This is a decent nail salon. I came here last Saturday with a friend after calling to see if we would come immediately. We had an appointment somewhere else but after waiting 30 minutes for our appointment to begin, I called here and they said we could be seen immediately. We arrived 15 minutes later and it only took a minute or two for us to be seated at the pedicure chairs... Prices are comparable to other salons in this area. I got the tropical pedicure with a gel color and that came to $60. Kevin was the tech who did my nails and he did a great job. My feet felt soo smooth afterwards and I didn't notice any marks or mistakes with the gel polish. I deducted a star because 1) the callus removal is included in the price of a tropical pedicure but I had to ASK for it. Kevin... I know you saw my big toes were ROUGH lol and 2) they workers or owner's children were running around and screaming loudly in the back rooms. It distracted me from the wonderful music they were playing (Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey). Idk if playing 90s R&B is the norm but I really loved that aspect. read more

My total service was over $500.00 and here is the breakdown: my daughter's services were $175.00 for a full-set, mani-pedi, and eyebrow arch. The other nearly $350.00 despite the total being uneven, I am not sure how that even happens at a nail shop where everything is rounded to the nearest dollar, but anyway, the lashes were $120 for mink individuals. The lashes did not last 24 hours and hadn't gotten wet or anything. They literally began falling off as soon as I left the shop and my extensions typically last between 2 1/2 to 3 weeks before I need a fill-in. The rest is slightly confusing because I am not clear on how the rest of the services were paid out: I received an eyebrow wax and tint, full-set, and polish change. Mind you only one coat of polish was used on my toes and it looks like I could've done that myself. But to charge $230.00 for that which is $60 more expensive than my daughter's services (which were already too expensive) makes no sense since I didn't even get a full pedicure. I tried this salon for the first time today. It was clean. I was the only customer for most of the time there. The technician started off great, doing a good job on my feet. When we sat down for my manicure he looked at my nails and asked if I wanted tips--I said no. He looked frustrated. He started tapping my hand not saying anything, I assumed he thought I was either being too stiff or moving. I was watching a show with my headphones as I always do during my services and was very still. Midway through my manicure he threw my hand back and started fussing in a language I didn't understand. I asked him tell me what the problem was and then asked him what I was doing wrong to which he did not respond. He was extremely rude and inattentive. I will NEVER go back to this salon. Before starting, I asked the staff several times if they were familiar with poly gel, and they assured me that they were. Unfortunately, that was not the case. Halfway through the service, I had to stop the technician because it was clear he did not know what he was doing--poly gel should not be removed with acetone. When I addressed the issue with the manager, he insisted that they do use acetone, which is completely incorrect. At that point, I made it clear I was not paying for a sloppy, unprofessional job. Horrible quality and service! My service was rushed. I asked for gel builder or hard gel nails on my real nails. The nail tech drilled my nails entirely to hard. It was to the point my hands were shaking and in pain several times. I have rings of fire on my nails. I could barely keep my hands in the uv light due to the amount of drilling and heat spikes. The tech cured multiple coats of Goay uv nail glue on my nails in place of any gel builder or hard gel. That's not what I asked for. That's not recommended or good for real nail growth. Cutting corners smh. When it was time to pay she up charged me an extra $10 because she "fixed" two nails. My nails were not broken. There was no cuticle work and there is still gel glue around my nails. The final straw for me was not even putting lotion on my hands or giving me lotion before I left. I'm not impressed. Sad. Someone had to fix it again, but they did not fix it until I mentioned that this is why their reviews are so terrible and questioned their laughter. After today's experience I give this nail salon a negative rating. The last few times I have come my experience has increasingly gotten worse and today the nail has been hammered in the coffin. It started with being sat at filthy station, the nail tech filing hard, bumpy base for the dip coat, the color being wrong which was not a manufacturer issue, the color chart is clearly off a few nails to having gel all on my cuticles and sides of fingers. The absolute worst place to get ones nails done if you like quality and cleanliness. The children of the employees were literally running around the spa then were playing video games on the main TV so loudly that many customers were wincing and the staff didn't seem to care. Poor communication and scheduling: I made a reservation verbally with the owner a week ahead of time for my girlfriends (5 women total) to get pedicures. I got a text that confirmed the appointment and time that same night. Unfortunately, when we arrived no one knew what we were talking about and we had to wait to be seen and couldn't be accommodated at the same time which defeated the point of having the appointment in the first place. The owner did apologize but he wasn't in the spa that day and the woman in charge didn't seem very pleased with our hope of being serviced at the same time as a group. Facility not clean: the website portrays the spa to be clean and well decorated but the space was neither. There was trash falling out of the cans by some of the tables and the pedicure chairs had noticeable stains. Quality of work: The quality was ok, but I'd say more bad than good because that only gel pedicure done that day lasted 3 days because the technician used oil on her nails before she painted them. This is my 3rd time at Luxury Spa Nails and I have a mixed review to share. The first time, the gentleman (cannot recall his name), did a good job but I had to go back for a a couple of nail repairs. At that time, he was not available, so technician Howie completed the repair and did a respectable job. My second appointment was with Howie, who once again did a good job. My third visit was scheduled with Howie, and he forgot about the appointment. I subsequently had my nails done by another technician, Tim, and happy with his work. My only complaint would be, he didn't tend to my cuticles. When I asked about it at checkout, I was told it's an additional charge and you need to ask for it. Should this not be built into the cost? At this point, I'm conflicted about who to book my next appointment with. read more

I was not happy they we're pushy to me same to other customers that one I had to jump in & change subject. I hope I don't get an fungus infection or any kind of infection. He filed my Big toenail and it bleed. He said sorryI told him I better not get an infection. He said no. The pedicure was fair Hot towel Felt good. Manicure: I had the SNS which is supposed to have vitamins & stronger & last longer then the gel. I didn't feel pampered. Like other salons. Especially when your paying $70 services. They speak their language in front of you that's rude. Up date the SNS did not last long, my left middle finger chipped! I'm PO! So here I'm waiting to have it fixed let's see if he's going to charge me. I'm so upset I paid 45 for these SNS nails. Now I should of gotten gel. They never chipped in 1 week. Vector the technician fixed it & did not charge me. Now is the next day I notice my left thumb chipped. He fixed it no charge then he said next time we use gel. He said if chip again to come back. They're was a guy (I don't know if he was the owner) that said there was no one there that did acrylic nails, even though there was a male nail tech doing someone's acrylic nails named Kevin. I visited this nail shop yesterday for the first time because I recently had to cancel my former nail tech. The shop is very pleasing to the eye, comfortable and everyone is very friendly and welcoming. I got my nails done by Howie, he was recommended to me by my best friend who went to him earlier in the day. He was very gentle which I appreciated. The only reason this shop gets a 4 instead of a 5 is because my best friend got a gel fill earlier in the day for $30. Her nails are significantly longer than mine. I have short nails, I did not get a cut down, reshape, did not need a nail fixed, etc. nothing. It was a very simple gel fill but I was charged $35. He up-charged me even though he rolled up on my finger with the mechanical file!! I did not have a good experience at this salon! It may have been the nail tech I got assigned to, Phung, or maybe it's just how they run their establishment. Firstly, I don't usually go to nail salons because I find them to be frivolous, since I work in the healthcare field nothing ever lasts or my fingernails and nail extensions aren't allowed. But I had the day off so I figured I could treat my self. However, since I rarely go to one I'm not familiar with the procedures and there wasn't any consideration for that. When I walked in, 2 people greeted me and asked what service I wanted, I told them a Mani pedi so they had me sign in on their iPad and pointed for me to go to the back. No one told me exactly where to sit and I just stood confused for a bit until they tapped a chair that was ready. The nail tech I was assigned to handed me their very tattered menu and told me to choose. I also want to make a point to say she had a face mask on the ENTIRE time during my service, refused to remove it, but would get annoyed when I couldn't understand what she was saying. I chose the basic package. I had a bit of old nail polish on 2-3 toes so she was trying to convince me to go the next package up just because of nail polish removal. We went back and forth until another nail tech told her to let me do the basic package (first strike). I think from that point on she was just irritated with me. She performed my pedicure VERY roughly, often smacking or throwing my feet into the bucket, and cutting my cuticles to the point of pain at times. When it got to the massage portion I simply told her to stop. She then angrily asked me where the nail polish was that I chose even though I was never given an opportunity to choose a color. Once I did, she breezed through the painting process and pointed me to go sit. I again didn't know where that was so I stood around for a bit until she showed me (second strike). She then tried to convince me to do a full set and I slowly clarified that all I wanted was gel polish, with my natural nail, and a simple nail design (which I will attach). She agreed but it was quite obvious that irritated her as well. The nail cleaning was also rough and she even drew blood while cutting my cuticles but would barely apologize when I would wince in pain. Her coworker sitting next to her apparently noticed something because he also asked if she was okay but she just blew him off. She pointed at me to wash my hands but again I didn't know where I was supposed to do that and was guided down by someone else. Then came the nail polish application which was subpar at best. During that she tapped my foot with hers and I later realized that it messed up the polish on my toes. She attempted to do the very simple design numerous times after telling me it would be $15 extra but FAILED miserably each time. I eventually told her to stop and was just ready to leave at that point! When it came time to pay she kept pointing to the cash app sign but I don't have cash app and told her I wanted to pay with my card only. She again pointed me to the back. Some of her co-workers, one who I assumed was the manager, asked me if I needed help and I told him she told me to go to the back for some reason. CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS WOMAN LED ME TO AN ATM BECAUSE SHE WANTED A TIP?!?!?! I WAS LIVID!!!! I stormed back up, paid the $60, and stormed out because I don't like to cause a scene (third strike!!!!). I immediately called the manager to explain what happened and that I WILL NEVER BE COMING BACK TO THEIR SALON! He was very apologetic and asked me to come back so he could fix the situation but the damage was already done and I had a busy day ahead of me. I simply told him to have a conversation with her about professionalism and customer curtosy. I would NEVER recommend this salon based on my experience. We recently moved to Maryland and decided to try and find a good nail salon. I am giving them a 1 star it not clean, expensive and nail work is not good at all. They weren't rude but weren't to welcoming. Even my daughter told me that the gentleman doing here nails was rushing. I was scratched pinched and burned with hot towel. They charged me 100 for me and 50 for my daughter 9. I get it she is small and it's hard to put nail polish on but if your going to charge me that much do a better job. I had been here before and had a great experience. I offered to bring my mom in for 2 giggly jello pedicures. Both nail techs had no idea what the process was. They weren't paying attention to what they were doing. They rushed on doing the pedicures and they are $50!!!! If I'm going to pay that much for a pedicure then you could at least know what you're doing. The young lady over filled the tub with water which caused the jelly not to activate. She sat there confused and I had to explain to her that she needed to remove some water first. They had subpar service. The front desk lady wasn't that friendly, but she did the bare minimum of what's required of her, which didn't include checking me in because we actually do that ourselves. 1. They have iPads for customers to check in. 2. If you're getting a pedicure, they'll let you sit in the chair and soak until someone is available to help you. 2a. This is a pretty good tactic because once you're sitting in the chair soaking, you're more likely to wait longer than if you were sitting in the waiting area; I waited for at least 45 minutes because they were extremely short staffed in the morning. 3. Everyone seemed to arrive at the same time - 10:20AM, so if you're going on a Saturday morning, get there around 10AM if you're okay with waiting 20 minutes to get serviced. 4. The actual work itself was good. I don't get anything other than a white gel pedicure, so if you mess that up then you gotta be pretty terrible, lol. I'm satisfied with my pedicure and the price - $45 not including the tip I gave. P.S. Heads up: I was asked if I had CashApp to make the payment that way instead of using my card.
