Please do not waste your time and money dealing with this place. Called to confirm a part was available from their website, gave them their own stock # and SKU number and was told it was available. Placed the order the next morning on 3-12-2025. A week later still no shipping notice so I called to check the status. Then told that they, "Tried to reach out to me but couldn't get it touch" only to tell me they weren't able to locate the part on their parts shelf so they would issue me a full refund. OK, now nearly 3 weeks later and after 3 documented phone calls of asking why i have not received my refund, still getting the run around from their manager "Z" and, "Well you ordered that through the website so it's a different department. you'll have to speak with "Ryan". I've already spoke with these same two guys three different times and still have not refunded my money. I'm filing fraudulent charges with my bank as well as contacting the BBB and Detroit Attorney Generals office and District business office. They shipped me an engine I purchased, the shipping company lost it (not m-97s fault) and will only reimburse the company who shipped it and then they have to reimburse me, M-97 will not file the claim so I can get reimbursed, all they have to do is file with the shipping company to get me my money and they won't do it!!! Purchased a part online through their website. To no avail, I had not received the air cleaner box a week later. I called the store to find out that the part purchased was salvaged by someone prior to shipping and that I would be refunded through PayPal. Another week goes by and I have no refund. I talk to both Lianne and Joe who state they will "leave a note for the manger" but there was never any follow up. Was also told the "manager" was out of town. Was given the run around multiple times and still no refund. No one has reached out to me to fix the issue. Horrible people to deal with. They will lie and tell you they will do something and then they do not do it. I had to pay and arrange a shipping company to pick up my bill of sale and title because they would not send it out. Then they held my deposit for over a month when i started requesting. I had to constantly phone them. FIND a different broker if you are dealing with COParts auctions, these people are exactly as the negative reviews describe. I wish to god I had read the reviews before giving them my money. If there are positive ones, they are probably FAKE. They will take your money fast, and then ask for more money. Total losers. If i could give this place zero stars, i would. I called in today, 2/15/20 and asked if they could check and see if they had certain bridgestone tires that i was looking for to replace. The employee said, "i'm not sure, you can come down and check" First of all, I am not a car, tire, or mechanic type to even know what I would be looking for. All i know is i had the make, model # and size of the tire. I explained that I would have to drive 40 minutes to this location just to "check" a warehouse of tires myself. I politely asked again if he could check for me before I drove down there to buy any tires. He gave an attitude and said hold on. Once he returned on the phone, he said, "nope, no tires". I thanked him for looking for me and he hung up abruptly without a response. If I was the business owner here, I would have this employee terminated. I bought a used BMW motor for parts but specifically made sure that the block was in 100% useable condition. First the motor was still installed, then oh its out the car, looked like it was outside in the weather for years and they needed a sucker to buy it. Talked to Brandon the whole time, he's the one who ensured me it was all ok and the block was rock solid, then when i found a crack and they bailed, wouldn't refund, return, exchange, even with their ridiculous restock fee NOTHING but a measly $300 bribe to go away.
