Quincie Novella got us started with the process and from there we worked with the schedulers. Leticia was always responsive and her replacement Abigail was as well. We were very happy with all the caregivers and many of them were with us for long periods of time. (There was one CG we did not mesh with personality wise and a new CG was sent as soon as we notified Salus.) Dad passed in 2021 but we kept Salus as our provider to help me with mom as she aged after dad's death. Our last, and perhaps favorite CG was Rosie (full name Rosalinda ?) Overall, a good experience, and a bargain considering proximity to campus and Irvine rent prices. I enjoyed the gas stoves especially, as well as the quick and efficient maintenance. The age of the buildings mean that some of the fixtures are wearing out, but if you request that they be replaced, that will happen! I had an old, low-pressure faucet repaired and replaced with a modern one with better pressure. Excellent! Location can't be beat, especially if you are in Physical Sciences. I did not enjoy the trampoline-like floors at certain places in my second floor apartment, as walking at a normal pace would make the floors and walls shake noisily. Another minus is the lack of A/C, which combined with the poor ventilation means it gets stuffy and hot easily if the temperature starts to climb outside. I recommend a portable A/C in your room, or at the least a strong fan. It's a good investment if you can swing it. There seems to be a bit of grunge in the nooks and crannies most places, though I attribute that to the age of the place. The communal washers and dryers are a bit mildew-y as well, but when is that not the case? I can't comment on the social experience here, as I didn't participate in any community events. I was in the graduate student side of the community, which was quiet. I was very satisfied and would easily live here again if it fit my current needs.

They also make sure to play the leaf blower like an instrument right outside your window EVERY DAY at 8 am, sometimes earlier. If you care about your sleep, dont make the mistake of housing here.
