You apparently have, what I now believe, is a dishonest person on your team, representing Lyft. My iPhone SE, was accidentally left in the back seat of one of your drivers vehicle when he dropped us off at the Sacramento Airport, the drivers name was Anthony, driving a white Toyota RAV4, Hybrid! This was mine and my sister's very first ride with your company or any other company, on Oct. 1, 2025 @ 3:30 am. experience using Lyft and I might add my last. The driver already confirmed that he had my iPhone, when I first reached out to you, and your company is not able to reach him??....According to your representative, he does not even return your calls, let alone mine. Shame on this company! I am an 81 year old senior, who was brought up to be honest, and not steal other peoples belongings..... Needless to say, my "word of mouth" will not be pleasant regarding your company. I did check some of your reviews on Yelp...not all were flattering to say the least!! I've used Lyft a few times and the rides have gone well each time. Lyft was having a promotional sale in March. A trip to Social Security was only $7.53. I use Lyft whenever I accompany my dad to his doctor's appointments. It was initially difficult selecting Lyft Cash as the default payment. I was able to select Lyft cash after I chose my ride. Lyft and Sac Yellow Cab are the only rides available on Sundays. On April 13th, when my dad needed to be picked up from the ER at Mercy General, Lyft arrived within a few minutes. read more

I left my phone in Fred's car tryed to get it back thru lyft no help at all so i called my phone and Fred answered it. He charged me $20 to bring it back , Then lyft charged me $20 and i gave Fred a $5 tip that was before i knew lyft was going to charge be as well. So a $13.99 ride ended costing me $58.99. We decided to try lyft just yesterday. Our first trip, to the dentist was fine and we exchanged 5 star reviews. The second ride with Brandon was just terrible. His backseat stunk of urine, it was very strong and foul. Brandon didn't seem to be aware of it. He drove the wrong way to our destination, the Emergency Room of Kaiser hospital on Morse ave. I tried to direct him to the rear of Kaiser, on Cottage way where the ER is but he had already put us on Fulton ave which was full of heavy traffic, moving slow. I worried if I would smell like urine when I got out of his vehicle, I noticed he had passed up Cottage way which was our turn. He was in the wrong lane again, and turned us around again going the wrong direction. When we finally reached the ER, I told him where to drive but he said, " no, I go this way". Well he got us in the back, he was facing a moving Ambulance, he said, " uh oh"...... I was very upset at this point. I told him to just let us out. I told him he's better not try to charge us for this ride, he said he had to do it. I said " shame on you ".... he deleted the charge, I handed him $5 and told him to use it to buy spray or cleaner for his back seat. How can I avoid this happening to us again? read more

We used Lyft recently to go from our hotel to the convention center at 6:00 pm. Our driver was prompt and very personable. We called again for a 10:00 pm return trip. We included the details that I am disabled and use a walker. I sat on my walker for over an hour on K St. surrounded by inebriated revelers and transients. Our request was dropped by 4 different drivers. I was scared to death. We ended up getting a ride from a family member staying in the hotel across the street. I've made two attempts to use Lyft from the SAFE Credit Union Performing Arts Center and they have failed to arrive at the pickup curb in front. Both times they arrived on 13th street where their is no parking and we had to walk 1/2 block using a walker. They are horrible at customer service. read more

I was happy when the LYFT Hub opened on Fulton, which is not far from where I live. I have visited there several times and never had a problem. They have provided us drivers with perks a few times and I often get comments on the blue face bags that LYFT gave me which are on each side door. They have never had to be used. I'd also like to compliment the pax I get from LYFT, with the exception of a small few, those who choose LYFT are far superior to the pax on UBER. LYFT is the better of the two by far in all ways! I have nearly 4,000 rides in nearly 4 years and although I have another job, I just love driving LYFT and find it highly satisfying and relaxing while making some extra money. a smooth painless procedure! rolled in. left my keys on the seat, sat down inside and did a brief 20 - 30 minute orientation. chairs are the. folding metal type, not so comfortable. I have been driving Lyft for almost 3 years. I have never taken one of these classes, and Lyft never asked me to. Everything I learned about how to drive for Lyft, I either Googled it or watched demo videos on Youtube. Don't be fooled by these Lyft Hubs, they just want their bonus for referring you, and are absolutely not necessary to drive for Lyft. As for the car inspections, Pep Boys or Jiffy Lube can do that for you. read more

I have taken over 50 rides with liftsand I am one of your number one customersBut the truth the matter is I understand gas prices are going up but I think you're deliberately screwing me by making this way more expensive. Great team at Lyft, very positive and professional and fast service when renewing my Lyft Inspection

I often use Lyft to get to work. I did not have an issue until yesterday. I had a driver that did not even wait a full minute before he left. He called but I had already put my phone in my pocket because I was heading down. When I got down he was leaving and I could not catch up. I let Lyft know what happened and they still took the money from my account for the no show fee. This is what I learned. This company could care less about their customers. Our word means nothing to them. I learned that as long as the GPS shows they are near you they can pretend to wait the full five minutes. Even if you cannot see them. This driver made it seem like he had waited the full five minutes. I told them that I saw him leave and it had only been a minute and they did not care at all. Their customer service was rude, they will not let you talk to a person. I will not be using them from this point on because of their poor customer service. This situation caused me to be late for work. I had a client have to wait 30 minutes for my arrival. A coworker had to come pick me up. All because they could not right their wrong and they still took money from me even through the their driver did not follow their own policy. read more

I came in today to get my vehicle inspected so that I could drive, I checked in at 3:42 PM with a text message from left welcoming me to the driver support center. I ended up leaving 30 minutes later because all I saw was a bunch of people that were employees they seem to be doing nothing for the people that make the money, the drivers! I went to the Uber driver support center in Rancho Cordova last week and within 15 minutes my vehicle was inspected and I was on my way making money driving and picking up passengers. I don't know how to lyft Can get away with a good press in the media, because my experiences they are the worst for the drivers in most ways. They have a $2500 deductible if you're in an accident where is Uber is only $1000. The lyft filters only stay on about 15 minutes and the uber one will stay on as long as it takes you to get to your destination. I referred someone or year ago, and the person that worked at the driver support center tried to steal the referral bonus. Seems like they've hired a bunch of scam artists! read more
