed a takeout order over the phone, was told it would be ready in 25 minutes, I showed up 25 minutes later and was in and out of the store in under 5 minutes. Is it a little expensive? Maybe, but considering they're charging 3-4$ more than the competition for a far superior product is perfectly fine with me. Do yourself a favor. Check them out. read more

The first time, it was the best pizza I'd ever eaten in my life. The salads and sandwiches were fresh and full. Perfection. The second, it was delicious. The pizza was beautiful. The chicken on the salad was dry, there's no other way to say it. The third, the ferment on the pizza dough was noticeably shorter. Less fluff, flavor and chew. It was still good. We skipped the salad. I thought, maybe they had to use some dough that wasn't ready. Today was rushed and not as delicious. The pizza was flat and soggy. It wasn't the least bit delicate. The sauce is the last thing that holding on to near perfection. But I agree with others, it seems the quality has declined with popularity. So sad. I know everyone is hustling, but I'd pay more for to experience that first time perfection and see them selling fewer pizzas than eat another mediocre pie. read more

Ordered two takeout cheesesteaks late afternoon, as a walk-in, on a Sunday. Only one roll left but the gentleman taking my order said that would be plenty for two. I said, great -- that works! While I was waiting for the sandwich, I was offered a slice of pizza. Said, sure -- why not? Well, damn; that Pizza (pepperoni) was delicious! Had fresh basil, cupped pepperoni and freshly shaved shards of Parmesan on the nicely sauced slice. They do not put nearly enough cheese on the upside down pizza...for 25.00 for a large..their version of the Margherita pizza has no where enough cheeze...I ordered extra cheese on both but they forgot on the Margherita pizza..had to add my own cheese or it's was like a tomato pie read more

Was excited to try this place and may give it another shot in the future. We ordered a pepperoni and while the sauce and ingredients were excellent, the crust was a dense brick. It was literally so hard it was impossible to eat. Not sure if this is everyone's typical experience here, but definitely not for us.
