While the massage chairs were very comfortable, the customer service left me feeling unwelcome from start to finish. My friend was offered water or tea, but I wasn't offered anything. What concerned me even more was that the technician came to perform my pedicure wearing the same gloves she had just used during a waxing service. There was still wax and cotton stuck to her glove. When I pointed it out, she initially tried to ignore my concern. I had to insist before she finally changed her gloves, and she did so with a noticeable attitude. Basic hygiene should never be something a customer has to request. Things became even more uncomfortable when it was time to pay. I was first told my total was $88. When I questioned it, the technician quickly changed it to $77 without any explanation. That immediately made me question the pricing and whether I was being charged correctly. I was so disappointed with the service that I left only a $3 tip. When I asked for my receipt, it was handed to me crumpled up to the point that I could barely read it. Again, I was made to feel as though I was inconveniencing the staff simply by asking for a receipt. As an African American woman with a darker complexion, I left feeling like I was treated differently than other customers. I can't say for certain that race was the reason, but it is genuinely how the experience made me feel. No customer should leave a business feeling unwelcome, dismissed, or concerned about whether they were charged fairly. Everyone deserves to be treated with respect and professionalism, regardless of their race. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here, and I won't be returning. It's a horrible habit, but I've been this was for 35 years. Tom proceeded multiple times to shame me for picking at my cuticles even going as far as to show me how his fingernails looked so nice because he doesn't pick at them. I got to the point where I was so embarrassed that I started looking off to my left so I could avoid any sort of eye contact with him. Once I was seated I was presented with a menu of their offerings for manicures and pedicures. I did choose the Blossom Pedicure which was the most costly choice. I had originally chosen this for my manicure as well, However as time dragged on and it did, I was running out of time and went with a basic manicure. My overall impressions are as follows. The costs for services here are grossly overpriced for the quality of the services provided. Over an hour for a pedicure and I did not even get the proper bottom foot scrubbing that I wanted and needed. Even after mentioning it! The Manicure priced at $18 was much more in line with other nail salons and their Basic Manicures, yet the "hand massage" lacked any effort or caring on the part of the Tech. At completion I went to pay at the front. I presented my card to pay and asked to be able to put a tip on my card. I was only then told that only cash tips were excepted but there was "an ATM right outside" apparently. Well I am not going to put my card into some second rate secondary ATM where there is an up-charge for the pleasure of using it! I was not pleased with the services especially considering the Price I was paying! So unfortunately the tech did not receive even the minimal tip that I was going to leave. I will not be back! I would strongly recommend looking at other much better options in the area! 5 years later, I have an update! Recently, I went to the salon again to previous times and had a good experience and I am happy for that. However, today. September 2, 2026 I went for a Manicure and Pedicure. The tech, however very sweet fought me the whole way. I wanted my toenails shorter, she wouldn't really do it. She used the Little tool like she was doing something for 20 minutes and I don't know what she did. She would not use the foot scrubber on my right foot but she wanted to use it on the left foot and when I said, hey, can you use it on the right foot, she wouldn't do it. She said you don't need it. And I said then don't do the left because I want both feet treated the exact same way. And they both needed the cheese grater scrubber on both trust me! I politely asked and she wouldn't do it. So I canceled my manicure and paid for my pedicure. I tried to explain to the young man who is always at the front desk. He did not care at all. After I paid, I kind of waved him over and said hey you know my pedicure did not go well do you want to hear what happened? He's like oh yeah I take it very seriously. No he didn't! I gave him a brief calm, low tone, voice explanation as to not embarrass anyone. It went in one ear and out the other, he could not have cared less! It's very unfortunate this nail salon and such a wonderful location that keeps seeming to fail.

Today…read morewhile relaxing during my pedicure a thought occurred to me; If people have pedicures just so their feet look good, they are sadly missing the experience. Debra is that experience! It's hard to put into words how good Debra is and how good you feel during and after an amazing hot stone pedicure. My feet (and legs) have never felt better and of course my toes look amazing. She is an experienced professional who knows what she's doing, my podiatrist office all love her and sing her praises. She uses healthy products and good products, not junk. Everything in the salon is immaculate. The environment is wonderful, she'll play music you're in the mood for, if you feel chatty, go ahead and chat, Debra is a warm, friendly, fun person. There are days you just feel like closing your eyes and relaxing, she will always ask you what you're feeling, personalizing everything to you. I have had many pedicures and manicures in my life but nothing like this until I moved to Sarasota and was lucky enough to have walked into her nail salon.
