BEWARE -- I would not recommend this boba shop, especially if you have a dairy allergy or food allergy. This shop was extremely concerning to me from basic hygienic food safety and allergen-awareness standpoint. When I first asked about dairy, the employee told me that "almost every single drink was dairy-free," with only one or two exceptions. However, as I asked about specific drinks, she repeatedly realized that some actually did contain dairy. She seemed unsure of what ingredients were in the drinks and could not tell me what type of milk was being used, while continuing to assure me that the most drinks were dairy-free. I ordered a jasmine milk tea, but because I was already uncomfortable with the answers I was receiving, I asked again when the drink arrived: "What type of milk is in this?" The employee could not tell me. She repeatedly said, "I don't know, I just know it's dairy-free." When I asked her to please verify the ingredients, she became concerned and explained that the people working in the back did not speak English and only spoke Vietnamese, they wouldn't be able to understand her. An older woman came out and I used a translation app so there would be no misunderstanding. After several minutes of trying to communicate, she eventually brought out a dirty, large, unsealed industrial bag of "non-dairy creamer." She pointed to the words "non-dairy" on the bag to assure me that it was safe. I asked her to turn the bag around to see the ingredients. The first ingredient was milk powder, and the allergen statement clearly said: "CONTAINS: MILK." At that point, I immediately requested a refund. The entire situation was incredibly concerning. If a customer tells you they cannot have dairy, "I don't know what's in it, but I know it's dairy-free" is not an acceptable answer. Employees should know what ingredients are being used, especially when it comes to common allergens. I also found it very troubling that the employee initially gave me incorrect information about which drinks contained dairy, and that the product being used was apparently being treated as dairy-free simply because the packaging said "non-dairy," despite the package clearly stating that it contains milk. Thankfully, I questioned everything before consuming the drink. If you have a dairy allergy or another serious food allergy, I strongly recommend being extremely cautious here. The main appeal to this place is their late hours especially on weekdays. They're open from noon till midnight so if ya need that late night boba run! I recommend the Thai tea. Tried the boba here because it's next to the hotel we are staying at. This place is small and had tons of decor inside. There are small tables and a seating bench. We ordered the king Kong (milk tea with coconut jelly, egg pudding and boba) and the avolanche (avocado slush with coffee jelly). Their milk tea is really good and the combination with the jelly, boba and pudding works well together. I really enjoyed it. The avolanche lacked the prominent avocado flavor (per my husband). Cute little boba shop right next to Brute Force Games which my husband and I enjoy stopping into to see what new board games they have. Luxe has a pretty extensive menu for those who love a variety of options for drinks and snacks. The interior isn't large but accommodating for a decent number of guests. The decor is very nice with a beautiful set up for those Instagram-able moments and pictures! I ordered a very standard Thai tea and my husband ordered the Fiji tea. On first impression of the Fiji tea it was very green and full of toppings, and reminded us of one of those cocktails thay usually do not blend well with the sheer number of ingredients in it. My husband wasn't exactly a fan unfortunately. The excessive toppings and mix of fruit flavors were a miss for him. The Aloha was actually an okay fruit tea, but $6.50 is really steep for a regular ($8.50 for a large!?!) The Golden Tiger tasted pretty artficial and not worth $7.50 in my opinion. Lots of other boba places around that are cheaper and better quality tea. The service was fine and our drinks came out decently quick. Went here after my nail appointment and it hit the spot in a major way. I ordered the Jasmine milk (minus grass jelly) add boba. Service was friendly and very fast. The boba was fresh and soft. am very upset writing this review. My daughter recently ordered a drink from LUXE Boba, and after she drank most , she discovered a bug inside her cup. She was in tears. No parent wants to see their child excited about a treat and then completely horrified moments later. This is not a small issue. Finding an insect inside a sealed drink raises serious concerns about cleanliness, food handling, and overall quality control. We have photos documenting exactly what was found. I understand that mistakes can happen in any business, but food safety is not something that can be overlooked. Customers should be able to trust that what they are purchasing is prepared in a clean and sanitary environment. I hope management takes this seriously, reviews their food safety procedures immediately, and ensures this does not happen to anyone else. Mine was a blended drink so maybe it took longer than theirs, but it just seemed like a little too long, I actually started to wonder if my order was forgotten. The pricing is confusing too. Stopped by to check this place out on a random Sunday afternoon after grabbing some stuff from the grocery store nearby. The name definitely grabbed our attention so we decided to check it out. My husband and I went for the Oh Honey drink, which is honeydew with popping boba, but we switched it out for regular boba. It was absolutely delicious. It seemed endless! They didn't have their drink sizes listed so I figured a large was good cause me and the hubs was sharing. The large was 32oz! Geezy! We couldn't finish it and still had half the tea into the evening. It did taste good tho. The popcorn chicken was not exactly what I was wanting, but it wasn't bad. The curly fries is standard. We got two sauces, ranch and sweet chili sauce. The sweet chili sauce seemed watered down. Overall it was not bad, just more expensive than I cared for. What sucks is no pricing anywhere! (with the exception of sauces! 60 cents!) It was annoying that I had to keep asking what each item cost when I was trying to pick what I wanted. For 3 items we paid just under $30!
